The roof top area. We had our dinner delivered from one of the local resturants one night, and used some of the things from the hotel for our service. All of the rooms our family had were just great. Not so much ours. All of the staff were very helpful. We had been there before and knew lots about Istanbul. But they were willing. The privite mini bus to the airport was right on time and cost 45E. We used the roof top garden a lot for relaxing. We stayed 4 days.I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. There are some good little neighborhood resturants with friendly staff. A good mini market is almost across the street to buy water, fruit etc. We were invited for tea more than one time and enjoyed that too. Istanbul is a wonderful city that never ceases to amaze me.

Avoid room 101. I booked 4 rooms ( 0ne for 3 people) and they were all great except for ours-101. I didn't ask for another one but decided to just go with it. If I returned, I would make sure NOT to have that room.

Charming rooftop terrace, authentic&friendly atmosphere, nice design, great location, healthy breakfast, and last but not least: you get what you see on the pictures.

Thin walls, so not perfect for a bad sleeper but excellent for me.

Smoking, I can smell it. Charges for airport transfer. It says free on website but I had to pay small fees to both hotel and driver. I have never heard of a hotel in Istanbul charging for using of Sauna.

Location, location, location! Very close to Sultanahmet attractions. Pretty exterior and nice street. Rooms basic but reasonable. Breakfast decent but gets boring fast. Staff young and vibrant. Room attendant swift and efficient.

Minimal information of hotel and facilities given by staff upon check-in. Breakfast bland after a week. Room walls very thin- potentially noisy. Rooms small for groups. Gym disappointing.

The position of the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were a bit small.

Outdoor terrace with a sea view on the roof. Breakfast.

Triple rooms did not match the description on the site - area less than 27 sq meters, the view to the inner dark courtyard (not city view). Untidy bathroom, shower cabin leaking.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel had a gym, steam room, massage facilities.

For exploring the sultanahmet area, even though it was all close by, we had to go up steep inclined roads as this hotel is nearer to the Bosphorus. Also, the room was small with no space for the extra bed we had requested. The only window faced some water pump/tank. Better options are available for lesser price in the area.

Location was perfect - only a couple of minutes walk to sights, restaurants and the tram stop. Fabulous views over the Golden Horn during breakfast.

The staff on reception spoke fluent English and were extremely helpful, from information about the city to arrangements for getting to the airport. Breakfasts, on the balcony with a view of the Bosphorous, were excellent. Location perfect. The room was quiet and spotlessly clean. Daily room service.

It is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Istanbul, near to most sightseeing of Istanbul. Hagia Sofia is in only 2 minutes walking distance. There are a lot choices of restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful sea view from breakfast room!!!!! Without living in this wonderful hotel my trip in Istanbul would not be so greatful !

I would wish a bottle water in the room.

Location was great. It was easy walking distance to the main sites--the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. It's also walkable to the Grand Bazaar. It's a bit more of a hike to the Spice Bazaar. Staff were cordial and friendly. Breakfast buffet was well done. Lots of choices. Breads, jams and fresh fruit get top honors. Cheeses and cereals were ordinary, but adequate. Hotel location was not only near everything, but it was very quiet.

We were three adults, two parents and an adult child. Room was a bit small and crowded for three beds.

You wake up up suddenly at 5 am to Fatih: secularism in Turkey ... But do not worry for all to pay. The spa is not accessible for guests staying less than 3 nights. The rooms are not isolated. You can hear your neighbor cough. The insulation of walls and windows are catastrophic, it was like sleeping outside. Chaotic experience with this hotel.

Couldn't ask for a better location.. a short walk to restaurants, the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sofia, Hippodrome the waterfront and a good local Bazaar

If you want a hot breakfast you will be disappointed.. mainly various breads, cheese, meats cereals and fruit... I was happy with it but my partner was not

Location was fabulous. Staff were very helpful even organising tickets for whirling dervish ceremony before our arrival. Always a friendly smile and greeting when going out or coming back. Couldn't fault the service. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety to choose from.

Maybe the bathroom could do with a facelift and the toilet seat was loose and slipping, but really this is very minor and in no way detracted from my stay.

Nice wooden boutique hotel, well placed for the big sights of Sultanahmet. Nice breakfast buffet. Service helpful even though little Engish is spoken.

Room was a bit small and didn't have enough plug sockets. Wardrobe space was also slightly limited. Generally, one might have expected a bit more for the price we paid.
