Akol Hotel  

Spacious room with double bed, small coffee-table and two chairs. Balcony overlooking the waterfront in Cannakale. A complimentary fruit selection was provided on arrival.

The breakfast selection was rather monotonous and unappetising. The common areas (staircase and corridor) reeked of garlic. No possibility of having a window open at night for fresh air.

A centrally located hotel with a wonderful sea view...It is right on the centre of Canakkale which is close to the shopping centre and the main ferry port... We were given an excellent service everywhere in this hotel by a very friendly, smiling staff. Breakfast was particularly rich, plenty and tasty...Rooms must have been recently renovated as our room was spotless ( very important for my wife as she is one those cleaning freaks !! ) and our bed was very comfortable. Free wireless on every floor does also help !! We'll be back and definitely stay at this hotel again...Many thanks !

The best hotel in the area, ideally placed for Gallipoli and Troy. The staff are a delight and the facilities work.

The restaurants are not too good but the one next door is great.

Good location right on the waterfront.

The food was second rate, the bathtub did not drain properly and the staff didn't fix it when we told them about it, and except for the young lady working reception and the maids, the staff were matter-of-fact, not overly friendly or cheerful about serving. The pool was useless - no furniture to sit on, just a pool on a roof surrounded by cement walls. I'd say this is a 3* wanna be not a 4*.

Clean comfortable rooms, good location and view, good breakfast, professional staff.

Bon hotel, deco un peu vieillotte mais personnel super sympa et bon emplacement. les lits sont confortables et les chambres spacieuses. le wifi fonctionne dans les chambres et le petit dej est sympa.
