I most appreciated its convenient yet quiet location, cosy atmosphere and helpful staff. I also enjoyed the interior decoration of the main entrance area as well as the room itself. I think it would be much nicer to be able to look at the sea through a bit bigger window (I stayed in one of the attic rooms). |

Location, very close to the Blue Mosk (5min walking) They're tearing down a building to put something new right next to the hotel;tons of dust in the room, noise 7days a week (also on Sunday) starting early in the morning. If noise is an issue, stay away from here in the coming year/ 2years.Turkish bath/hammam not included in the room price (shame!!it's nowhere mentioned). Our room (n206) was falling apart: shower broken, minibar broken, tv cable not functional, only 1 electricity socket available in the room but broken. Small room, we had to stay with the luggages in the hall for 4 days! Not enough tables in the breakfast room to accomodate all guests(families staying in the queue). We complained with staff but they mentioned that we already got the lowest fare with booking.com,unacceptable!! |

Convenient location for main tourist attractions Room 104 lies directly underneath the reception resulting in disturbances from constant movement above into the night. In addition, this specific room has limited natural light due to partially looking out directly at a wall. Suggest to insist on your booking not to have 104 and preference for upper floors. |

Close to tourist sites. Helpful and very pleasant staff. Booked a junior suite room which seemed to be no larger than a normal double room which was disappointing. Some smoke smells in the room on occasion. Needed a new shower curtain. |

It is centrally located for seeing Istanbul. The first night they gave us the room that we felt was not what we had booked. They shifted us to better room the next day on our insistence. The Turkish Bath could not be taken because there was a mix up on the masseuers timings . |

The location of hotel is excellent and convenient to most big attractions, while at the same time in a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast buffet and a good quality a'la carte menu for other meals. My trip was mostly a business trip and the wifi-connection in the room came in very handy. |

Excellent Service. Upon entry into the hotel, the staff gave us a warm reception and the manager even upgraded our room to suite from a double. The location was also excellent and the breakfast was fabulous. |

The owner of Arena Hotel grew up in the house and converted it to a hotel, using much of the original furniture and ambience. It's a quiet location in old Istanbul within walking distance to Istanbul's most famous attractions. Breakfast is served as part of your stay and the dining room is open for lunch and dinner. Staff will often serve tea and cookies when they see you in the sitting room, either using the computer or reading the many guidebooks available to hotel guests. The rooms are clean and inviting and a turkish bath is available on-site. |

Convenience of central location: some rooms had sea view: excellent choice for breakfast, though dining room small, occasioning waiting. Very congenial welcome slightly undermined by pressure to purchase tour guides and trips which we did not want |

Easy 5 minute walking distance to old city centre and main attractions , near to tram transport system for moving around city ,and main street for restaurants and shops .Hotel Breakfast is continental and good variety available . Evening restaurant food is good . Cost of evrything in hotel was in Euro , and not Lira , so beware of what currency is being charged ,or you could have a bill 50% more than expected for hotel services ,restaurant etc |
