The staff is so kind and committed to make you feel comfortable. It's a rustic and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh mint on the water and in the table. It has all you need in a country house style, it's like saying at a friend's house.
Friendlyness of the Owner, breakfast and location.
The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and spacious, the location was a stone's throw from St. John's Basilica, and a short drive to Ephesus, and the breakfast was outstanding!
The Hotel is very sweet, you really can feel at home. It is a place where you can rest and find some silence. The owner is super nice and wanted us to feel totally relaxed and wecolmed. We loved to stay here!
The room was basically an empty cabin with a bed and a chair. Nothing on the walls. We had to ask for a table. I've stayed in camping cabins that were nicer than this. Didn't realize that "water will be turned off for repairs until 6am" meant no hot water in the morning.
Manager was very helpful and friendly - gave us directions to a very nice restaurant for dinner.
Staff arranged a driver to Ephesus and helped us to the train station for Pamukkale. Served a really nice breakfast. Started a nice fire in the fireplace in the evening for us. A perfect host. Good location.
The rooms are small and basic but clean. Wi fi is slow.
It was in a great location, it was warm in the rooms (cold outside), hot showers, no real public area in the winter but in summer there is beautiful outdoor space. The owner was 100% helpful and kind and the breakfast was a treat!
Excellent location, helpful staff, beautiful
as we went in the winter the "amazon antique" is closed, so they sent us, for the same price, to the "amazon petite palace" that belongs to the same owner and its excelent.
The apartment does not have a kitchen as alluded to on booking.com. However, the helpful owners more than made up for this.
Very helpful owners. Picked us up from the bus station and dropped us off when we left. We had thought that there was a kitchen for cooking in our apartment, but they allowed us to use theirs when we found out that there wasn't.
Nothing to dislike. Every thing was great.
We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a small family run hotel in a very quaint location, very close to train and bus stations, the Aqua duct, St John's basilica etc. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous, they arranged every thing we requested for. The break fast is decent. We had to leave very early one morning and they kindly packed us a very big packed breakfast. Our triple room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.
AC is not good enough since it always blows the wardrobe.
The place is refurnished and not the one shown on the picture, but only better. Wooden room make you feel warm. Stuff is pretty helpful and gives every bit of information about Selcuk. Love it!
We've stayed at Amazon Antique before and loved the rustic-ness of it--no complaints at all.
Due to some heavy rains and the season slowing down a bit, we actually stayed next door (cousin's place) at the Amazon Petite, which is a wonderful facility. They were wonderful help, breakfast was simple, but fresh and tasty, and the rooms were clean and in great condition.
very nice and clean, good staff and location, great breakfast
If you're looking for 5*, not here, but is delightful, clean, with all amenities, and I can't bear boring 5* hotels.
Very helpful girl on reception Real character Had wifi, and took credit cards
1. breakfast is all about cold food only with a cup of hot tea 2. poor bed, there is some springs broken in my bed 3. tiny bathroom 4. few electricity plug-ins 5. few furnitures to put your things on 6. small room 7. water is not always hot 8. charge 5 Euro for 1 postcard
1. budget friendly 2. staffs are nice
It's a cozy hotel with nice rooms and beautiful garden, and the breakfast was good.
Wifi was very dodgy in the room, very little space to hang clothes, breakfast was the bare minimum, bed uncomfortable (hard mattress, scratchy sheets)
The location was quite convenient, within walking distance of the major sites in Selcuk and some good restaurants nearby. Nice wide and fairly quiet street.
Poor wifi in room
Eating great breakfast in lovely courtyard/ excellent service
Bed could have been more comfortable/ wifi was in and out
Loved eating breakfast under the arbor, the service- staff got us tour of Epheseus and cabs to and from the airport. Friendly. Necessary quarters
Tiny cramped room 2 single sheets to cover "double" bed (2 single beds pushed together) Water glasses not provided No clothes hangers Handle missing off wardrobe and drawers could not be opened Over priced beer and water Previous reviews talked of free shuttle etc but this not offered
Good breakfast Attractive courtyard
Amazing value, good breakfast, very friendly staff, spotless, lovely garden, great location near sites, great shower, hot water plentiful, free parking in street, very good wifi free
Very helpful owners, parking space, small but clean, well-kept room, decent breakfast. Overall, owners and staff left as good an impression as the small but perfectly-maintained hotel. Enjoyed it!
The wifi wasn't superb, nor the rooms but we weren't expecting much given it is a small town, seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a small rural town. It was a quaint and comfortable stay. Very close to Ephesus. A three hour bus ride to pamukkale.
This is a good basic pension. The proprietress readily accommodated our request for two rooms, not one, for three people and charged us nothing extra. Conveniently near (by car) Ephesus and the castle.
