This was not a luxury hotel thus I rated the facilities and comfort as good rather than superb. But overall it was a great value for the money.
Our stay at the Antique Amazon Hotel was a welcome peaceful and quite respite to the noisy street hustle and bustle of Istanbul! We found our host, Bresh, to be more than hospitable, attentive to every detail in our inquiries and very knowledgeable about the region, the nearby cities, and our village, and all their histories. His vast network of services included drivers, transportation, sites to unbeaten paths, credible reputations for restaurants in the area and realistic advice to seeing the most in the shortest time. The amenities in the Antique Amazon Hotel were more than adequate, from the fresh linens to the wonderful breakfast served every morning. The former village farmhouse, built in the lands of the famous Amazon women makes for a wonderful bed and breakfast style stay. It is sparkling clean, well kept, and still maintains the many farm plants in the courtyard. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the St. John Basilica, the Temple of Artemis, the market, the restaurant areas and the bus station. We had a wonderful time there.
