We were a group of 5 people and stayed in the appartement nearby. Each year we are having a short city-trip together and we really have to point out that we never had such a friendly and helpful staff in any hotel before!!!! Anything we asked for help - they gave a hand and especially as we booked the flight back home on the wrong day - the guy (sorry we even do not know your name - many thanks again ;-) managed everything for us. When coming back to Istanbul - we would definatly come back to Angels Home !!

The best advantage in this hotel is its location beside the blue mosque and Ayasofia, the staff cooperate well, and cleaning of rooms is very good. Generally I liked it

fantastic memory foam mattress and all the fresh Natural/healthy foods on its huge, buffet breakfast. The staff was super helpful at night. Close to what's happening, and on Sale. Only one night at that fantastic price, then Triple.

Good, quiet location on the fringe of the old city center. If it is not too cold, roof terrrace is truly a good location for a drink or breakfast. Hotel states different prices, depending on whether you pay with credit card or cash. Frindly staff and good breakfast, ca. 7 min. to next tramway station. This is a clean, independent, small hotel with personal serivce; traveling a lot, I would recommend it, not to be confused with large, international franchised chains.

Fantastic location, just down from the Blue Mosque in Sultanahmed Quarter. Many restaurants around and easy to see main attractions. Hotel small, but comfortable. Staff very obliging and friendly. We stayed in the Angel Suite, the top room with added extras. Lounge area and balcony excellent, but the Turkish bath promoted is no more than a sink and bowl within the shower to scoop water over yourself, so don't expect too much.

Very friendly staff. Stable WiFi in the rooms. Nice and clean bathroom. We were in December, the room was very warm. The big breakfast. Located in the historic center in a very nice area. Daily maid service. Beware of rooms on the third floor. Room under the roof with a very low ceiling. =)

The location was absolutely perfect.Only some steps away from Blue Mosque,Ayasofia,Topkapi Palacce and also very close to the water (Marmara Sea-Bosphorus) to have morning walk with incredible view. The rooms were fully equipped, enough large room for a city nd old house hotel. I stayed at winter period thats why the breakfast was serving at the restaurant instead of the terrace which has great view.Definetly I will be back at summer. The all staff of Angel's Home were great, helpful and friendly. There are some room types as economic, deluxe etc...I Booked the economic but the junior boss took us to Deluxe ''no extra cost'' because of my reservation was only for 1 night and the economic rooms were full.It was my great chance and boss kind. Just one thing that should be informed. There is a hotel called Angelos Home. Absolutely that hotel is not located at Sultanahmet. The taxi driver took us to the ANGELOS HOME which has not the same quality and location as Angel's Home. Then i found my hotel Angel's Home which is just 150 metres from Sultanahmet Mosque(Bue Mosque)through to the Marmara Sea. Breakfast could be more rich. Might be in summer period that the rates are higher :).

Great little place--3 bedroom apt for 7 people for a very reasonable price. The managment was very helpful in getting our large amount of luggage up to the second floor apartment. Even arranged a van to take us to the airport at 2:30 am. And offered to have the free breakfast for us at that ungodly hour. Would stay there again.

Centrally placed, everything ok. They should at least upgrade their breakfast to include fresh juice (ok to pay for it), and cafe quality cofee (ok to pay) to be a super deal. So no a major investment and they would surpass my expectations a lot.

We have just returned from five weeks in Europe. What we look for in accommodations when travelling (in order of importance) are cleanliness, value for money and location. Angel's Home hit the mark with all three. Angel's Home is a bit more upscale than a budget hotel. Rooms have been (or are being renovated). Do not expect a five star but you will be pleased with this well run 3 star hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They made transfer arrangements for us and met any other requests we have. Special thanks go to Karina and Umit. Karina for her breakfasts and helping us with our pronunciation of Turkish words and phrases and Umit for his wonderful sense of humour and charm. Teşekkür!!!!!!

The service we received was par excellence! We arrived early but were able to leave our suitcases in the hotel until check-in time, while we looked around Istanbul. Every member of the hotel staff went out of their way to answer our questions and attend to our needs. The room was wonderfully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, wine, a mini-bar and a range of toiletries - the towels were wrapped in red ribbons; bath robes and slippers were available and the bed was a four-poster with heart shaped pillows. The roof top terrace had comfortable furniture and had great views of the Marmaris Sea. During this trip we stayed at 4 hotels and the breakfast served at Angel's Home was the best - the variety was extensive - cereal, hot food, salad, meat, pancakes, cake, bread etc. etc., tea/coffee and fruit juices and we could eat as much as we wanted. Building works at the hotel meant that when we arrived it was difficult to navigate the entrance due to piles of concrete etc. Having travelled overnight we wanted to have a sleep during the afternoon but this was difficult due to the noise from the builders. Although the towels were beautifully presented they were quite hard - lacking softness. We were offered a smoking room but, upon arrival, were informed we could only smoke on the roof terrace.

The Sultanahmet location and small balcony off our room were good. The hotel described itself falsely as having a rooftop terrace for breakfast with a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque. Instead, breakfast was around the corner, on the first floor of a sister property. Even if the terrace was open, it is a very ugly space to eat, with almost broken doors leading from the poorly done weather-protective glass walls. Everything in this hotel is run-down.
