Little Italy Hotel  

La cortesia e la disponibilità dell'intero staff , il tutto, condito con sorrisi. La gentilezza del proprietario e di sua moglie, gli ottimi spaghetti con le vongole (cucinati come in Italia, con l'aggiunta delle ottime vongole Tongane), ottima tutta la cucina. Sembra di essere a casa. Unico neo, l'assenza dei proprietari al momento della nostra partenza, che avremmo voluto salutare di persona.

The hotel is the best in Tonga. Its clean, well organised & presented. We had dinner downstairs and the food is delicious, really yummy.

The booking facilities are not user friendly especially with other requests. The staff really need to communicate the truth to clients rather then lie to make more money!

The staff were consistently helpful and friendly. I didn't feel like I was being ripped-off at any point.

It was a little far out of town (approx. 20 min walk). This can get a bit tedious in the heat. Otherwise no complaints!

very friendly staff, offer us upgrade of better view rooms for whole group, very nice food-Italian cuisine, super size pizza hahaha, omg must stay; close to town location very good :)

From check in to check out everything was excellent

The room was basic very comfortable and clean it had the tea and coffee facilities hair dryer and air con. The bed was kingsize and clean. The staff were helpful and the resturant had good food. Breakfast was included and there was plenty to choose from. I would stay there again

The lack of an elevator and the lock on the door was tricky to open.

I like this Hotel first the sea view much fresh air especially the weather was so hot and i feel cool fresh air from the beach and upstairs our room was good.

Yes something i did'nt like about this Hotel because its a bit expensive and different information when you booking on line,then you arrive is different when you check out is a big shock should be rich people to go there.

The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great; the view across the sea was lovely.

The room was very small and quite noisy from other rooms and the restaurant below.

After a week in Rome the week before, the Little Italy Hotel, was Italian gourmet with a Polynesian touch and hospitality. Right beside the sea - the sea breeze and the tropical quietness was a huge contrast to my hotel room in Rome.

The moment we walked in there and to be greeted by a friendly and a smiling face really set the tone. We loved the friendly atmosphere. The owner and the staff were very helpful and attentative at all times. The room is kept clean everyday fresh clean towels provided as well. The wonderful owner offered us an Ocean View room for free at no extra cost and we were humbled by their kind gesture. Continental Buffet breakfast every morning is never to be missed. Fresh food, fresh fruits and fresh fruit juice. Food served at the restaurant are absolutley delicious, a compliment to the chef himself. Will definitely stay at Little Italy for all our future trips into Tonga. Thank you to the owner Angelo & Meleseini Crapanzano for your kind hospitality and also to all the friendly staff Manase, Veisinia and rest of the crew.

There is nothing at Little Italy Hotel that we didn't like. We loved every minute of it during our stay there.

The staff were amazing, They were so helpful and smiley. They made us love Tonga & we definitely want to go back. The view was also wonderful from the room. The food in the restuarant was delicious. Nothing was a problem for this hotel, even when we needed to make changes to our booking or organise transfers etc, the staff took care of everything.

Very friendly staff and most helpful, very easy to hire a car through the hotel, very good selection for breakfast. Great owners who could not do enough for us.

The Little Italy Hotel was one of our stops on the way to Vava'U. We found the hotel staff to be absolutely wonderful ~ always smiling and they genuinely cared about our happiness. If we needed anything at all, they responded immediately. Our room was crisp and clean and the plumbing, contrary to other reviews, was perfect. The restaurant was fabulous - the food was delicious (try the Polynesian lobster!!) and the pool, even though a bit small, was fresh & cold. The Hotel is only a short walk from town. They provided a shuttle from the airport from one of the staff who gave us heaps of information on the history on the Tongan people as well as what life is like there now ~ he never tired of our many questions! I'd highly recommend Little Italy ~ they have not forgotten what Customer Service is really all about and I'd absolutely stay there again!

Our first happy surprise were the pleasant faces that greeted us on our arrival in Tongatapu. The staff was unfailingly friendly and courteous, helpful, hospitable, and genuinely caring about our comfort during our stay. The food served, both at the continental breakfast and for evening dining was superb, beautifully presented, tasty and with a wide range of choices to suit all tastes. The view from our ocean-front room was lovely morning and evening. The room was comfortable, with or without air conditioning and sparkling clean.

In Tonga , Little Italy is a magical little spot overlooking the ocean
