This is a wonderful hotel in the old quarter of Istanbul. Very convenient for all the mosques and palaces. The owners speak english and are very helpful We had room 12 and had a lovely balcony with views of the Bosperus and the Blue Mosque. My Wife is allergic to wheat and the hotel owner accompanied us to two restaurants and explained this to the staff. A superb holiday in a lovely hotel. |

The staff.... amazing, they really make you feel at home. They spend a lot of time giving us ideas and recommendations, we tried several restaurants and attractions they recommended and it was just great, specially those small places that are totally off the tourist route. |

Superior location, even though most taxi drivers are having problems findind it. When driving to hotel with no luggage, just name Arasta Bazaar to taxi driver, and then walk downhill 150m. There is no much action on the streets near hotel, thus it's very quiet. Reasonably comfortable rooms (we got "large" family room), IKEA furnished, very clean. Breakfast could have more local specialities - those bite-sized pastry, etc. |

Excellent correlation between price/quality. Good location (just up to 10 minutes to the main Sultanahmet area sights), really very turkish place with residents living just across the street. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms. As for the internet-edict wi-fi in the room could be the main bettering. Breakfast could be more rich (fruits, more choice of cheeses, etc). Everything else is impeccable. |

Very friendly, caring and helpful staff. The welcome talk was informative and useful and helped us decide where to go/what to do and plan our days to make best use of time. Quiet area yet only 10 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Aghia Sophia etc. Free upgrade to family rooms was much appreciated. We will definitely be back (soon we hope) and look forward to staying at same hotel again. |

The hotel itself was very nice, surrounding houses much worse, comfortable and clean rooms, nice breakfast, people from the hotel speak good english and are very helpfull to inform you where to go. Location is good, near blue mosque, tiny streets a bit deserted but did not feel unsafe at night. I arrived with public transport (light train+tram) to the hotel and the last part (walking) was very hard to find at first, but when you know how to walk it's really easy and just 5 min from the blue mosque. We arrived, were a bit tired and got a lecture from the hotel manager which was nice but a bit to long (over 1 hour). bit expensive for the area. |

the fact the hotel was in the centre of the historic part of Istanbul and close to all important monuments and the kindness and availability of the hotel staff, when you arrive you get a nice presentation of Istanbul and they help you by organising your stay. Also very good breakfast! room a bit too small |
