the beds were very comfortable and the location in the area Sultanahmet is very good We were put in the second building, no breakfast on the terrace or garden but down floor, what they call it "garden", poor breakfast and poor service. The staff is friendly but unprofessionel and it looks like the owner is not very interested, also not in coaching his employees. The room and specially the bathroom/shower are small, and you have to climb to get into the bath. we have said that we were disappointed about the room, but there were no real alternatives. Before the hotel they advertise (I think for joke) with: hot beer, lousy food and bad service, we can say: the beer wasn't hot! We think three stars is to much for thiss hotel. |

Good location. Good internet. Small room. Small toillet. If you have two suitcases and your girlfrien has also two, they won't in the room. If you are a backpacker, fine. No sea view. Breakfast is in the dowm floor, not in the terrace, as they make you think it is by the pictures. Old sheets and covers. |

It was quiet except the calling from the Blue Mosque early morning. The hotel was different from the photos what I saw on the booking .com. The terrace was not available for breakfast and it was not good to use for even a drink. The breakfast was so ordinary, not many choices to eat at all. |

It is hard to review this hotel as we were in a flat which is in a completely different road. The hotel is split into three locations and we therefore had to walk to another building to get our breakfast - which was not served on the terrace with a view of the Blue Mosque. It is however in an excellent location for visiting the old city of Istanbul as everything is within 5-10 mins walking distance. Although the flat we were staying in was ideal for a family of four - giving us a sitting room, kitchen and separate bedrooms, it did give you a feeling of isolation from the hotel. We stayed there for 3 days and no-one came to clean the rooms and the bathroom let the place down badly - although having travelled to other hotels in Turkey that seems to be a common theme. |

Location was good and we loved the bedroom. The staff from the hotel couldnt wait to get the money.First you could not give a authorisation with your creditcard, because they had some ´technical problems`.The second day, they asked me again, when I am going to pay. This is very unpolitely and irritating.Do they think that we are not going to pay? |

Central position, just a couple of minutes far from the Blue Mosque! 1- We chose the hotel because it had a terrace (with view over the Blue Mosque) to have breakfast on; but the hotel has 3 different buildings, and only who pays the highest room rate is staying in the building with terrace; for this reason we've never been on the terrace. 2- After booking, they wrote us an e-mail forcing us to give them our credit card details to have the room booked...shouldn't contract with "booking.com" be enough?!? 3-They came and collect us at the airport even though we had already declined this service; luckily we got to the hotel on our own before meeting them, and we weren't charged this cost. 4-They also made us sign a document promising not to take food/drink from outside, but using the hotel's bar for any need |

Locaion, Availiability for free parking in a very difficult area. Angel's suite worth it only for winter stay probably. Although I've booked the best available suite (Angel's) I felt very disappointed. Some photos are tricky. Practically the Bosporus view from the balcony is very limited. Better from the terrace but they do not operate/serve breakfast there every day. Very poor breakfast in the main building. Very strict policy for the (very small) mini bar/fridge: they forbid to bring even a small bottle of water. I had also some troubles with my booking because they use to communicate directly with the customer (they claimed that they canceled my booking because of an problem with my credit card without prenotice to booking.com |

The staff are friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was the size of a cupboard and had very little light. I did pay a discounted rate but would have liked to have known that the room was going to be very cramped. No roof terrace at Angels Home 2 so if you want this make sure you're at Angel's Home 1. The accommodation in Istanbul is expensive for what you get. I've stayed in guest houses in England where the rooms big and the breakfast cooked for cheaper than this(cities and countryside). If you're on a budget and a couple give Istanbul a miss it's over priced and set up so foreigner's are ripped off left right and centre. |

The quaintness and style of the Hotel was lovely. Room 204 had a shower where you had to climb in and out. If you are tall and slim that is great, but short and plump no way. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They seemed to be working around the clock. They were very accommodating of our small child. Also, the location is wonderful. The hotel is close to the major sites in Sultanahmet but was still amazingly quiet. It would be nice if the great breakfast buffet available in one building was also available in the building with the rooftop view of the Blue Mosque. However, this is just a suggestion rather than a real complaint. Breakfast was more than adequate, although other travelers in the past have said otherwise. |

Location. Extremly kind and service-minded personnel. Good breakfast. We had booked a family room. When we arrived they said that this room is not available and we were offered a much bigger apartment close to the hotel for the same price. |

It is a nice small hotel, centrally situated, a few minutes stroll to all historical and cultural sites of Istanbul with friendly staff. But they do not meet requests to serve breakfast before 7.30. Had booked twin bedroom, but was given a double instead. To change to twin, I was asked half as much (or slightly more) the agreed price. Something I did not accept, The trick is that what was booked does not appear on booking confirmation. So partly uncomfortable stay. |

Yhe hotel location is excellent. The sultanahmet place is just 5 minutes to walk. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has two buildings with different standards. We would have liked this was clearly described in the hotel presentation as well as the corresponding price differences. |
