Nice and friendly hotel, very close to historical monuments. The tram station is very close to the hotel if you want to go to the other side of the city. A bit noisy at night because of the nearby restaurants, but with closed windows it was ok.

Hotel Agan is perfectly situated close to restaurants and cafes, transport, and major tourists sites (the Blue Mosque, Haigha Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Museums etc). The staff are young and helpful, and the attached restaurant (although very pricey) serves excellent food. Even if you just stop for a drink before finding somewhere else to eat locally it's a relaxing place to watch others pass by. The benefit of having restaurants and bars close by is that the noise keeps going after you've stoped. It wasn't enough to bother us, but if you were light sleeper it may be an issue. The 'enthusiasm' of the staff at the restaurant was often so lacking in sincerity that it made us wince.

Clean,the team is friendly, in the middle of the old city 5 min.walk to aya sofia, 10 min. Walk to grand bazzar, 5 min. Walk to the sea side., Breakfast ist so delicious, the tram station was 2 min walk from the hotel, the room was cleaned every day, internet wirless was free and fast. Alot of restaurants near the hotel but you better ask about the prices first ( you'll find a menu with the prices infront of the door of the most restaurants in istanbul).

The staff is very friendly and knows well the surroundings. Rooms are regularly cleaned. Nice view from the higher floors. Some of the guys don't speak english, a bit loud during the night. But hey, you'll have time to sleep when you get back home!

I booked a double room but I got a suite with a Jacuzzi which was great!!! The hotel stuff was really really friendly. The breakfast was very delicious and there was a variety. It is very very close to Gulhane tram station, but it was also in a quite street. The room was cleaned everyday. Also, the sheets and the towels were changed every day! In addition, you can get a free cup of the or coffee in the afternoon and the reception was available 24 hours a day. I recommend this hotel and i would stay there again.

The staff, food and service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty in suggesting points of interest, tours, and even did an outstanding job of setting up a golf reservation plus transportation at a local golf course. Would definitely tell everyone I know that this is one of the best values in Istanbul. Rooms were quite small, but not out of line with it being in the Europe experience.

The location was good and the restaurant was nice Had to be careful about confirming everything due to misunderstandings - this could have been a language problem but we had to make sure all arrangements - travel, rooms etc. were in writing.

We Stayed at hotel Agan for 5 nights staff was very nice and helped us with all are questions and room was very clean house keeping came everyday and cleaned room and provided new sheets and towels. Excellent location as within walking distance to all the site in old Istanbul and tram. Large breakfast with lots of options. Overall great city and great hotel for price The only thing is that it can get loud at night as there is some construction happening close to hotel and the ac also didnt work in are room
