We had a superior room on the 6th floor and loved it; huge bed, nice air-con, open-air bathroom; good food and cold beer right downstairs; in the midst of the Khao San road partying
LOUD live music outside until after midnight; not good if you're jet-lagged and need your sleep
Staff helpful, room cleaned only uf requested, centrally located for tourist strip. Noise from bars.
Bed hard, bathroom tired, pool inconciquential, wifi dropped out each time we left room n would only allow 2 logins per day. Tourist desk only interested in selling their tours, not forthcoming with any other info.
Location and staff were a delight, but
We just could never get hot water in the shower. Nothing brings you down like a lukewarm shower.
very nice hotel in perfect location. quiet an clean. this will be our hotel for stay over's in bangkok :)
Awesome location if you looking for good food + drinks and wrap up your day with nice massage
Sometimes it gets annoying when you see wasted foreigners around you drunk and walking like zombies
Friendly reception, nice rooms at poolside, with comfortable beds
Very touristy area, depressing to see, will never come back because of this. Room will only be cleaned after asking several times.
Great location, clean rooms, good food in the restaurant - I recommend this place!
We loved that this hotel. It was surrounded by shops and the busy market street. Lots of fun nightlife. Close to the river and a walk to the palace (fairlly long but the exercise always feels good)
Good location very close to Khao San Road with little noise which is nice for that area.
Where to start? We only stayed for one night but that was enough never to return. The staff at this place are appalling - especially those on Reception. We arrived after a long journey to be greeted by someone on their smartphone who couldn't really be bothered to help us check-in. Any time we asked for advice/assistance it seemed like an effort and we were quoted 550THB for a taxi, even though we hadn't said where we wanted to go to?! We also noticed that guest passports were left totally unattended on the reception desk, visible for everyone to see and anyone to steal, when the Receptionist was chatting away from the desk to one of her friends. The rooms were equally disappointing. Carpet in the room gives it a muggy feel amid the humidity of Bangkok. One of the rooms we stayed in smelled terribly of damp - it was pungent and hit you as soon as you walked through the door which made for an awful stay. The air con also left a lot to be desired, not really kicking in at all - even though the lady told us to wait for 10 minutes (so obviously they've had that complaint before) - the cold air was coming out but not circulating round the room which was awful in the stifling heat. The bathroom was also not ventilated at all so gets really hot and sticky. With the horrendous staff and awful bedrooms I would advise anyone staying in Bangkok/Khao San Road area to avoid this place - there are plenty of other lovely hotels and guesthouses for similar money but a vastly better experience.
The location is perfect, not far from the river, MBK Building ,the old Palace. Very central to most things. Meet a lot of travellers from other countries.Very clean.
Taxi drivers are a rip off. Most from that area do not want to use meters. You think its cheaper but it up to 100baht dearer.
Perfect location for our weekend in Bangkok - right on all the nightlife of Koh San Road and Tani Road which is exactly what we went for. Everything about Villa Cha Cha is good from the staff to the cleanliness of the room. Despite the noise from the street the rooms were quiet and comfortable.
More expensive than other hotels/guesthouses in the area which also have the same benefits. Feel that for the extra money breakfast could be included. However, the breakfast from the Marcaroni Club in front of the hotel is very good and not that expensive.
The swinging pool for our baby at the heat of the day. Very good location.
Room was windowless and dark - not enough light to read.
Lovely staff, great location and good food.
Slippery tiles around the pool are very dangerous. My 16 month old slipped and split her head. I saw another young girl slip and hurt her arm. More precaution need to be taken to make that area safe.
la situation et la piscine
Lovely room.good location.good restaurant.
Too noisy.could hear people in next room clearly.
Comfy beds, great wifi, great location
Staff could have been friendlier. There was no window in our room which was odd.
I like very much this kind of hotels, very Thai
The location. Lovely pool little hidden gem staff very helpful
Friendly happy staff the food and service was very good . The reception staff very helpful. Right in the heart of everything but far enough away to not have the noise. Loved the pool was great , love this place. Second time here hopefully not last
Kids liked the pool to cool off in ther afternoons, location is great not far from koh san road.
Staff not very friendly. Signs everywhere about cost of replacing items bit too much.
Access to Khaosan road as well as water taxies, Walking distance to the Grad Palace and other attractions Friendly staff
it's a cool place really close to were the action, but not in the middle of it. The staff is pretty helpful and speaks great English.
It's close proximity to the liveliness of the khao San road, it's restaurant facilities
The bedrooms were no way as nice as the Internet pictures suggest, and the security on the doors were very poor.
swimming pool, food and staff
red ants, no soap, not enough toilet paper
The area , staff was very friendly.. We could easiely change the Room to have one with an window.
The dark gangways , some Mosquitos at the pool.
