no wifi no frigobar
Just a few steps away from the beach, with cushions provided for the beach loungers.
Breakfast was crawling with flies (open air buffet), very scratchy sheets and hard bed, poor wifi in our room
Simsek was a great location; the sunset from our room was extraordinary! The room was clean, breakfast was fresh, husband & wife were spectacular people & so helpful.
Good located hotel in Fethiye, near to sea and to entertainment agencies for some boat trips diving and so on... Personnel was okay even if they are not all the time in the reception.
Nothing special. I just recommend people who are going to stay in this hotel to stay in the rooms who have street view side because the seaside rooms are a bit noisy because of street bars on the beach.
Location is really good, which near the Calis beach. And the beatiful sea sight could be seen on the balcony.
wifi could not use in the room
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is right over the street. Shops, tour agencies and restaurants are nearby.
Hotel needs rennovation. No wi-fi in rooms. Nobody at the reception desk - better take your key with or you'll have to wait. Our first room had broken shower, broken bathroom door and sheets with stains on them. Got the room changed on first demand though. If you leave wet towel or clothes on the furniture, it will leave a stain. Furniture seems to be hand-made, but not so good. Noisy at night (not the hotel's fault). I'm surprised to see such high score (8.2 when we were booking) for this hotel. It's not that bad, it's just cheap, but it is definitely not excellent.
Dear travellers, this hotel is really horrible. I have no idea who is writing good reviews. First of all, room is very old with no renovation, furniture is going to brake soon. When we arrived there was no mini bar in the room and small tv, not LED as described here. Its always noisy inside of hotel because of children and relatives of owner. Foreigners will feel non-comfortable. If you dont speak Turkish you couldnt communicate to bar and cleaning stuff. When we checked in, room was dirty, everywhere sand, hairs, T-shirt in the shower of previous stayers, used plasters. HORRIBLE!!! Room was the last 4th floor, of course there is no Wi-Fi. There is always a smell like in Soviet Union canteen inside of hotel when they cook breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very poor, bread, butter, cheapest cheese and sausage, jam, watermelon. 2 kinds of coffee, tea and water. Thats all. You can reach to city centre approx. 20 mins by minibus. There is only public beach, one sunbed costs 5TL (2.5$), umbrella the same price. Beach is dirty. I strongly dont recommend this hotel and Calis place in Fethiye, losted money and time.
The location of the hotel is perfect - literally steps from the beach and a whole range of restaurants! It was a wonderful relaxing stay. Our room had a view of the sea which was a bonus!
We found that the restaurant lacked a bit of cleanliness. Often the tables were dirty, either not wiped clean or stains on the tablecloths. A chair in the room would have been nice as well.
Nice location in front of th beach. .. friendly stuff and onwer. Very close the market and the boats.
Nothing really... just no Internet in the room. Only if you go the dining area.
Great breakfast, helpful staff, extremely clean, ideal location and unobstructed ocean views
No wifi in room...only in reception and restaurant.
The staff has been extremely helpful. There was a problem with my reservation and they did all they could so I wouldn't lose money. I even forgot the key of the room in my pocket the morning of my departure and a member of the staff was kind enough to drive to an intersection where my bus was passing to pick it up. The diner was nice, huge, affordable and had some variety. It was very clean and comfy. I would definitly recommend if you have to stay in Calis Plaji. Thank you Simsek !
It is not the hotel's fault, in the summer the rooms on the street side can be extremely noisy because of the very loud clubs for tourists in the area. I couldn't sleep with open window. I guess it's probably quieter on the beach side.
Everything is awesome , 100% recommended
The staff particularly the men were friendly and helpful. The Turkish breakfast plentiful. Maids cleaned the room daily and were polite. I LOVED the new lift.
The room descriptions were not really accurate. My booking said the room had flat screen TV and a mini bar. There were none of these. The old-fashioned small heavy TV had only one programme in English; BBC World News service. The staff spoke very little basic English, and at breakfast it was noticeably obvious that some Turkish guests were given special service.
Rooms spotlessly clean with ample storage with free air con. On the downside it did say on booking.com that there was a mini bar in the room but there wasnt and the wifi didnt reach my room. But wifi good around hotel and even went as far as the beach out front. Owners and staff all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends and would come back again myself
Nothing comes to mind
