Likualofa Beach Resort  

Not a thing it was only fit for animals to stay in!

The room had to be paid for in advance as flying out early and staff did not want to check me out! The room was filthy dirty so much do bare feet were dirty in minutes and hands needed washing after touching anything! The bedding was dirty and had bed bugs and other mites in! The room was highest charged due to being close to sea and staff or their friends parked a large car in front of our windows and view; they also partied alnight whilst drinking!

The people were welcoming, awesome and friendly :-) It has clean facilities. The accomodation is very tourist friendly and has everything you need. The food is delish. The shows are very cultural and fun to watch. The sea view has a wonderful and relaxing effect on you. Combine all of this and your guarenteed a fantastic relaxing time in Tonga and well worth the stay :-)

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Lifts were Ok when we needed them.

Sometimes lack of hotwater. Resort activities were lacking, E.G. canoes, wind surfing, snorkelling on reef would have good.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Really tasty food at the restaurant.

Location, Staff and Entertaimment. Very friendly and helpful without being pushy. Location allowed us to watch wales a few times directly out front of the resort and the water is so clean. Entertainment covering Tongan dances, food and culture also made the sta memorable.

While some of the food is very good but meals sometimes can can be very average. Not unhealthy but under or over cooked. I was relaxing so it did not detract from a wonderful stay.

A great spot, and nice fale'S. I did not have a kettle of a tv as advertised and paid for. I asked for a kettle but did not bother about the tv. Treetop bar and restaurant is very nice, a great place to enjoy the serenity and a couple of quiets.

It is about an hour from the airport, so this needs to be factored into travel plans.

Superb friendly service

Let dow a little by a few things that didn't work. TV remoote had flat battery. Even when I put my own battery in we could get no reception. Bedside light didn't work. We needed a torch to read by - unless we read in the toilet.

Peaceful, Serene, friendly staff, tidal pool

1. Totally overpriced for what they offer 2. No sandy beach at all 3. Very, very slow service with meals, waited up to 1 hr 10 min for food 4. Very basic equipment - only 2 cups, 2 saucers and 2 teaspoons, a kettle and a fridge - nothing else, no coffee/tea/milk provided

Es gibt keinen Sandstrand. Nur Felsen, Unmöglich dieses Hotel als Strandhotel anzubieten !!!!!!!

Friendly staff.

Det enorm venlige personale. din mulighed som rejsende at passe dig selv, hvis det var det du ønskede. Alt i alt et meget venligt personale, som kun skal have min store ros. Deres menu kort er meget alsidig, du behøves ikke spise det samme to dage i træk.

Den eneste fejl var, at det ligger for langt fra hovedstaden. Stranden kunne godt være lidt bedre, men det er som man selv ønsker.

Once we got there, the location is lovely and the resort had a very relaxed feel about it, staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach Fale was perfect for what were wanting, with a great Balcony area for breakfast and dinner.

It did take 40+ mins to get there from the Airport on a very bumpy road full of pot holes, transfers were pricey, resort had a limited menu for meals and it was quite remote so you couldn't go anywhere else for meals. Not a very big wine selection!!! There could of been more sun lounges to use, some of the resort was quite dated. Definitely no more than 3 stars.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good place to go for a Tongan cultural experience.

Would be good to have some cultural activities during te day e.g. learning to weave, dance etc.

Loved this resort - staff friendly and helpful and fales set in beautiful tropical gardens with a bar/restaurant overlooking the sea.

The only negative was that we were told that the pickup and drop off from the airport was complimentary, but the driver chased us for payment one way and the other way it was added to my credit card. They should not charge for something they have said is free or at least be upfront about the charge.
