Location and very helpful staff
Arrived early 6:30 am after 11 hours flight from Malaysia and had pleasant surprise as we were allowed to check in room immediately without having to wait until 12:00. Very near Cemberlitas tram station. Spacious triple room with strong Wi Fi reception. Good healthy breakfast.
Nothing to complain about.
The breakfast was wery poor.
The hotel is small but really good. The room is comfortable, the bed is perfect too. I stayed there for around one week. Aprilis is just 10 - 15 steps away from chamberlitas tramp station. and like 5 - 7 mins walk to hippodrome park, hagia sophia and blue mosque. to go to Topkapi palace is around 20 minutes walking. To grand bazzar it is only 3 minutes walkng. the room is good, some of the rooms have balcony but you can not really see anything except the street. the staff were excellent. very friendly and English spoken too.(very well in fact). They will help you arrange everything but not always in the best price. you can bargain for the price anyway..so not a problem. they provided Turkish tea for free 24 hours. The staff were really friendly in a good way. Try to talk to mr. Kadir, one of the front desk person. he is really nice and will help you in every way he can. Mr Gurkan is also nice and funny. the food is nice, but you get bored of it if you stay for days, because they serve the same kind of food everyday. the bathroom is nice, and acceptable. The elevator stuck sometimes, if you press floor number 4 the screen will show floor number 3, when it is actually already 4th floor, so you can get confused sometimes, but just have a look at the nearest room number you can see, then you will know where you are. overall we like the hotel and it is recommended to stay there.
Overall, perfect value for money , with all the commodities one should need for a short trip ( location, comfort, clean, nice service, wifi , gim & sauna). You could find bigger and more luxurious ones, but not for this price. I travelled for business reasons and decided to stay alone for the weekend , changing the hotel on the asian side for this hotel. I would recommend it to all travellers that want to find a smart option. - Location was perfect: just 3 minutes from Sultanahmet, Grand Bazaar and in front of a Tram station - Personal: was very kind and helpful, making you feel at home during the whole stay.
-Breakfast was ok for the price but could be improved.
bathroom, room service ,
hotel location , hotel face to road and very noisy early morning and late evening. room carpet was dirty , TV was not working properly breakfast was not continental.
Situation Good staff Very wide rooms
Room a bit cold
Front desk staff very helpful. Great location. Great breakfast. Very close to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Tramway less than a minute away.
Bed was very hard.
All the staff
Excellent location and very pleasant and helpful staff
Nothing in particular
The staff was very helpful and cooperative. The linen was clean and well kept. The breakfast spread was good.
The room. They are too small and mostly without windows. If they have windows they open into a small duct with poor lighting and ventilation. The staff offers to upgrade after paying an extra amount for a better view room.
Everythg. Location, comfort, value for money, great breakfast, warm staff. Kadir frm reception showed us how to get around istanbul n whats best to do there. Murat were very polite n helpful as well.
The rooms was not really soundproof. One of the staff was abit unhelpful during our check out.
Not a five star hotel but more than what we expected and paid for. Very close to the blue mosque and Aya Sofia, few steps to the tram and grand bazaar.
Hotel was so centrally located we could walk to sultan achmet sq 3 to 4 times a day. Very vibrant part of the city. It is very close to a tran stop so travelling around the city was very easy especially with kids and a stroller. The hotel staff was brilliant, Murat was the most helpfull if all. This was a really great hotel which made our experience in Istanbul so much more pleasant. Perfet Location, great staff and great price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Istanbul..we loved it..
Breakfast selection didnt change.
No restaurant or room service
Close to the tram and the Grand Bazaar. Very close to all major sights. Perfect WIFI connection. Sauna was cool.
We lived on the first floor, where were noisy drains. We had problems with European programs on television.
- comfortable room - bed, chairs, spacious room - cleanliness of bathrooms - friendly staff. They were open to any suggestion and wanted to help you any time. - sauna was ok - closeness to the city's main attractions and nice restaurants - close to the main tramway (1 minute walking) In conclusion, there were more good points than bad and I will recommend this hotel to any person.
- there was a constant problem with the air-conditioner, but this was because it was November and we wanted hot air. It needed restart every day. - the room per total was quite clean, but the carpets were a little dirty. Not such a huge issue, but maybe important for people who probably want to stand in bare feets - the variety of food for the breakfast was poor. - the coffee was not as good as expected
The staff was helpful and during check in they upgraded my 4oom due to darkness in room corner and they were understanding. Beside, they support in our traveling, guidlines.... simply staff and location are excellent. Very close to tram and sultain ahmad.
Price for room.
Great location, nice staff, clean rooms, quite hotel at night. Amazing(:
Loved the location, staff pleasant. Room was a great size for our needs and there was 5 of us.
Pillows were aweful as were the duvets . The lightening in the room was poor .
We booked two adjoining rooms for our family with children, but they didn't have that available for us when we showed up. We passed on an apartment with a view for this booking instead because of the adjoining rooms. Rooms are a little more run down that the photos show, but it is in an excellent location, so we were able to overlook it. The parking they offer is in the construction site of their new hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff Location was walking distance to shops, trams. Breakfast was good with traditional Turkish cuisine.
Hotel/rooms looked much bigger on the website
Great location, very friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice neighborhood with many restaurant and shops and good connection with public transport
Staff- great manager Location Wifi Space
