Good location, good staff, clean brakfast was good also. Hightly recomended. In next time I'll stay in Amiral Palace. I don't know may be it was my notebooks problem, but I cann't use internet in room, In lobby it wasn't any problem. (Phone wi-fi was working anywhere) |

Very neat and clean hotel with a very good location giving an amazing view of the Sea of Marmara and side views of the Blue mosque and Ayasofia. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. Bathrooms were amazingly clean and spotless with modern fixtures. Overall good experience and would stay here again. However the rating of the hotel should rather be 3 star when compared to hotels found in western Europe but I could see that this is the norm for all istanbul hotels. Our room was in the furthest corner, which we did not mind, but the wireless internet reception was too poor to work in the room. However I was personally comfortable with using the internet from the lobby. Breakfast was not the best, cold eggs and warm orange juice(preserved). However a wide variety of fresh fruits and croissants which my wife liked in particular. My only suggestion is to improve upon these small things. |

Position and ease of access to places of interest in old quarter of Istanbul was very good. The restaurant was good for a varied breakfast but was very poor for an evening meal. The catering staff and chef need to observe the menus and serve what it says on the menu and take a good look at keeping all the meal hot on a plate. Our evening meal was very poor, part of was uncooked and cold. The hotel manager did try and rectify this problem. |

Spoiled by lots of hassle. We arrived to find there was no room for us - they said there was a prob with the bathroom, we suspect they were simply over-booked, and had to spend one night in a grotty hotel down the road......we had hassle paying the bill and lots of negotiation for a reduced rate for the first night.....we won't be going back. |

Fantastic location- only minutes walk to the historical city - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar etc. Loads of lovely restaurants nearby. Staff were excellent and very helpful in giving us directions, recommending places to eat and where to go etc. Breakfast selection wasn't great. |
