Little far from main road, closed roof but i think it was temporary
Friendly and helpful staff, great location, very nice breakfast, very good value.
Wifi was a bit slow.
cleaniness breakfast staff being too nosy
The breakfast more options
I liked the room, breakfast, staff, and the location.
Water isn't too hot in the morning.
Amazing staff, they were very helpful and polite. perfect location. clean hotel and comfortable room. It was my first visit to Istanbul, and I would prefer to stay in Acra hotel next time.
quiet hotel, compfy beds and pillows, rooms designed away from the typical heavy ottoman style, pleasant room temparature (winter season) extrelemely nice staff, friendly sitting area at the lobby with complimentary cookies and tea at all hours
the pictures on the website are exaggerated , bathrooms deserve maintenance, breakfast - not so rich
Excellent location, close to most of sightseeing places. Serkan, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Value for money is very good. Good breakfast, but should have more variety.
staff extremely helpful, room very comfortable, and location perfect for all historical sights.
the breakfast was not particularly my taste, but was adequate.
Perfect location, excellent breakfast, nice staff.
Great location, comfortable rooms, polite and helpful staff, tasty and with variety breakfast
Rooms not well soundproofed
Everything was brilliant, the room, the guys at the reception, the Turkish coffee, I would definitely stay there again.
Mr younis was the best
Beautifully located in a quiet part of the old city only a couple of hundred meters from Blue Mosque ans Hagia Sophia. Nice traditional breakfast served. Specious room with views on both mosques from two windows.
Can't find anything.
Me and my wife loved the stay at Acra hotel. The staff is very very helpful and they will try their best to accommodate your request. The location is excellent and the ambiance around the hotel is lovely. The street next to the hotel lits up in the evening with excellent food yet the environment is very calm and peaceful. The hotel is situated at about 5 minutes walk to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia which is always buzzing with tourists. You can visit all the attractions easily by foot and come back and rest in a very peaceful environment.
The terrace is located in the next building which is a partner hotel. It would have been nice if this building could have its own terrace as well.
Location and the staff ..
The location is brilliant; the old city (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace) is a short walk from the hotel. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. We stayed two nights a week apart. Our first was very comfortable and the hotel gave us breakfast when our tour bus was leaving at 6.30am well before the restaurant was open. Our second night was in response to our plea for help when having joined into a bigger group, another hotel left us the 6 of us stranded. We really wished that this was our Istanbul hotel because of their service ethic. The breakfast on both occasions was excellent too. Being built on a palace ruin was interesting also. Wifi was reliable. English television stations.
My second bed was a bit old and suffered from being the one in a family room that people sat on, so it has a definite bend and was squeaky.
Good location and friendly staff . Breakfast was nice. They provided a complimentary breakfast because we reached early. Walkable distance to major attraction in sultanahmet . Many good restaurants nearby
The tram station is little far from hotel Bathroom very congested .
Staff were friendly and helpful, great location but being slightly off the main streets, it was quiet at night.
After 8 nights, the breakfast could have had more variety
Staff was great, very helpful. Younus in particular was very welcoming
Tv channels were mostly in turkish. Could use more english entertainment channels
Location is in the heart of the historical section of Istanbul, a few feet from Aya Sofia and Sultanahmet Mosque. Great staff and excellent service.. Rich breakfast with many varieties. I stayed there in 2012 and stayed again in 2014 and will definitely stay there during my next visit to this amazingly beautiful city.
Good location in the old city. Excellent, responsive front desk staff. Building is lovely, room & bathroom ample size & comfortable
Went thru Booking.com & got their confirmation, but did not receive a confirmation from hotel (whereas all other hotels confirmed directly which also provided direct communication info if needed). Hotel did not respond to two subsequent requests -for twin beds & airport shuttle service, leaving us in the dark. Breakfast provided good selection but cooked dishes (eggs, etc) consistently cold.
Cozy, quiet, neat and stylish hotel and rooms - perfect for a short stay. Stylish and classy. Lobby has complimentary tea and coffee at 6 PM. Generous amount of toiletries and tea/coffee in the tea corner. Small balcony on one end and another window at the other end of the room provides a good feeling of space and air. Ms. Ozlem who was very courteous in calling us when we made online booking to clarify our ques and to give 100% accurate info on what to expect or not. She was prompt and helpful in coordinating in emails too. Upon meeting her, it was like meeting family - she was very warm and hospitable and helped us with directions and sightseeing ideas. We were allowed to do late check-out. They had ample variety in their breakfast and changed few of the dishes everyday during our 3-days stay. Hotel has historical ruins of the grand palace in their basement - interesting. Hotel staff were helpful with providing directions, 2-pin adapter, showing us the Qiblah, the way to open the balcony door like a window.
No good view at all - from room in basement floor (-1 floor, room 105). Terribly cranky single bed and even worse was the sofa bed. Double bed was perfectly fine. Noisy area because it overlooks a fish restaurant with diners dining till late. No clock. No Qiblah direction mentioned anywhere, however the staff did help when asked.
Good location, breakfast and room.
WiFi is quite slow There is a advertised roof terrace which is no where to be found. With all its fairness they said "" it is on the adjacent hotel" and it is there but not open for public. sometimes slow room service
Helpful reception staff
Bad attitude in restaurant, poor breakfast, lots of flys during breakfast, food is not covered, very poor wireless,
