i feel they were a bit expensive
The rooms need soundproofing as we could hear showers in use in rooms above us and also hear the toilet flushing-felt like it was in same room as us.
From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, so friendly and polie in every way. They made us feel happy and relaxed to be there. From the receptionist in main hotel, to all staff at aparthotel, cleaners etc and the food at adjoining hotel were superb. Would definitely visit again.
No washing machine n dryer.
The staff are friendly, the hotel is near to the blue mosque.Surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely choose this hotel again.
The sound from the tv next door is our main entertainment every night. Should have better sound proofing equipment or layers.
The views are amazing. We really enjoy the sceneries. The balcony is awesome to enjoy hot tea. Nice place to chill.
Insist to be placed in the room that you reserve - this hotel distributes guests to sister hotels at its will. As we arrived, we were offered a room in Hippodrome Hotel instead of Hippodrome Apart Hotel. The room was much smaller than declared and pretty old. There were stains and holes in the carpet. We complained by phone to the manager. He said the room we booked is occupied and there were no more such rooms. He addressed all complaints to booking.com ("We are not responsible for bookings made online as it is automated system and we have no control over it" -- what?!), his offer was "take it or leave it". We didn't accept it, so, after 3 phone calls, the hotel provided us a 4-person family room. There are no elevators in the hotel.
Excellent breakfast on a terrace. Convenient location. Quiet street.
Every thing in this Hotel was very good
The photos of the room showed it to be significantly larger than it actually was. The breakfast buffet was adequate, pretty much the same each day.
Location, very close to the Blue Mosque, Bazaar, Tram, and City Hop-on/hop-off bus. A much safer part of town than the Tackism Square and other important, dense population areas
Shower was leaking (and this was "fixed" by towel). Some facilities (like iron) have to be requested and for limited time.
Good location. The view from window - nothing special, but the rest is ok. Lovely view from the nearest hotel's terace, where they serve breakfast The staff was friendly.
I will come back again and again
the vendor suggested by the hotel was to pick up and drop off at the door of the hotel...specifically requiring this because there are NO street signs. (the vendor did not drop off at hotel) Also, there are 2 Hippodromes (so finding the right one is a tedious chore) My experience finding the hotel was anxiety filled...that's all I am gonna say.
the bed was comfortable & they were eager to assist with customer service and answering questions
The roof need improvement
The showers didn't drain fast enough. There was no lift.
The location was fantastic. 5 minute walk from blue mosque and Hagia Sophia . The bedding was clean and so was the bathroom.

On my first night at the hotel. The glass of the bath cabin fell on me as a result of which I was hurt with bruises on my body because of breakage of glass. The Air Condition of two of the three rooms was continuously leaking. When I complained to the staff about the breakage of the glass of the bath cabin they just both antiseptic and said sorry sorry. When I requested to be taken to a hotel or to be seen by a doctor, they receptionist said that he will call the doctor in the morning but next morning they said that the doctor will come later but eventually they did not call the doctor. Besides this they also assured me that the glass would be replaced next morning but they just cleaned the bathroom but did not replace the glass. They also assured me that the Air Conditions of both the rooms would be repaired but no one made an effort inspite of daily reminders by me. They accused me that since I want a discount in the hotel rent therefore I am bringing up these petty problems. The staff of the hotel specially the Manager was very rude. The receptionist even shouted at me when I was complaining everyday. He told me to get out of the Hotel. If I would have been alone, I would have left the hotel immediately but since I had my wife and 4 young children with me therefore I sustained this behavior because I just could not take all the family and our luggage on the road and look for another hotel. I am surprised that how can you give them such a high rating. As a matter of fact these people even do not deserve to work in a hotel or run it. Every day when I used to complain about the Air Conditioner they used to say that why don't you leave the hotel. I requested to meet the Owner of the hotel but they said he is on leave. I WOULD GENUINELY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL. My stay at this hotel was nothing but a nightmare and I am even disappointed that how can Booking .Com recommend this hotel to any of its customers.
There was no lift. Our room (my husband and i) was on the second floor and apparently the air conditioner was leaking. But luckily our room was changed the very next day to the first floor.
The hotel was also within walking distance to Grand bazaar and Spice bazaar.
very poor cleaning services, bad food smell in the building, noisy rooms ( i think window double glazing could reduce the street noise)
Location, proximity to historical monuments, transportation & restaurants
