Good location, nice hotel, comfortable one day was not given teabags in room, went downstairs to ask for two teabags and was charged 4 lira. When paying this money for hotel being charged for teabags is ridiculous. |

The room was very tastefully decorated and the staff were polite and helpful without being overbearing. It was also a very quiet and relaxing place to be depite being in a busy city. They were very strict about you not bringing anything in to the room to eat or drink but the wine they supplied was overpriced and disgusting. The bathroom was really too small to be comfortable.I wouls have liked a radio in the room for the price I paid as it was a suite room. |

We had a great time at this hotel, the staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. They offer very good value for money and certainly deserve recommendation! I'll certainly go back there if I'd be in Istanbul again. |

The hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance to Sultanahmet Square. The surroundings of the hotel is full of restaurants, bars and hotels. The rooms are cosy and there are even deodorants and hygienic stuff in the bathroom. The brakfast room is cosy and nicely furnished and there are enough varieties in breakfast. Wireless internet available. The towels and sheets were kept clean during our stay. However, the rooms would be excellent and the hotel would serve excellent comfort if, with a little more effort, the cleaning of the rooms was better. |

From the outside the hotel didn't look like much but as soon as you are inside its lovely. The staff and location were fabulous. We stayed in a standard room and I nicknamed it "the box" - it was extremely small. However, the bathroom was a good size. My friends booked the Sultan suite and that was lovely-spacious, huge queen size bed, flat screen TV etc...the works! This was definatley worth the money. If you are planning a trip - either go for one of the suites or the deluxe rooms. The location is perfect! Would highly recomend. |

the beds were very comfortable and the location in the area Sultanahmet is very good We were put in the second building, no breakfast on the terrace or garden but down floor, what they call it "garden", poor breakfast and poor service. The staff is friendly but unprofessionel and it looks like the owner is not very interested, also not in coaching his employees. The room and specially the bathroom/shower are small, and you have to climb to get into the bath. we have said that we were disappointed about the room, but there were no real alternatives. Before the hotel they advertise (I think for joke) with: hot beer, lousy food and bad service, we can say: the beer wasn't hot! We think three stars is to much for thiss hotel. |

Good location. Good internet. Small room. Small toillet. If you have two suitcases and your girlfrien has also two, they won't in the room. If you are a backpacker, fine. No sea view. Breakfast is in the dowm floor, not in the terrace, as they make you think it is by the pictures. Old sheets and covers. |

It was quiet except the calling from the Blue Mosque early morning. The hotel was different from the photos what I saw on the booking .com. The terrace was not available for breakfast and it was not good to use for even a drink. The breakfast was so ordinary, not many choices to eat at all. |

It is hard to review this hotel as we were in a flat which is in a completely different road. The hotel is split into three locations and we therefore had to walk to another building to get our breakfast - which was not served on the terrace with a view of the Blue Mosque. It is however in an excellent location for visiting the old city of Istanbul as everything is within 5-10 mins walking distance. Although the flat we were staying in was ideal for a family of four - giving us a sitting room, kitchen and separate bedrooms, it did give you a feeling of isolation from the hotel. We stayed there for 3 days and no-one came to clean the rooms and the bathroom let the place down badly - although having travelled to other hotels in Turkey that seems to be a common theme. |

Location was good and we loved the bedroom. The staff from the hotel couldnt wait to get the money.First you could not give a authorisation with your creditcard, because they had some ´technical problems`.The second day, they asked me again, when I am going to pay. This is very unpolitely and irritating.Do they think that we are not going to pay? |

Locaion, Availiability for free parking in a very difficult area. Angel's suite worth it only for winter stay probably. Although I've booked the best available suite (Angel's) I felt very disappointed. Some photos are tricky. Practically the Bosporus view from the balcony is very limited. Better from the terrace but they do not operate/serve breakfast there every day. Very poor breakfast in the main building. Very strict policy for the (very small) mini bar/fridge: they forbid to bring even a small bottle of water. I had also some troubles with my booking because they use to communicate directly with the customer (they claimed that they canceled my booking because of an problem with my credit card without prenotice to booking.com |

The staff are friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was the size of a cupboard and had very little light. I did pay a discounted rate but would have liked to have known that the room was going to be very cramped. No roof terrace at Angels Home 2 so if you want this make sure you're at Angel's Home 1. The accommodation in Istanbul is expensive for what you get. I've stayed in guest houses in England where the rooms big and the breakfast cooked for cheaper than this(cities and countryside). If you're on a budget and a couple give Istanbul a miss it's over priced and set up so foreigner's are ripped off left right and centre. |
