Nice cozy place. I recommend it for someone who is looking for a lot of advice on what to do locally. The owner is lovely and incredibly helpfull. Staff could be seen as a bit too helpful I you really want to do your own thing and aren't interested in someone's recommendations.

The staff were just wonderful and went out of their way to be courteous, meet my needs and answer my questions. The location was fabulous - close to everything in Sultanahmet but just far away enough to feel relaxed and quieter. The price was extremely reasonable and the room very comfortable. There were two things that would have made my stay better - one, if there was hot water/tea/coffee/bottled water available all the time, even if it had to be purchased, that would have been very much appreciated (when I asked for tea, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff); two, I wish there was an outdoor place to sit and relax to talk with other guests and staff.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel (more like an inn or b&b) is worth the time. My wife and I have traveled the globe, but this hotel stands up above the rest as the most hospitable place we have ever stayed. The owner Medhi is extremely welcoming and courteous and Yusuf, who manages the day-to-day is the kindest and most helpful person. The inn is located on a quiet street in the main 'tourist' district, although it feels like a world away from the busloads of people who descend upon the area each day. The breakfast is delicious and fresh and Yusuf teaches you how to make the most delicious bread dip (tastes like refined peanut butter and jellly!). The beds were super comfortable, especially after long days of walking around Istanbul. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were spacious and we felt extremely safe. We only spent 5 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!

Really liked the friendly staff who made the extra effort to make you feel welcome at all times. Room is small with no place to keep a larger suitcase during our stay without stubling across it all the time. No big deal though.

The hotel manager gave good advice about restaurants and places to visit. It is a little bit farther from the tram stop than other hotels. You have to walk a bit farther. However, once you are there you will appreciate the super old world feel of the street. It isn't a sterile tourist street like the one parallel. It isn't really a negative, it just means you have to walk another 100 meters.

Firmly renovated old ottoman house with beautiful decoration. Confortable rooms, friendly staff. Fluently speaking Turkish, English and French. Good breakfast, unlimited tea and coffee. Very well located and few minutes to walk to historical peninsula. I highly recommend to all. No smoking :)

Surprisingly charming small hotel in a scarily colorful neighborhood, actually well-served, a 5-10 minutes walk from Sultanhamet Square (Blue Mosque, Ayasofia, tramway stop). Really, really cute at a low price, and the staff proved - more than kind - genuinely helpful! Shower tends to flood bathroom (have rubber slippers). The Turkish bath they suggested us (a business partner) was a disappointment. Also, nightlife in the immediate neighborhood is limited to kitsch tourist- only venues. Remember you've got to pay in cash (Euros ok)!

A very warm and personal welcome. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was outstandingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay and really put themselves out with practical advice, including new year's eve restaurant and taxi bookings at short notice.

The hotel has a great location as it is just around ten minutes walking distance to the most historical places and also the tram station. Its simple rooms were so clean and that is what I liked more in this hotel. The variety of the breakfast could be better improved. Be aware that the hotel policy stated that families with children younger than four years old are not welcomed at this hotel.

The hotel has a very good position, not more than 5 minutes walking to Sultanahmet. It is very comfortable, the rooms are very clean. The hotel has a very good position, not more than 5 minutes walking to Sultanahmet. It is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean; towels are changed every day. What is very important is that the staff is great and they speak very well English. When you arrive they will present you a little bit the city and where it is ok to go and you can ask them for help whenever you need. The breakfast is basic, the same every day but you can find something to eat.I Can say that you will feel like in a family. The hotel is very nice decorated and even the smell will introduce you in the atmosphere of Istanbul.I Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The bathroom is very small and if you want to take a shower the entire floor will be full of water because the shower cabin it's closed only with a curtain.

The staff was really decent and generous. I felt at home very much. The room was completely clean. The location was within a 5-10 minutes walk distance from the blue mosque and a train station. The circumstance was quiet because few tourists were walking around. I could not use the wireless LAN at the 2nd floor (European "2nd" floor).

This is a lovely little boutique hotel at a really great price. The staff is small and therefore a really personal service. We arrived after a hellish overnight bus experience, and were given a family room with two double beds instead of the twin we booked out of sympathy! Was very kind. Breakfast was lovely, one of the best buffets we had in Turkey. The hotel was faultless really and both my friend and I will be recommending it to friends and family.

The Hotel staff are extremely nice and friendly. Yes it is subjective but be assured they will be trying to help you in any way they can. The hotel itself is a nice, out of the hustle of Istanbul, you can peacefully relax after long day of sightseeing walks Nothing, however perhaps the hotel reception can have a dedicated and manned security at night time. In most case, it may not be needed if you need not to step out after midnight.
