Score from 120 reviews Wonderful
An Excellent Architecture Good views Good location
design and fact that 's an old Italian style housel
bathroom and toilet sharing , they are not clean even the hotel was almost empty poor breakfast ..no coffee !
Had a wonderful stay here! The mansion and furniture are incredibly beautiful. The husband and wife proprietors are warm and friendly people. The king suite is the best bet for total quiet and comfort. Worth the money! Breakfast on the very nice front terrace was excellent!
The location. The breakfasts. The view from our suite. The couple who run the place. The history and beauty of the hotel. The relative quiet of area. The easy walk to the main part of town.
Bathrooms are not 2014 5-star worthy, but you're on an island in a gorgeous old hotel :)
Very nice staff! Excellent hosts. Good food and wine. Nice design hotel, designed for those who love antiques and vintage.
Do not book the room under the roof - it is small and uncomfortable. In the rooms for an entire week has never been cleaned.
We really enjoyed our stay not least because of the very friendly hosts and the lively atmosphere of the hotel. We felt comfortable and at home. It was nice to be surprised with a fruit platter as a snack from time to time.
Probably we didn't do our research properly, but we didn't expect shared bathroom facilities.
The old house with old fashioned furniture and high ceilings, kind hosts and friendly atmosphere, extremely picturesque scene!
bad wi-fi on top floors but mostly you don't need it during vacation
Only three rooms have own bathroom&wc. Others have to share just one bathroom&wc in the middle of the flat. Furniture are neglected.
The hotel is an absolutely stunning old building. We were supposed to get a room with this beautiful wall paintings, but another room with a better view on the second floor was offered to us. It didn't have these paintings, but still had a lot of charm. There are a lot of shared space with tables and sofas, what makes you feel like you are at some friends' country house. Breakfast was very nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd say it is the best hotel i had a chance to stay at.
Charming, atypical hotel with beautiful ottoman-style furniture. You would believe you are staying at your grandmother's house! The balcony is really enjoyable with great view on the sea side. Well located
Although the place is quite something for the eyes, the comfort is minimum. We hadn't understood the bathroom was shared (including toilet), the bed was not comfortable, the room very small (as opposed to huge common parts) and the breakfast wasn't very good. All in all, we felt it was quite expensive for what it was.
Beautiful old building and lovely views from top floor. Owners were friendly. Comfortable bed.
Booked Kings Suite on top floor as it was advertised as 2 bedroom. Initially we we just shown the main bedroom but when I asked about the children's room we were shown another room across the little corridor. It was very small and dark - really just like a cupboard - with a single bed and it looked like someone had been sleeping in it. This was not what we were expecting when booking.
Beautiful, cozy family run hotel with very friendly owners who looks after you very well.
However I think it is slightly overpriced room fare.
Lovely old building with high ceilings, tall doors, well preserved old furniture, etc. Great staff.
The hotel was definitely the Pinnacle of our Istanbul journey. It is siuated on a nice place on the Island. The hotel seems to be a fairly neo-classic building just like the surrounding houses. The inside of the house is truly breathtaking, just beautiful. We had the suite with was an amazing experience. The service hereby was also great. We actually booked 2 standaard rooms but when we arrived we received an offer for a suite charging the same price. In the morning they serve a nice breakfast. The staff is very kind and served us very well. This hotel is an absolute recommendation when going to Buyukada and Istanbul
Location is great, allows you to walk into the island streets The house itself is charming and still holds the great atmosphere of an old mansion Breakfast is decent, but nothing amazing I would still recommend, but don't expect too much
Comfort is extremely basic (bed, room furniture) disappointing given the price point. All bathrooms are separated and shared, which I did not remember was mentioned when I booked the room
I liked that it was rather cheap (in comparison with other hotels in Buyuk Ada) and their breakfast was really good
Single room was really tiny, hot and not comfortable at all. The bathroom and a toilet was at another floor and there was no lift
