Staff are extremely polite and very helpful. They arranged our tour and balloon trip and we paid after enjoying the services. Front yard is beautiful with nice view.

We were given a room for four which backed to an alley. Very noisy neighbours, smell of gas and burned gas oil in the room. This room (307) needs an air conditioner. It is very hot in the room.

We have been completely satisfied with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in July 2014. The rooms are clean and the environment is cozy and calming. The hotel is built in the centre of the town and it offers parking facility, Finally and most important, the staff is extremely helpful and kind and we owe some special thanks to Musa for all his help with our car!

Mr. Musa was helpful even before I arrived at the hotel. He organized everything according to my needs, guide me correct places and help me with other stuff. the room was good with a nice cable tv. my bed sheets and towels were changed everyday. the location is also great just 100m from the city centre and close to all amenities.

It was my bad luck to stay at the same time with a women tour group who couldn't help making noises but other than that there was nothing wrong with this hotel.

We got the family room because we asked for a tub. The room was spacious and quiet. Proximity to downtown and free parking are also pluses. good turkish style breakfast plus boiled eggs.

Rooms are very dimly lit - 25 watt lights throughout. Bathroom so dark we bought a 60 watt bulb and replaced it. A previous review of this hotel mentioned the lighting and the owner replied that the bulbs were replaced but in fact they were not. Nice to have a tub for a change but only tepid water for baths.

The hotel building looks very nice, with interesting details in interior representing local life. The garden is really charming! Hospitality is undoubted, as well as excellent position near city centre.

Excellent and helpful staff and manager. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Comfortable room, even if the bed was too soft.

Limited amenities in the room. Very little space to put 2 suitcases. Why use 25 watt bulbs to light the room and the bathroom? I could not see my face to shave!

The staff were all very friendly and really helpful. The premises is very nice, has free parking on site and we enjoyed breakfast in the garden. Our room was cool enough even without air-conditioning, as it was constructed like a cave, with few windows.

The room was not secure at all, and had no security box for our valuables, though in reality this was not an issue in the area. The staff had to be vigilant at night to keep wild dogs away from the hotel as they barked throughout the night.

This is the fifth time I have returned to this wonderful hotel. It is so absolutely divinely peaceful though being tucked only a few blocks from center city. The staff is super wonderful. The breakfast is Turkish and delightful. The rooms are immaculately clean, nicely designed, spacious, culturally sensitive and quiet. Their terrace on the third floor is a wonderful place to visit or relax while looking at the spires and rock dwellings. There are some rooms (double beds) with balconies which offer a private setting to an already wonderful room. The gardens are very special. They are private and spacious, offering a location to have breakfast, during good weather, lounge around, or simply have a good read. The entire hotel is covered in beautiful traditional rugs and cultural artifacts which invite one to think of Turkey's amazing cultures and art. Everything is walking distance to great food, transportation, treats, grocery/fruit vendors. You will not be disappointed! The town of Urgup is wonderful. It is not filled with touristic hype, is peaceful and offers many spire and rock dwelling venues to visit either on foot or by car.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this hotel.
