We had a rental car and left it parked across the street where we received a parking ticket. The hotel owner offered to try to "fix" it for us, but would have preferred if he had told us not to park there.
Super good location, friendly owner and staff. When we arrived, we were given a map of the town of Selcuk and overview of the local sights. Stayed 4 nights. This is a great value for budget travelers in a very lovely town.

The rooms are nothing fancy but are big and for the price it can't be beat and the rest of the experience far makes up for it!
The owner Muslem (not sure if that's how you spell it) was the nicest of all the hotel owners I've dealt with my entire trip (which was a lot)! Super welcoming and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make us feel like family. He always made sure we knew that he was there to help with any issues and told us not to be shy about it. When we had a problem getting our airport shuttle (atlas jet offers a free one from in front of the hospital) he came down on his bike in the rain to help us figure out what was wrong and even stayed wih us while we waited and bought us tea (and wouldn't take a tip or anything!!!) he said if we had somehow missed the shuttle he would have driven us himself. Amazing and heartwarming! His staff is also extremely kind and helpful...even the ones who didn't speak English well.

Possibly a choice of eggs - only a small consideration.
Host - always helpful with itinerary advice. Even picked us up from the bus station. Constant supply of tea when chatting. Location - close to everything in Selcuck

직원들이 깡패마냥 불친절하고 이불대신 담요를 주는데 먼지투성이며 난방약해서 춥고 뜨거운물도 20분기다려야 나오는 어이가없는 호텔 한국인부인이 있다던데 볼수도 없음 staff is extremely rude i never seen those sorf of service in my life ever. they have only one blanket and it is so dirt and not hygienic at all. and room is so cold i was freezing with my dauther. and hot water i had to wait for 20mins. ot can not called 'hotel' even love motel is better than this one. worst hotel ever in my life. they should learn what is hospitality.

The worst reception I have ever had in an hotel. We arrive tired and late at night and nobody was waiting for us (despite we said it), and after a while an angry unpolite big boy recept us wearing a pyjama. No check in, no explanations, "private parking" was a dark and dangerous passage.... Dirty room (something bite us...), very thin bed sheets (winter) and defficcient toilet. Finally very poor breakfast. It doesn't worth it, even being a cheap option

They suggested a tour for 110 TL/person for the 3 sites (Ephesus, Artemis Temple and Mary's House) with transport and lunch. We did not do this and did it on our own for much cheap Last day when I paid at checkout there was an argument between the owner and the Korean receptionist so that was a bit awkward. There was an AC unit that appeared did heat but only produced cold air so in December we had to wear sweaters and wool socks in addition to the blanket and sheets that were provided.
The hotel is located about 2 minutes from the train station so it is ideally placed. The owner and the Korean receptionist speak English very well. They gave us a map and were very helpful in planning out our stay. In fact all staff were pleasant and very nice to us. We stayed in a 4 bed dormitory. The wifi worked pretty well but would cut out sometimes. Our room included an en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Towels, blanket and sheets, and a pillow were provided. Although, the beds were not very comfortable. The breakfast we very delicious. It was a buffet Turkish style with tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, hard boiled eggs, olives, some kind of deli meat and for the first time there was fruit (oranges and pears) and cereal! Tea was offered as well and I recommend the apple tea!

No warm water in bathroom

I stayed for a night and the hotel was adequate considering its price point. The paint is too pastel and the bed is too soft. Hot water is slow to come in the shower. Breakfast is ok with few selections. Guests taking items on the buffet would be bumped by guests getting into the restaurant.
The hotel is about five minutes on foot from the train station and is close to the few pedestrian streets with stores and eateries. The staff is friendly.

hotel is located in center of the town nicely. staffs are kind and breakfast is excellent.

The staff service is very bad. During my stay, the city has problem with water supplies since any problem with the pipe. When I 'm complaining to the reception, she has not solution, I bought some drinking water for shower. The hotel supposed supply water for guest (maybe buy 1 water galon for each room or more).

Bathroom looks old but it is clean so it is not a problem.
Friendly staff, they give a map and explain how to go to ephesus and other attractions. They offered tea in the common room. Comfortable bed, good A/C and wifi, wooden floor. Great location 5 min walking from bus station and close to restaurants. I would come back!
