the hoster is very nice and considerate.there is a beautiful garden in the hotel.the mosque and castle just nearby.good location.

the breakfast is simple.

We love the owner and staff who are very nice and recommended us without any charge, made us surprise that they may not be Turkish guy ;)))

Great budget option with surprisingly comfortable beds, great location close to several Selcuk sites and the downtown area, and wonderful owner. I cannot praise the owner enough- he works himself to the bone providing advice, running people to and from Ephesus, the bus and train stations, and generally being helpful. This hotel is his personal labor of love, and it shows.

Amazon Antique was a lovely hotel at a very reasonable rate. The character of the courtyard creates a really nice atmosphere and the owner was more then accomodating, he drove us to the train station and to Ephesus as part of our stay and answered all the questions we had. This is a great budget hotel accomodation. The rooms are older but clean and you will really enjoy the room they serve breakfast in, it was lovely.

Staff helpful and always attemptive. Correct information delivered. Close to city center and main Efes site. Parking on road, rarely traficked street.

Emre and his cousin were wonderfully hospitable.we are elderly and their advise for the easy way to get the most out of our few days in selcuk,was exellent.the garden was a bonus. If you are looking for 5star this is not for you

Situated in Selcuk old town in a renovated historic building it provided an authentic experience of local life. The room was basic but had all that we required and was very good value. Our hosts were very personable and most helpful and spontaneously drove us to the railway station with a large amount of baggage at the end of our stay. The location in the old town close to the ancient St John's Church and nearby Mosque and other interesting archeological sites was great and it is located only a short drive from Ephesus. The neighbourhood is quiet with nearby eating places. If you want more energy and life the 'new'town with many shops, restaurants is just five minutes walk. Also has free wifi.

First of all, Emre, who runs the place with his cousin, must be one of the most helpful guys we met on our trip to Turkey. He picked us up from, and gave us a lift to, the bus station on arrival/departure, saving us quite a walk. He also provided useful travel tips (start early!) about how we could try to avoid the crowds -- tour groups and those from cruise ships -- that descend upon the Ephesus site every day (unfortunately, we didn't quite heed his counsel and ran smack into those crowds). His cousin (we didn't quite get his name) also gave us a lift to the entrance of the Ephesus site in the morning, saving us a long walk. The hotel also had books on Ephesus that we borrowed in lieu of a human guide (very useful, as Ephesus is huge and one group of ruins could look like another). The hotel is also located in an old farmhouse in Selcuk's old city that used to belong to Emre's grandfather, so it is quite conveniently located near the city's other places of interest and some good food..

If you are looking for luxury accommodation then the Amazon Antique is probably not for you. However, if you are looking for clean, budget friendly accommodation with amazing staff willing to go out of their way to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable then I highly recommend Amazon Antique. From the moment we arrived the staff were cheerful, helpful and eager to help us in any way they could. The rooms were minimalist but both rooms and bathrooms were clean (a must with young children). We had an early departure but staff made breakfast out of hours for us and drove us to the train station (and stayed to make sure we were able to get tickets!!). I would not hesitate to return.

Staff there are very nice and they always smile ! They are also willing to drive us to the Ephesus and provide us the travel tips,including bus ticket information .Everything is nice there !

It is cute, quirky and charming. The staff were very freindly and helpful. A computer in a garden is something! Excellent breakfasts

Very friendly staff. A little difficult to find but the sent a car immediately and we were there within minutes.

Very helpful and nice owner/staff. They are relaxed, eager to please, willing to pick you up and drop you off from the bus station and also drive you to the ruins of Ephesus. You can pretty much have breakfast as late as you want. We arrived around 11am on our check-in day and were able to have breakfast while waiting for our room to empty and be cleaned.

Pretty bad coffee for breakfast, but this seemed quite a common occurrence in Turkey unless you were specifically ordering a western- style coffee in a proper coffee shop.

Excellent location, affordable and clean. The staff are wonderful and helpful.

The bed linens need to be upgraded.

Hotel position, very closed to Efesus site. Nothing else.

The room was incredibly small, without windows and a noisy air conditioner. We found some hunts in the shower. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Poor breakfast, only including tea and bread.

Our host was great, offering to drive us to Ephesus and the beach. While the apartment for our family of four was a little dated, it served us well and made us feel like we were really experiencing Turkish small town life. We enjoyed our time in Selcuk and would recommend amazon antique.

The staff is helpful. The offer us a ride to efeso and they help us with many informations. The room was quite good and the location is great.

The thing I like about amazon antique is that it has a brilliant host,very very warm and friendly and goes out of his way to do anything.also that it is walking distance from some museum which makes it more suitable for us .
