Hotel Paris, hotel in Hammam Sousse

Hotel Paris is located in the medina, just a 5-minute walk to beaches. It offers 24-hour reception and guest rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the old town.

Great budget accommodation right in the medina! It felt very safe, and seemed to be the unofficial backpacker place in Sousse (where many other options are fancy/pricey). Clean, comfortable, surprisingly quiet with friendly staff.

I liked that there is an old town and a more modern one.

I liked that there is an old town and a more modern one. The people are all very friendly and, as a woman travelling on her own, I was alsways respected, well treated. There are beaches at Hammam-Sousse and along the coast. You find out which one you prefer. Taxis are not expensive. There are a sort of taxi-busses (louages) at a very modest price. You make them stop anywhere to get in and have them stop anywhere to get out again. From Hammam-Sousse many excursions are possible. I ate at the guest house, I recommend it. For communication a mobile phone with a translator from the internet is useful, if you are not fluent in the Arab language.

I have too much to talk about that does not fix on here, was a good place to stay, and I will return back for sure, a few things I didn't like but regards price, clean up and security, also the couples can stay here without no problems, also the safety is good, I think that was a good place to stay in and have my holidays, I would reserve the Sousse Beach again, I do recommend it!

The main street was fine but the other streets could have done with a bit of cleaning round the sides. There was plenty to do round and about but we were in the wrong place. Everyone we spoke to was very nice and helpful but we were the only Brits there so we felt somewhat on our own. My husband felt uncomfortable at night when we went out to eat because I was usually the only female in the room so we ate indoors most evenings. Tunisia is a lovely place but it is in a difficult position. It will take time for people to venture back for holidays after the incident and because we were alone we felt very restricted in what we could do. Most females were totally covered on and off the beach so I wasn't comfortable in shorts or bikini and there is a lot of restrictions on alcohol. I'm not a drinker but my husband enjoys a few sherbets on holiday. Few places served alcohol, even in restaurants and we couldn't even buy it locally to take back to the flat. Initially we found ourselves in a Muslim- no alcohol hotel at the start of the holiday, but that's another story. Tunisia is beautiful, the weather was great and others on our plane had a great time elsewhere. Just be careful where you book.

This is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in. Toutou is a fantastic, thoughtful host. He made me feel very welcome in the lovely local neighborhood of Hammam Sousse, and gave me tons of info on how to enjoy Tunisia. He also makes a spectacular omelette! The rooms are great, the breakfast was fantastic, the neighborhood is lively and quaint. A short taxi to the medina, louage station, and the beach. All around great value. Thanks for everything!

The most thing I liked with this hotel is quite. I went for celebrating the New Years night outside the hotel and when I came back at 3:30 I felt tired to my bed and slept for more than 10 hours without any disturb. That was really comfortable and nice thing about thr Dreams Beach Hotel in Sousse.
