The hotel is a great value, the breakfast is delicious, and the service is wonderful. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and really cared that guests enjoyed their stay in Istanbul, the local information and recommendations were very useful. The location is excellent near all the sights and the tram line, there was a nice view from the room. Breakfast was good with Turkish specialities.

The room is quite small and at the top of some steep stairs that may trouble elderly guests.

Close proximity to many of the important historic sites in Istanbul. Gracious hospitality of the owners, Mehdi and Gonul. Being a guest in this hotel is like being a guest in a small well run international private club. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. When we returned to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing we were always welcomed and offered tea, coffee or other refreshments. The staff was always ready and willing to suggest little known but interesting places to visit and to help make dinner arrangements. We were extremely pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Shower outlet was partly blocked and would not drain properly, resulting in a strong odour in bathroom.

It was a lovely hotel with very gracious hosts. It was also clean, and the breakfast was yummy.

Many hotels have breakfast on a rooftop terrace in this area, but unfortunately, the breakfast was served inside.

Very friendly staff. Room - although not big - was very clean, tidy, quiet and air-conditioned. Excellent location only 7 minutes walk from Sultanahmet, and even closer to what proved excellent restaurants. Thoroughly recommended to couples or individuals looking for a city-break location.

Nothing - it was very good value!

Perfect location in a quite and a cosy street in Sultahnamet. The owner and staff were just brilliant. Their advises about the sightseeings and the local restaurants were perfect. Excellent customer service and hospitality. Tesekürler!

Nothing that can be avoided in Istanbul with more than 2000 mosques. The "call" for the prays can be heard sometimes.

The location is perfect - trip from the airport takes less then 30 min, most of the attractions are easily accessible on foot. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - we have recieved very good city overview and tips for the sightseeing and food upon our arrival.

No problems for us during our stay. However if staying on an upper floor, some people might find it difficult to climb the steep stairs and getting heavy luggage up there will be quite hard. Breakfast starts at 8.30 which can be a bit late for early-risers.

The staff are very friendly. The Location of the hotel is very strategic.

A little bit noisy

The staff.... amazing, they really make you feel at home. They spend a lot of time giving us ideas and recommendations, we tried several restaurants and attractions they recommended and it was just great, specially those small places that are totally off the tourist route.

Excellent correlation between price/quality. Good location (just up to 10 minutes to the main Sultanahmet area sights), really very turkish place with residents living just across the street. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

As for the internet-edict wi-fi in the room could be the main bettering. Breakfast could be more rich (fruits, more choice of cheeses, etc). Everything else is impeccable.
