We enjoyed much of the Splash jungle

The price of food at the restaurant is too high

We liked the water park, the penthouse suite, the gardens, the staff, the rooms, closeness to airport is good for a couple of days rest at the end of your trip, my three kids age 8,8 and 9 loved this hotel

The isolation and the food, lack of choices, bound to hotel, good for a short stay

- Grand Centara has a great money scheme when you commit certain dollars (E.G. 40,000Baht committed gave us an additional 20,000 baht for us to spend. - The beach luxury villas were very nice, with good sized personal pool. Very clean and nice. View out to ocean was beautiful with sunsets. - Free access to waterpark and slides was fantastic and kids did not have to line-up. Great access and addition. - Great for relaxation and resort-only access (suggest max of four nights) - Space people were great, and enjoyed, just missing a few of the items that they advertise.

- Was just missing the finishing touches for the price - Restaurants were not quite up to the quality I would expect for a 5-star resort - good, but not excellent or outstanding. - Villas were missing just little things, like a cleaning cloth and tea towel. - overall, we got a discount to get in - I think it is value at the discout price, but not at full-price. - There is no shopping or shops around this area - we did not need them, as we had already done Patong before, but need to be aware of this.

water park

Spacious rooms designer rooms and balcony, water park for the children, a natural beach with no sun beds and wonderful waves. Fantastic swimming pools,Close to the airport for early morning transfers. Supermarket on resort so very handy for those whom wish to do self-catering. Staff friendly

Apart from the climate you would not necessarily feel that you where in thailand. Not a hotel for those wishing for a thai experience.

It was not too crowded so plenty of space by the pool. Beach was lovely. On site shop, splash world (children loved it). Landscaping was relaxing. Safe envirnment, very little traffic. Restaurant choice was good with local restaurants near by if you wanted a change of scenery. Very helpful staff. Good sightseeing tour operator

Breakfast was a bit frenzied, a cultural issue with certain travellers. Could offer twice daily bus transfers to Phuket Town/Patong to provide a bit more flexibility. Airport runway activity was a surprise to start with but was not a nuisance.

The Hotel has numerous on site facilities and restaurants to be enjoyed.

1.The noise from the aircraft can be irritating. 2. A more regular and and convenient shuttle service needs to be provided to the shopping areas. 3. Too few service staff at breakfast.

Excellent Jungle splash water sports located in the heart of the resort. Very friendly staff. Loved the villa club where you do your check in and check out (for villas only). Excellent service from staff, smiling, helpful and full of attention. Clean resort, well maintained. very good massage service near by the beach, not cheap but very good service and nice location.

Quite far from any good restaurants or shops, need to have your own transport or be ready spend money on taxi. Hot spot for Russians and Chinese, who are not reputed to be friendly and calm. Limited breakfast selection for vegetarian or muslims. You need to ensure staff do not add up chicken or pork in your eggs.

Beach ,seaside was excellent.close to the airport was good, if you have early flight.If you have children, waterpark good

Distances between rooms and beach and restaurants were long.

Realy nice hotel to spend an luxurious last day i Thailand before leaving for the airport. The waterworld is great for kids all the way up to childish adults. Maybe not the place to go to experience Thailand since it's a neutral world of it's own.

A bit unpersonal and neutral, not as warm and cozy as Thailand usually are.

We loved it! Specially the Splash Jungle park! :-) Very nice and clean rooms. Would rekommend it.

There was some problem with the shower, and its leaking water all over the floor. There is something wrong with the design of the shower. Though it's bath tub under the shower. In addition, the showers are made ​​for a Thai people length, I´m a girl at 170 cm and did not get water on my head without lifting the shower in my hand.

The room is big and clean, with plenty of facilities for kids. However, in comparison to Centara Grand Beach at Karon, it pales in terms of facilities and activities for the children.

The location is too secluded and there are not much choices in terms of shopping and restaurants compared to Centara Grand Beach.

