The location was good. Rooms were a good size.
Staff have limited English and were not very helpful when we asked about things. Pool was not inviting. Didn't know where to get towels from. Breakfast was very basic, coffee tasted burnt, asked for sunny side up two eggs got them cooked both sides, orange cordial not juice. Everyday you have to ask for breakfast vouchers.
Good location, great pool, big room, let me check in very early in the morning
friendly staff who tried hard to assist with our enquiries and needs
lack of information about local facilities and tours
The location, close to the city center. Friendly staff who are trying their best. The breakfast. The swimming pool.
The whole hotel is fitted with cheap and low quality Chinese products that don't work. Had to change rooms, as airco and tv (both chinese brand) didn't work, drain in shower couldn't handle the water coming out from the shower head, floors of the buildings were flexing and creaking when you walk on them. The pictures of (nice)houses used in the booking pages are of a separate part of the compound whereas the actual hotel rooms are located in a concrete 'box' closer to the entrance.
The staff was very cordial and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist me on a couple of occasions. The room was clean and comfortable, compared to my previous stay in East Timor. (Granted, that was 12 years ago!)
The breakfast menu was a little different-not terrible, just not to my liking. I would have preferred a little more western style dishes, but that's just me.
Good location on beach, and accessible to other hotels and restuarants.
Wifi only available for one device. Limited breakfast choice. Gym not open. emptied the pool while we were there.
Rooms were very clean, service was well.View magnificent. Loved the sunset.
Friendly, helpful staff; excellent location close to the beach
Cleanliness. Stayed here before. It's a bit Fawlty Towers but ok because the staff are friendly and do their best. Decent pool if a little spartan in decorations.Internet is reliable if you get in a good room. Local staff are very helpful. On balance I would go again on busuness but not with family. . .
Overpriced rally for what you get. Breakfast is a bit meagre and only served once so if you get there after all the gannets you only get cornflakes. I gave up after a few days. Couple of oranges cut up for fruit. Sausages, rice and cereals. Not sure what was in the other bain- maries .... always empty by the time I got there at 8.30am. I'd accept this for 40$ if it was remote China but not here for 100$+tax. Some rooms internet does not work because booster routers are limited another cost cutter, I suspect. The towells are getting a bit threadbare, not taht I'm keen on the fluffy kind.. At least they are clean. However if you stain them you are expected to pay extra??? A reflection of the Chinese management. No lights in pool bad for safety because pool s now open 24hrs. Another cost cutter. I think staff have issues with the management. Very low pay I found out from one who moved to another job.
