This is a great location with very helpful staff
The individuality of the rooms. Great breakfast to start the day. Plentiful hot water and good water pressure in the showers.
Helpful staff, gorgeous location
the location was suberb and the hotel was very unique with each room different from another It added to the great wonder of Cappadocia making it even more special
I had to leave before I was able to enjoy all the hotel had to offer
Enjoyed our stay at Anatolian Houses. Great location and the room was spacious and comfortable.
There was no air conditioning in the room. We had a fan but it was very warm.
Room in the cave Bed Service
Bathroom without a door that could be locked
Location, atmosphere, rooms
Staff very hospitable and professional, location is ideal, room decoration is vintage, spa is good, transportation and activities coordination is excellent.
Bed a bit uncomfy and squeaky because they're vintage.
Staffs were very friendly and kind.
There is no AC so a little hot in the night because some hot air came from SPA.
Very helpful, friendly staff; Imaginative and beautiful decor; Amazing position above Goreme, with great views.
1. Quality of staff variable with some rude and even lacking English at front desk. 2. Breakfast below average with very limited, repetitive fare. 3. Very limited accessibility both in general (no lifts or ramp access) and in room (esp. bathroom), therefore not suitable for guests with limited access. 4. Some rooms (like ours) have restaurant seating directly outside with subsequent noise issues. 5. Music is piped throughout the property for most of the day (too bad if you don't like the music or if you want to sleep during the day or go to bed early). 6. Price befitting a 5 star property but only a 3 star property at best in my opinion.
It's afirst class instalation, with SPA etc
The rooms are reached only by stairs, what made our luggage (long trip) difficult; staff nice but poor English
The location & facilities were excellent. The pool & massage centre was excellent.
The hotel has obviously targeted the bus tour trade. We were 2 couples travelling independently. They were unable to do the slightly extra to make us feel comfortable. When asked to bring a drink to the terrace the response was get it out of the bar fridge in your room!
Fabulous architecture and interior design, straight out of "World of Interiors". Ideal location.
Blatantly lied to us about the room we had reserved, twice! I think that because the room was booked at a discounted rate, Anatolian Houses felt entitled to give us a room of (much!) lesser value. Thankfully the details of the room were very easy to verify through the booking.com reservations page. I expect this kind of dishonesty and argument from a carpet seller but not a hotel of this repute. I have never experienced this level of poor service before, get ready to fight for your rights here.
The location, the people at the reception were very friendly, the indoor swimming pool is beautifull.
The wellness (sauna, hammam) should be included. We stayed there for 6 nights, went everey evening to the indoor swimming pool and were everytime alone (what was ok for us of course). The location is fantastic but the sauna and hammam are very expensive, so nobody comes to the spa. The outdoor swimming pool is beautifull, but bad located at the entry of the hotel and very small. The staff in the breakfast room is not friendly.
Great location, lovely room and friendly staff.
We were not able to use the outdoor pool as something was wrong with it. To use the inside pool you had to pay extra. I think if you are staying at the hotel they should at the very least offer the use of the spa facilities at a discount. We noticed no one used the spa when we were there. Quite expensive just to use it.
Liked the indian restaurant ! :)) Liked the spa. Liked the location.
Room 2101 next to main door entrance, noisy @05:00 every morning when other guests go to balloon excursion! Staff of the hotel working on our roof quite late in the day.. No wifi in room, ok it was for holidays, but useful to send some picture or check flights schedules.
Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Clean and warm rooms with very comfortable beds. Friendly staff willing to help with anything you may need. I would definitely recommend it.
Spa was beautiful and hotel was very unique
Their connectivity to modern world. With if not great and major problems trying to make a conference call.
We loved the location, the spa and the overall feeling of the hotel. We will be telling everyone to go to Goreme and will recommend Anatolian Houses
Breakfast was a little disappointing. It would have been great if all you wanted was cheese but otherwise the options were pretty limited.
The hotel is beautiful and upscale. The staff was amazing and very helpfull. The pool and spa area are among the best we've visited so far.
Additional cost to use indoor pool and sauna.
All in all we were very satisfied with our experience. The rooms are amazing (we stayed in the deluxe svit) and the staff are very nice and helpful. They arranged the balloon ride and gave us a good price on that and they replied quickly on all of my emailed questions before we arrived. We travelled in a group with nine people (young couples) and all were impressed by the hotell. I can definitely recommend this hotel but for the price conscious I would recommend booking tours and transfers yourself.
They charge way to much for the spa treatments. And I think it is a shame that you need to pay 48 dollars för access to the sauna and bath. In the end we got a better deal because we were nine people but still. For guests I think the basic facilities like bath and sauna should be free or at least a lot cheaper. The transfer and guided tours the provide are also severely overpriced. They did give us a really good deal on the ballon ride though.
Anatolian Houses Hotel is a beautiful accommodation in a exotic location. The staff is Professional and overall atmosphere is so relaxing. Room design spacious and unique. Treat yourself to a stay at Anatolian Houses in this wonderful destination
We were lucky to get upgraded in our room.. but the first we saw was also very nice. Very good location, you can walk to restaurants and stores.. nice view, very quiet and good soft music. Our "cave"was unique, unforgetable!
