Ticarethane Sokak No:19 Sultanahmet, Old City Sultanahmet, 34420 Istanbul (Show map) Very good, Score from 56 reviews“Helpful staff Room was great though a little tight with fold down lounde for 2 x8 yr olds. Excellent location Brekky was OK but mainly clod cut selection If a couple travelling only would be perfect, great location and roof top has incredible views to have a glass of wine and enjoy. Hotel has been refitted, rooms have great ambience though no views from room themselves - this doesnt matter”

We liked the location, cost and the helpful staff. Did not have time to try the spa facilities so cannot comment on those. The roof terrace was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Across the street from the tram and just steps away from major historic sites including the Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia. It is in a great location but, tucked up in a back alley and without a sign from the street, it was hard for my taxi driver to find at night. The address is somewhat misleading, as it only accessible by taxis from the Grand Bazaar side, not the Sultanahmet side. Also, I had a remarkably bad massage from in-house "masseur" (the place looking somewhat akin to a 1970s bordello) and left half-way through with a migraine -- not an experience I would recommend.

The room was spacious and light with windows across two walls, in the heart of sultanahmet in a beautiful sidestreet, close to all attractions and the service is wonderful. Can't fault anything!

I liked the hotel room. The bathroom was very small and sauna and turkish bath wasn`t free what surprised me. I thought it`s in the price of the hotel.

Right in the centre of the main tourist attractions but a little difficult to find as in a side alley off the street. Well appointed & comfortable hotel with very pleasant & helpful staff.

Excellent location and very helpful staff, beautiful view from restaurant roof terrace. Would like to stay next time if I visit Istanbul. All main touristic objects are next to hotel - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace other are easy reachable by walk. Could be better ventilation system in the room, air was humid.

Location on Sultanahmet near tram station. Large rooms. Unfortunately some problems with conditioner almost in every room. The price of 100 euro per night looks a bit big. Otherwise it's OK

All the staff I encountered were very friendly and sincerely helpful in all respects. The views from the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served are spectacular; lunch and dinner are also served there and the meals I had there were quite good. The bathrooms are up to date and gleaming. The major sights, rug shopping, and good restaurants are on the doorstep of the hotel. It was a wonderful experience all around and I recommend it highly. This being Istanbul and the old city, the rooms are small and somewhat dark, but the availability of the rooftop with spectacular views makes up for it.

we stayed a week and felt the location was perfect for 2 to 4 days. Room was comfortable and we loved the terrace setting for breakfast and relaxing. No negative on the hotel but, the area is a bit too touristy for a long stay. The modern city areas are a long way away.

Friendly staff, paid attention to my son, always ready to help, rooms clean for a budget hotel, seems to have been newly redecorated, lots of guest amenities, great breakfast, excellent location in old Istanbul in walking distance of the great attractions and public transport systems, loads of information, ready to assist. Entrance hall is marble and was extremely dangerous, keeping in mind its a wet season, myself and others slipped continuously. Staircase and fire escape is a deathtrap, my son came tumbling down and I am only thankful there was never a fire as you can neither fit in the extremely narrow fire escape nor can one walk the stairs in case of an emergency, restaurant breakfast is great but the restaurant is not the option for dinner, food was bad, even though it was specially booked fro our party of 7 24 hrs in advance, you need to be picked up at airport and dropped at hotel, as you will not find it by yourself as it is located up and ally (walking only) and very difficult to locate.... Sadly he hotel only arranges an airport pick-up if you book through them directly and as such we used booking.com and was not offered this service....had we known we would have organised it and paid additional for the service.

The hotel is small, quiet, tastefully appointed and superbly located with a terrace view of Sultan Ahmet mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Hippodrome all just across the road and with the ships moving along the Bosphorus in the background. The museums are a very short walk away. The staff made me feel welcome and themselves appeared happy working together. The buffet for breakfast was beautifully displayed and the meals excellent. It was an idyllic context in which to return to historic Istanbul. I couldn't have been happier and have been repeatedly recommending the hotel to friends who would also appreciate it.
