The staff friendly and helpful. The roof top terrace was lovelly to have as a place to relax and for breakfast in the morning. The hotel is well situated in the old town, but easy to walk to all places of interest, about 5 mins from the port. I enjoyed the balcony sitting in the evenings before going out. The bathroom could do with updating and another power point would have helped. The room was small.

Loved having Sandra take care of us! She is a lovely Australian woman who was helpful with all aspects of our stay (booking tours to ephesus, pointing out the good restaurants etc). Other things we thought great: the book swap, the rooftop terrace (with the view of kusadasi and the water - magnificent), the breakfast served each morning on the terrace (great coffee, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, fresh bread, fresh vegetables). Also, proximity to the main area of town was excellent, I counted 200 steps to the bazaar and main shopping street. Only minor thing is finding it! We walked from the bus station with our tramping packs, and there were a few steep streets to walk up if you got it wrong. Sandra recommends getting a taxi, and she will pay a portion of the fare by reducing the room rate so you can arrive without hassle - not bad really! If you are going to walk, grab the gps coordinates from the details on this website to streamline your arrival.

The host is kind and friendly, and the view at the roof is wonderful. The room is clean and tidy. And the price is very reasonable ! A little far away from the main road, thus it is near to the town centre.

Wonderful, 9.1

“We heartily recommend the Liman Hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and personable and truly made our holiday special! Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and the view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking...Hasan and his staff are always willing to offer local knowledge, direction ( including thre price one expects to pay!) and methods of travel to see the myriad of historical sights and for arranging days out. Meals out in Kusadasi were tasty, fresh and inexpensive. We shall definitely book here again when we return. Thank you, Liman staff - we will never forget you or your beautiful country. Denise :)” Leslie, Scunthorpe |
