location and decoration..
lights!! of the room.. no proper mirror..
Loved the old building so romantic enjoyed the food overall good experience
Bathroom smelled bad almost always
We had these rooms at what must have been a significant discount as it was off season. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was in a good spot. The surroundings were relaxing. Lots to choose from the breakfast buffet. I regret not using the Jacuzzi.
My room was located next to an extractor fan of some kind and you could hear it very clearly sometimes. Although the breakfast buffet was wide ranging and pretty good, the buffet tea was poor by British standards and the buffet coffee was the worst i've ever tasted. So bad me and a couple of other guests had to debate what it actually was one morning.
Central location Cheap price Friendliness of staff
Room damp Buffet breakfast a bit mass produced with appalling coffee The old town has been turned into a tourist museum
Loved the front courtyard garden, the rear garden with the antiquities and the seating area in front of the hotel with the Roman road ( under glass and illuminated) and the orange trees. Ottoman artifacts everywhere and generally beautiful design.
Menu was a very pricey ( though buffet good value though looked like more for than we could have eaten). A shame because we would have loved to have eaten there as the ambience was magical. Flight too early for breakfast so can't comment on that, but given " lunchbox" which was very poor: "spam" sandwich in not nice roll with a golden delicious ( ie horrible) apple. They could do much better on that front ( eg muesli and fruit pot or sandwich with nice cheese on good bread)
extremely friendly stuff excellent location characterful luxurious mansion
after the new guesthouses now too much guests for the breakfast area drinks are really expensive
bellboy and housekeeper was so cute. Location is excellent
Perfect location to explore Antalya old town. The hotel, including the rooms are beautifully designed in Otoman style. Average breakfast.
Our check-in turned into a very confusing process, demanding a lot of time and patience from us. My room was not available at 5 pm when we reached the hotel. It was said we should wait a little bit more as they wanted to prepare something in the room for me and my wife (we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in this trip). After waiting at least 30 minutes more, I decided to visit the reception again and then I got my key room. Unfortunately, the room selected for us had two problems - a strong cigarette smell (I ordered a non-smoking room) and the location was in front of the main pedestrian street with a lot of bars and restaurants. So the sleep quality was considerably affected. Finally, when I ordered a map at the reception, it was said I had to pay 1 euro (amazing!!!).
Location General service Main building and style
Food is all about quantity and not quality. Buffet food for breakfast is manic if Hotel is reasonably full. Staff not geared up to replenish quickly enough. Dinner buffet not very sophisticated and meat/ fish selection very limited and controlled portions.
Excellent location. Staff friendly Hotel has lot of history
When dining at tables near pool my wife nearly fell when flooring levels changed as the lighting was subdued. There were no warning signs. Stairs to 1st floor bedroom very steep. Too smoky Breakfast over crowded and plates cups, cutlery, etc depleted quickly. Evening meal expensive but ordinary Wifi only available in reception We had a standard room but it was very cramped Broken toilet seat and when informed reception they seemed to not care
Nice place and well kept on the outside; it looks good in the photos but nothing amazing when you are there.
They take in too many guests and the communal spaces feel crowded, it is difficult to find a quiet place to have a coffee. The swimming pool is very small and not user friendly. The receptionist, probably new to this job, gave us incorrect tariffs and incorrect information. Check carefully your bill when leaving, they charged us for the use of the safe (which we specifically said we wouldn't use at the time of the check in) and there was no way they would waive the 14€ fee. The city map is at a charge, very unusual for a hotel which should provide that for free. The room was bare, badly lit and not very clean.
Location. Some helpful staff.
Anyone who does not like cigarette smoke should not stay there: the public, outside spaces are chokingly filled with smoke. Just awful. Our room did not have sufficient lighting by which to read. The hotel forgot to pick us up at the airport, as we had arranged, then blamed it on its booking agent. No apologies. Did not offer to reimburse us for cost of getting to the hotel by other means.
pool bar location food
bathroom wasn't clean enough no wifi in room
lay-out of the building, the location: in the old city, swimming pool, towelservice, friendlyness of the staff, variety of the breakfast.
in one of the bedrooms the airconditioning wasn't working well. The was some streetnoise.
The style of the hotel and smile on faces of people working in hotel, amazing dinners with romantic atmosphere and live music, comfortable location
•the people at reseption were helpful Resepsiyonda çalişan arkadaşlar yardım sever •room was okey
• you have to wait a hour for check in and be at room 3pm •Waiters were unfriendly •Dinner was terrible. It wasn't worth the money. Can get a much better dinner outside. •pool was very small like 3meters also and there's only a few sun beds which people occupy from early morning. •breakfast was so fake and poor. Was not tastey at all. •Drinks were so expensive
Great location in the heart of the old city, excellent services. Staff was very nice and helpful.
breakfast and dinner was around the pool the atmosphere was very calm and romantic loved the music during dinner the room was very clean the staff are so friendly food was great breakfast and dinner
sometimes there was cats they staff dont speak good english the room door was a bit not safe
Location is very good. Site's images correspond to the reality.
Wi-fi signal is very weak. The food is regular, nothing special. Be aware of any scam in the receipts (it may contain more than you should pay) Shuttle transfer from and to the airport is more expensive and may take longer than a taxi.
Nice "period" old house, very pleasant room
Overcrowded,, swimming pool in the courtyard would be perfect if the hotel had about ten to twenty guests, but breakfast and all other facilities run as a factory, you have to climb over bodies when you enter the hotel!
The building itself and location. Also, we arrived very late - 3 am - and although we'd only booked a standard room got upgraded to a suite which was great.
The breakfast was okay but could have been better - fresher - and the staff on the desk in the morning could have been a bit more helpful.
Great location in the centre of the old town. Staff very friendly. Great sized room for the family with stocked fridge with drinks. Nice little pool and bar area Very quick checkout. The main hotel area really looked the part
Quite expensive. Villa Rose was not in main hotel area it was also a little dated and musky and had no internet. No hot water the whole stay for showers. We did report it but no one came to fix the problem. Breakfast buffet was very poor The normal lunch menu however was very good
Good quality, delicious food, centrally located, very pretty.
You are charged to use the room safe, the staff can be a little indifferent, small pool and the hotel also charges for a small map of the town!
Our room was more like an appartment very spacious
Reception staff could be more helpful.drinks were very expensive in comparison to all other local bars.
Not friendly staff. Hard for those with mobility issues.
