Dirty pool. The room more like three stars, not more.

Staff were most helpful. The hotel is a bit out-dated but still provides good service and comfortable rooms for a reasonable price.

TV's need replacing with flatscreen and greater variety of cable programs. Free wifi in rooms would be beneficial.

The Wiang Inn. Although this hotel is over 30 years old it is still very pleasant. The rooms are clean and well equipped, however the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. The hotel service is very good and the staff are very friendly, however drink prices are expensive. Breakfast was included with our accommodation, however the dinning area was very busy with two bus loads and the food was not hot. The selection however was good. The hotel is situated in the heart of Chiang Rai and is very close to the night bazaar and the Thai markets.

Decor is tired and needs renovation. All 3 days we were there the pool was closed ' for chemical treatment'. WiFi is only available in the lobby, but is free. Surprised to be charged for a jug of milk to make tea.

Downstairs lobby very nice, breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful, location excellent. In the Bedroom..... Bed clean but bathroom.......... !!Only thing that is good is the hot water. Definitely a hotel only for one to two days, unfortunately we stayed a whole week!!

Bathroom is FILTHY! The hseems to be saving money by having ony one girl clean around 50 rooms, so she hardly has time to properly clean the bathroom! The bathtub is brown from filth, the plastic bathcurtain is FILTHY! The door is dirty and half rotten on the bottom! Towels are greyish, after one time use, ready for washing! The lobby downstairs is cleaner than the bathroom!

Nice location, very close to night bazzar. The bed was really comfortable. Staffs were helpful. Room service was pretty fast. Breakfast buffet was also good with variety of Thai and international.

Room was a bit too small even when you stay on a deluxe. No free wifi, I dont think but I used my phone service to connect the internet anyway. Some part of the hotel and furnitures were pretty old. Very crowded at the buffet in the morning.

Swimming pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom! The hotel only used a net to clean the pool.

No Internet in room. Bad, ungrounded electricity - got a shock in the bathroom Try to look and feel modern, but actually run down and needs major upgrade Very much a tour group hotel. Dozens of buses with hundreds of tourists on package arrive hourly.

The location near the night market and restaurants was excellent.

Thread-bare towels, old and uncomfortable bed. Generally, the rooms need some maintenance, such as repainting.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast and good value. Will be back soon. Good location for city.

Needs a face lift in rooms but I will be back.

We loved this hotel. It really can boast that it is the pride of the north. It was clean,comfortable, had a good breakfast buffet, centrally located and a good value for our money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Shower on the fifth floor kept cycling between hot and cold. That needs to be adjusted.

Location was fantastic! Near every main city point!

The door and restaurant staff were lovely and friendly. And the breakfast had a lot of variety.

Had to pay 100 Baht for wifi.Every other place I stayed in the wifi was free, including hostels.

The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. The hotel needs some love and tender care, but otherwise a well positioned place to stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Hat auch einen ausgezeichneten Pianisten an der Bar. Das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Vor ca. 2 Monaten hat mir der cashier die 2 Tage gleich dreimal auf meiner AMEX Karte belastet. Da ich auf einer grossen Reise war, habe ich das sehr spaet bemerkt. Das Hotel hat sich nicht sehr kulant und kundenfreundlich verhalten. Aber mit Hilfe von AMEX habe ich nach ca. 3 Wochen die 3 x 2 Nächte gutgeschrieben erhalten.
