Firstly, the hotel room would have been 515 TL instead of the 1,000 I paid in advance on Booking. Better to get when there. Nothing at all of interest. Even the only attraction, the 25 minute boat ride, was only 15 minutes including setting off and tying up. No beach. No reason to be in Mersin. I ate the normal shish meal I often get but here the chicken still had bones in it!

Mersin is not a touristic place. No sightseeings at all.
Mersin is not a touristic place. No sightseeings at all. Only the long embankment is beautiful. We stood in this city only because we need an intermediate stop from Kappadokia to Antalya. However there are a lot of interesting places along the road to Antalya. But nothing in the city. Also difficult to find a good restaurant (we finally did).

I loved the location, the food, being able to eat dinner with the ocean right at your table. Very nice staff. Reasonable price, We had visited Tarsus and Cap Tarsin >>able to relax eating in a nice setting next to the ocean

Their staff in general were very kind to us and helpful during our stay, especially Soltan, Burak, and Kaan. They gave us a newly renovated room on our arrival which was beautiful and had an amazing view. You can walk alongside the ocean from the gate of the hotel where you can find beautiful green parks with kiosks that sell tea, corn and chestnuts, that you can grab and eat on the benches on the beach. Across the street from the hotel you will find lovely cafes and restaurants.VadarIraq