2-bedroom villa with a private pool is really nice. Children stayed in the pool all day. Large living room with high ceiling and well equipted kitchen for cooking. The airport is next door and we could hear the plane takes off and landing. My nephew loves the planes so we do not bother with loud noise from the airport. We love our villa.

Looks like it has only one good restaurant nearby which is a bit far to walk. Without car would be difficult to go around.

Villa space and pool is good

Shuttle services is very poor and unorganised , microbus driver named sak was very rude as he one time ask me to be able to ride the bus there is only one seat , so I have to leave my wife in the patong , when I refused he left us both where I took a taxi of 1000 batt. Reception are lazy in response to you , I would not recommend it

The resort was very neat and well taken care off. Everything was at hand and the food was good. Breakfast and also the buffet

Location is just next to the airport, which can cause noise. Next to that, if you want to go do something outside the resort, you have to take a taxi.

the cleanliness of the room were poor.

1) The one-bedroom suite is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious with everything you need. The bathtub is a jaccuzzi in which my child had a wonderful bubble bath! 2) The open kitchen is equipped with a saucepan, a pot and a microwave oven but without forks or other tools for eating (we didn't use the kitchen). 3) There was a rack in the kitchen for us to hang up wet clothes and a washing line on top of the bath tub for the wet swim suits. 4) free WIFI but the signal was not strong within the room. We need to stay by the door in order to get stable and strong signal for our devices. 5) The water park is wonderful. The staff were friendly. The floaties and the life jackets were kept in good conditions. WIFI signal at the water park was strong!

1) The most unexpected event during my stay was the suspension of power supply in the whole resort around 10- 11am. Though we learnt from other blogs that there were occasional blackout at the night time, we didn't expect that it would happen during the morning when we were heading to the water park. We were allowed to get into the water park but the slides were not working. We spent our time in the lazy river and the wave pool without waves. When we were about to check out, the power supply resumed. My son was a bit disappointed that he couldn't play the slides that morning. Nevertheless, we had already had great time and joy at the water park in the afternoon before the day. 2) about the dinner buffet. I don't complain about the price which charges 590++ Baht for a low varity of dishes. I do have some words about the drinks policy. How come water is not provided in dinner time in a 5-star hotel? 3) The beach needs to be better managed so that the guests can have more enjoyment. 4) If you are aircrafts lovers, you will like the hotel location. You can have a close view of AirAsia planes flying low across the beach, accompanied with the engine noise. During our stay, the flights were not frequent that I failed to take a picture of an aircraft flying on top of my head.

Check in service was shocking. They where unsure of how to do things and bellboy didn't know much about room. Spa pool was broken green and should of been empty or covered. Half of outside lights didn't work. Spa bath didn't work. Only one tap worked. Shower had hole in roof. Windows in lounge area was full of wipe marks. Stairs to second floor where fall apart

The water world was the only redeeming point for this Hotel

To call this resort Centera Grand is very misleading as it does not follow the standards that we have known of the Centera Grand brand. We booked at this resort thinking that it would be of the same standard as the other Centera Grand managed properties , we were very disappointed to say the least.

They have a staff off professionals and kindness people. they helped me with an unexpected problem that came up and I have left very impressed. It was like a paradise where you can see only peace.

the beach is not so good.

i love the swimming pool inside my room and the splash jungle.

i am disappointed the outdoor bath tub and the spa bath tub which didn't work. The hotel should check the room facility before the guest go to the room.

It's close to Phuket Airport and you can have free access to the water park.

The hotel arrangement was a mess that we had been told to stay in building 6 but finally building 8 was where we stayed. The room floor was unclean with scratchs and hair, not to mention an unlockable balcony door right next to your bedroom.

Great place for family vacation.

Too big places, for morning breakfast need to be walk around 10 minute. Or need to be wait for a trolley car. Food was not bad.

As I was staying with my young children, the Water Park was great hit and the location near the beach. The gym facilities were very good and the staff there were very helpful.

The location, actually is right next to the runway of the airport, the internet says 2km away but this is misleading as you can hear the planes taxing on the runway before takeoff and of course the taking off itself.
