Akar Pension is situated in Ihlara Valley with a stone built structure. Its comfortable rooms include free Wi-Fi and a private balcony with scenic views of Mount Hasan. The rooms are soundproofed and come with mosquito nets and carpeted floors. They all feature a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and a toilet. The à la carte restaurant serves Turkish cuisine and local delicacies. Guests can have fish, chicken meat or vegetarian food. There is also a café and an on-site grocery at Pension Akar. The pension is only 500 metres from the local bazaar place. Nigde Airport is within 60 km. Akar Pension was a nice, friendly place to stay. Room was adequate, breakfast fine, staff friendly. Reasonably priced. Wi-fi available, which is always good.

My husband and myself had a wonderful trip in Turkey during the month of May 2012. In Ihlara/Capadocia, we stayed at the very well run pension Akar. Despite its first appearance as a simple motel, it has large rooms simple but clean, and large bathrooms with plenty hot water, so enjoyable after a day of hiking. The restaurant is wonderful as it serves fresh food prepared on he spot: grilled poultry, trout and with a variety of vegetable, and Capadocia wine at very reasonable price. The host, who knows English, is very welcoming to share iocal information and accommodates tourists with transport to and from Selime , Ilhlara and Bellisirma the three points of access to the Ihlara Valey. We greatly recommend this pension; it is a very good value and service. If presented with choice, we would choose this pension over any of the three star hotels.

Grande chambre et grande salle d'eau Nous ont mis le chauffage spécialement pour nous. Se sont mis en 4 pour faire fonctionner la Wifi. Adresse idéale pour qui veut visiter la vallée d'Ihlara Personnel charmant mais uniquement masculin

la gentillesse et le professionalisme de l'équipe; l'accueil et la vigilance à répondre à nos questions multiples sur les sites touristiques de la région, sur comment s'y rendre etc...L'oncle -homme à tout faire- m'a surpris par ses nombreux talents: de la cuisine comme chef, du guide touristique, du préposé à l'accueil...vraiment très apprécié quand on arrive à ce gite.

Odalar ve banyo yeterince büyük. Konum olarak yakınlarında ciddi bir yerleşim yeri olmadığından sosyal ihtiyaçlara cevap veremiyor. Akşamları aşırı ıssız. Odaların giriş kapıları alçak olduğundan başınızı çarpabilirsiniz. Hava soğukta olsa kalorifer yanmıyor. Kredi kartı geçmiyor. İnternet çok yavaş ve yetersiz. Kahvaltı kalitesiz malzemelerden ve çok zayıf. Otelin resepsiyonu yok. Telefonla aradığınızda ulaşamayabilirsiniz.

Pension située à 2km de l'entrée de la vallée d'Ilhara. Chambre très calme, propre et fraiche malgré la chaleur extérieure. Un petit restaurant excellent et très bon marché est également disponible sur place.

Lo staff e' davvero gentile e si mettono a completa disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. La cucina offre pochi piatti ma molto buoni e saporiti, a prezzi accettabilissimi. Merita visitare la Valle di Ihlara e I dintorni, cosi' da vedere una parte di cappadocia ancora non presa da assalto dai turisti. Di fronte all'albergo si trova la fermata dell'autobus che serve per raggiungere le principali mete circostanti.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Nette, ruime kamer en badkamer. Degelijke matrassen. Lekkere maaltijden aan zeer schappelijke prijzen, lokale keuken. Flexibele uren voor de maaltijden. De eigenaar kan ook voor transport zorgen van/naar de Ihlara canyon, zodat men niet naar het vertrekpunt hoeft terug te keren maar de canyon kan doorlopen van begin tot einde (of tot halverwege), en dit tegen schappelijke prijs. Handig gelegen aan bushalte voor wie met openbaar vervoer komt.

Se avete intenzione di soggiornare nella valle di ihlara, fermatevi in questa pensione Akar e tutto il suo staff (due persone) vi coccoleranno preparndovi un'ottima cena e colazione.. pranzo al sacco e tutto quello che vi occorre. Condizioni della camera eccellente e molto spaziosa.
