Angel's Home Hotel  

The staff was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable, excellent location.

A bit noisy and the breakfast could be better.

We were a group of 5 people and stayed in the appartement nearby. Each year we are having a short city-trip together and we really have to point out that we never had such a friendly and helpful staff in any hotel before!!!! Anything we asked for help - they gave a hand and especially as we booked the flight back home on the wrong day - the guy (sorry we even do not know your name - many thanks again ;-) managed everything for us. When coming back to Istanbul - we would definatly come back to Angels Home !!

The location is excellent, close enough to have Sultanahmet's best attractions less than 5 mins walk, yet set down a very quiet road. The penthouse suite has a great view over the sea, perfect to wake up to.

The balcony on the top floor could do with some small repairs but certainly not a big issue.

Good breakfast , close to the blue mosque and Santa Sofia. kind people, they like motos and old cars.

Location, location, location

More run down than the photos showed - when ready to pay told us they would have to tack on fees to the original price if we didn't pay in cash - significant amount and this came as a surprise

We have just returned from five weeks in Europe. What we look for in accommodations when travelling (in order of importance) are cleanliness, value for money and location. Angel's Home hit the mark with all three. Angel's Home is a bit more upscale than a budget hotel. Rooms have been (or are being renovated). Do not expect a five star but you will be pleased with this well run 3 star hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They made transfer arrangements for us and met any other requests we have. Special thanks go to Karina and Umit. Karina for her breakfasts and helping us with our pronunciation of Turkish words and phrases and Umit for his wonderful sense of humour and charm. Teşekkür!!!!!!

Not water enough in sink

The service we received was par excellence! We arrived early but were able to leave our suitcases in the hotel until check-in time, while we looked around Istanbul. Every member of the hotel staff went out of their way to answer our questions and attend to our needs. The room was wonderfully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, wine, a mini-bar and a range of toiletries - the towels were wrapped in red ribbons; bath robes and slippers were available and the bed was a four-poster with heart shaped pillows. The roof top terrace had comfortable furniture and had great views of the Marmaris Sea. During this trip we stayed at 4 hotels and the breakfast served at Angel's Home was the best - the variety was extensive - cereal, hot food, salad, meat, pancakes, cake, bread etc. etc., tea/coffee and fruit juices and we could eat as much as we wanted.

Building works at the hotel meant that when we arrived it was difficult to navigate the entrance due to piles of concrete etc. Having travelled overnight we wanted to have a sleep during the afternoon but this was difficult due to the noise from the builders. Although the towels were beautifully presented they were quite hard - lacking softness. We were offered a smoking room but, upon arrival, were informed we could only smoke on the roof terrace.

The hotel was cosy and in a great location. I liked the most the atmosphere of the hotel. It was more like a "house" feeling than a hotel!

Bella la camera al primo piano ma non quella al piano rialzato (sembra di essere in un sotterraneo); è l'unico hotel turco (tra quelli in cui abbiamo soggiornato) che applica una tariffa maggiorata se si paga con carta di credito (nonostante la tariffa concordata con booking.com)

Отличный номер - пентхаус. Прекрасное месторасположение. Приветливый хозяин и персонал.

Завтраки - пустая трата времени сна) Мрачноватая и староватая мебель. На террасе в пентхаузе на случай дождя хорошо бы предусмотреть навес.

Das einzige was fehlt sind europäische TV-Kanäle...ansonsten nichts zu bemängeln...

Gruppo di amici, sei per l'esattezza (25/30 anni). Non stai in hotel, è un appartamento li vicino, è abbastanza ampio e spazioso, c'è la cucina, due stanze da letto un'altra chiusa da una tenda, ci si sta bene in 6/7, è caldissimo e la doccia ha la caldaia quindi nessun problema per l'acqua calda. 10 euro a notte vanno bene, considerando anche che in 10minuti a piedi sei al gran bazar

Colazione zero, ci siamo andati una volta e poi basta. Però se vi piacciano uova sode e sottaceti di prima mattina li li trovate.
