Antique Hostel

Our room was nice and clean (we had a private double room). Steps away from the blue mosque, Topkapi etc. Breakfast is decent and the terrace has pretty good views.

Its a small hotel - great location and decent value for money. Do no expect luxury - especially if you're living in the dorm with bunk beds downstairs.

Good location, friendly staff, breakfast included, terrace, every day cleaning.

We weren't happy about the bathroom (no shower cab, old repair). The bed was very squeaky, that is not very good for young couple =)

Very nice hostel. There are friendly personal, clean rooms and great view from the roof. It is in the quiet street.

Staff was brilliant. There is this guy "Younis" who is very helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Affordable, clean.

Hot - no A/C in my room. Room was also very small for 4 people.

I enjoyed the community-like atmosphere. Traveling alone, it's always important to meet new people which is exactly what you can't get away from here. Great backpackers spot and real value for money! Good wifi connection in the common areas.

I was not a fan of the one key per room. I did not like that they did not provide towels automatically.

Great location right in the old city (Sultanahmet). Easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cistern and Bosphorus. We stayed in the 4 person family room which was clean. There is a secure luggage room. Rooftop view was nice, breakfast was good.

The Antique hostel is located in the middle of old city Sultanahmet among great number of other small private hotels and hostels, but Antique offers a peacefull neighboroughood for good night sleep after spending whole day wondering around Istanbul. Interior is very nice and cosy with good breakfast on terace. From here, every turist sight is on walking distance (10 min). Room with twin beds and private bath are a bit small but with big windows and light and clean towels. Nothing broken, no bugs, no smells, no dust. Also there is safe deposit box in room. Defenitly would recommend this hostel for young couples.

I came across this beautiful hostel through accommodation reservation site.having stayed at this hoster for a week I can confirm in my capacity as a hotel manager myself in the united kingdom this hostel is run efficienly by mr.helmey and members of staff are so friendly,offering their services and assistance all the time! Well done everyone at the antique hostel.no doubt I would like to go back to wonderful istanbul with that hoster as my favorite place to stay at.

The location is just perfect. You can enjoy historical places by walk. They provide with free breakfast, it is very helpful because you are going to be overcharged for your meal outside of hostel.

Almost everything. Dormitory rooms, beds, bathrooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was fine, Staffs were friendly. And the best part of this hostel, LOCATION! This hostel is situated between blue mosque, aya sofia and Topkapi palace. No need to take transportation for sightseeing...

Only one trivial problem. WiFi signal in my room (room number 1) was quiet weak. So I had to go out from my room and look for strong spot. I think this hostel can easily improve it.

The perfect place for me. First hostel I have been to, in which hotel stuff is really 24h a day to help. What's also very important- it was clean. Bathrooms are rather new. 6-Bed-rooms are on the street level (like in most hostels there), but it's ok.- The street is small and quiet.

The location was great I stayed in a separate room, it was cute and clean Breakfast was basic but good Delicious traditional food was served at the restaurant for dinner Staff were friendly and helpful

Location is amazing, best in Istanbul for tourists. Food is also great. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a must.

Clean room, clean bathrooms. Staff was very friendly. The overall vibe of the hostel was great.

Nice little place near the Mosques/Topkapi Palace- tram&fernicular ride to Taksim Square isn't too difficult from there. Beautiful rooftop breakfasts/views and great breakfasts.

Bathrooms are ok, not the best but very usable. You get what you pay for.

The room's floor was uneven!! The bed was unconfortable,and the keys were really big and old.

Its location is superb, Walking distance to 3 most visited attractions, a lot of restaurants around, will stay here again
