The location. I think the reception staff should be more enthusiastic and pro-active towards helping guests. I also think the duvets were small for the size of the beds. Breakfast would be better with some extra continental options

The location is good and the views are excellent from the terrace. The rooms, though small, are clean and so are the bathrooms.Morning buffet breakfast is lavish.Overall,a good place to stay. Reception staff can definitely try and improve their efficiency.Airport pickup is overpriced.

- Location, style, comfort, cleanliness and the terrasse with a view over Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque - The limited choice at breakfast, the reception desk upon arrival (2 single beds given to honeymoon couple... Clearly indicated via email to hotel before arrival). Later resolved when they saw how unhappy we were.

Some rooms are spacious. Nice view to the sea. The terrace view is great on sultan ahmet. Thats all. The hotel facilities are old. The bed is not comfort. You have to walk up to the hill to see the site scene. I wont recommend it.

Great location, down the hill from Hagia Sophia/Topkapi area. Excellent breakfast buffet. Pleasant lobby with comfortable surroundings. Great views from terrace. There were multiple conventions and a wedding reception when we stayed. The hotel staff seemed to be preoccuppied and neglected the hotel guests. The hotel is in an area that gets much traffic in the afternoon/evening. The neighborhood ambiance around the hotel may put off some travellers; not "touristy" but average people living. Room views are lacking.

The terrace on the roof has amazing view, from one side the Bosporus and from the other Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. However, for sure the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast served. They gave us a room right above the music hall of the hotel, where there happened to be a music night, meaning that we could not sleep until it was over after midnight.

The location of the hotel, the value-for money accomodation in Istanbul, free wi-fi The refurbished superior room didnt meet my expectations and the fact that all non smoking room dont have a good sea view, since they are located in the corners of the hotel and not in the center. In addition, the breakfast could be better and different every day (after a point it was boring) and the staff could be more enthousiastic and friendlier.

Clean, polite staff, quiet. Ten min. Walk from Top kapi. Room walls re-painted in light green/dark green. Probably it's ottoman style, but looks cheap and depressing for me. Room furniture looks primitive and also repainted in green. Hello, booking.com! From where did you get 4 stars? It's no where mentioned 4 stars in the hotel itself and it is not a 4 stars really. No s/pool, sauna, hammam. Boring evening. Window view horrible.

The terrace is the best part of this hotel. Amazing views of Marmaris on one side and the magnificent Blue Mosque, on the other. Although I loved the breakfasts on the terrace, I personally prefer more variety on the breakfast table.

The roof top terrace is wonderful for meals. Views from the front are of the Bosphorous and the rear of the Blue Mosque. Fantastic. A request for a specific view was not easily met.

Excellent English, friendliness and willingness to help of the staff, stylish hotel, tortoises at the lobby, splendid view on the terrace. You get what you WANT!!That`s very rare, so thanks a lot to the staff. I would only recommend to make separation between shower and toilet more high, the rest is perfect! Thank you!!

The beds are disgracefully cheap and hard. Got a better bed in rome for half the price when i left. Too close to the lifts so every moron likes to make a noise as they take the lift down one floor. Very limited range for breakfast

Location was good. Although a double, non-smoking room was booked (through Booking.com) upon arrival, we were placed in a twin, smoking room. Upon enquiring were told that's all that was available and that "booking a hotel through Booking.com does not guarantee you'll get what you booked." The staff at the front desk left much to be desired in terms of their courtesy and helpfulness.

Breakfast and view from the terrace worth the money. Rooms are comfortable and clean.Real Turkish bath towels felt great. The best location to take stroll along Sea of Marmara in the afternoon. Good restaurants 2 min away and short walk to Hagia Sophia.

Excellent location: literally 50m from the sea and very close to all the main attractions. Very helpful staff. Breakfast - diverse enough, same every day but has it all, and eating on the terrace with a view on the sea is like living a dream. Rooms are spacious enough, beautifully designed and cleaned every day. Highly recommend this hotel to any type of traveler. Maybe this is just me but I did not quite like the design of the bathroom/toilet doors: they are made of glass, painted over, but with quite large unpainted stripes. The privacy-conscious people will feel ill at ease.
