We loved the location of the hotel, it was of walking distance of main attractions, service of the hotel was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were comfortable for a family of five.
Room is slightly smaller than what we saw in the pictures but this wasn't a big issue as it was still comfortable.
Staff were nice and friendly
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel, located very close to all the amenities a traveller may need. Tram stop is a minutes walk
Evrything., location rooms were very nice an clean staff were friendly an helpful especially Ergan.
Staff were friendly location was excellent for all tourist sites
carpets old and need replacing rooms small breakfast good if you arrive early
it was a crowded istanbul... GURKAN and ENES from the hotel assisted us a lot with clues to get around and enjoy our stay both at the hotel and the city
First of all , the hotel location excellent in the middle of historical area . Second which is the most important , this hotel has very very very gentlemen staff especially Mr Kadier " all if them so great " . They help you in everything they ease my 4 nights to visit all Istanbul attraction . Restruantns , shopping and attracations were well recommended. Third , I booked room 203and 204 connected room were excellent and comfortable and the important thing there is elevator on the hotel . Forth The next door of the hotel there is men ware shops small mall has ver good brand collection Turkish made "Armani and etc " reasonable price Finally , I would thank the hotel staff for there professionalism and politeness and fruitful assistance during the day.
The only small thing is the breakfast is basic no much varieties. The carpet is clean bit need change .
My taxi driver got lost and the hotel sent someone to meet us at the corner. The employee carried our bags the half block to the hotel. We were met with a lovely lemon drink at reception. Our room was upgraded because we were only staying one night. Next time I will be staying for much longer!
Wi-fi in the room was not great.
Location and helpful staff
Street noise if room is at the front of the hotel.
Location location and location.
Room we stayed was very small. They said because we booked early economic room. Parking is not applicable. You have to park some distance away where they build new hotel. Be aware of small spoiled children running around and disturbing hell out of you during breakfast. Hotel staff did not say a thing about it. Aicon making hell of a noise that you thing people upstair are busy building a truck.
Very friendly and helpful staff
The TV was hard to get a good signal from sometimes. SUGGESTION: When you are coming down the street, especially the first time, it is hard to see the hotel sign. We suggest that you put up a neat, visible sign with the name written vertically and sticking out at a 90 degree angle fromthe facade
The location is just few meters from the tram line. Friendly staff. Excellent Wi-Fi.
Rooms are small. There was a smell in the room and in the bed covers. Breakfast is lower than standard.
If you plan to use the hotel for transportation be very insistant, it took a while even after reserving an airport transfer the day before with the same person. Granted they came through but only after a lot of delay and discussions
Location, WIFI is amazing
one of the reception staff had a bad attitude, the other guys are all friendly.
location room facilites Bathroom
worn carpet dark room
One of the best and complete value of money. No words to describe stuff, they are much better than known 5star hotels. will go next time their
Nothing as such
location is very good.
Friendly and helpful staff. We are overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness of Aprilis staff members especially the Front Office Manager - Mr. Gurkon. Location is fanstastic! Walking distance to Grand Bazaar, the Mosque etc Comfort and definitely convenient
The location is the best, not far from the attractions. The staff was very nice and polite and they offered me on my arrival a turkish coffee which was yummy. All young men who worked at the reception on Wednesday afternoon the 7th and Thursday morning the 8th May 2014 were amazing. They deserve to be mentionned, sorry I forgot their names. Many thanks to all of them. I recommend highly this hotel and will definetly go back.
Its location is perfect
The room was not sound proof . Breakfast was bad.
the location is excellent
We heve a very noisy room /at night also/the breakfast is boring and poor It isnt a 4 stars hotel quality!
The hotel is located in a quiet street in the historical center. The tram stops at some 30 meters up the street. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is OK. The hotel offers airport transfer at 70EUR (roundtrip) which is a good value for money (public transportation prices would come to half the price if you travel in a company of 4, but the connections are god-awful).
We had a room with the window facing the airshaft that measures approx. 1 by 1 meter (3 by 3 feet) - you can shake hands with you next-door neighbours across it (Literaly!). The sound insulation - there is NONE. There is no bar at the hotel - which is weird, but there is a night shop at a walking distance - some 70 meters down the street, then another 40 meters to the right - ask the receptionists for directions: they are generally nice people willing to help you out of the unfortunate predicament of looking out for booze!
