Tv had a good amount of channels. Good price for a single room.

Bugs. Everywhere. In the bed, pillow and all over my clothes. Also no window, but the room was very inexpensive for a reason I guess.

Staff can not speak English and unfriendly. They knew little about the tourist information. The room is not very quiet in the night because of the bad sound insaulation. The accomation could not afford hot water. The inn does not have the shower machine fix-up even when the guest told the condition. The inn has no plan B for the compensation.

I live this inn for 4 days. But it has no hot water shower. When I told the staff about the shower machine didn't work, the situation didn't improve even after the other day when I came back from Pai. The boss told me the machine wasn't be fixed because of Chinese New Year. I was so disappointed about the experience there.

Big room, basic décor but TV/wifi/aircon/fan, small balcony overlooking wats/temple rooftops across the road, easy enough to walk everywhere as Old City is small enough although not located right in main areas. Can leave luggage there if leaving later on in day.

By not being in main areas, you are not surrounded by bars etc. Quiet enough; road traffic outside does quieten down at night...just as well as walls are thin so you can hear any noise from outside (including other travellers in cafes below!) Reception not always manned - you are given a key to the front of the shop and the phone has a direct line to Walking Guesthouse 1 if you need anything (so if you arrive to check-in but the shop is locked, head a short way down the road towards the centre to Walking Guesthouse 1.) Hard bed but that is the norm for Thailand. Couldn't check-in straight away although to be fair, check-in time is 1pm and I arrived at 12 but there were still people there and they had to clean the room so I just left my stuff and had a wander. Where it is not right in the centre, you will cover a lot of kms walking around (although to be fair, you would anyway as wats and markets are spread out in the Old City and outside the city walls) but I enjoy the walk so was fine for me.

The location is good, inside the old town at the opposite of Chiang Man temple. Not noisy at midnight. The boss is nice.

1.no clean service(we stay there for four nights and never have clean service) 2.so many ants! 3.the girl at the counter doesn't have a good English skill 4.a hot shower is not guaranteed...the water is not very hot In general, the guesthouse is ok at such price

Best shower in a while. Clean. Good value.

Laundry service just folded our clothes and even added stains.. Definitely go elsewhere for that. Hard bed.
