The first room they put us in had black mold on the walls. After we asked, they moved us into a new room but shortly after watched them walk new guests into the room with black mold. Clearly not concerned about their health or well-being. It's also a very loud hotel. We had to get up very early in the morning and the pool area was filled with loud people and music until late. The place is just gross and filthy.
Location is great, 5 min walk from bus station & 20min walk to the entrance of Pammukkale. Breakfast has a wide variety of things. You can have a delicious dinner at the hostel for 15TL which it includes a main dish a main meal & unlimited salad bar. They have a nice large pool.
The owners toddler son was constantly throwing tantrums & on one occasion hit a guest, although the child is small he & didn't injure anyone he was not reprimanded at all.
1) Young envoironment 2) Position
1) they accept booking.com reservations but ignore hour of arrival data advised from customer on the website (reservation delayed by raception without calling customer, i.e. the customer who advised alredy on web the late arrival should also call the hotel, otherwise reservation is gone) 2) no hot water in room 3) not clear (even to the staff) pricing model: different prices for different nights in the same room without any advise to customer 4) breakfast buffet seemed overally dirty and chaotic 5) the staff and the owner are used to talk to very young people and use paternalistic approach also to year-experienced travelling people
Good lokalization only
According to lonley planet it is top choice. Maybe it was 15 or 20 yers ago. The worst thing is it is very dirty- not only the bathroom tatę is awful with broken shower but also towels, bed.. we decided to use our sleepingbags, only once during two weeks travel. Air condition extremly loud. And it smelled badly.
Room with air-conditioner , location ....
Reception staff were excellent , but only the guy who in charge dinner buffet giving bad attitude when he serving us ....
It is close to center.
It looks old,needs repairing
Location, cheap BBQ buffet at night, swimming pool.
staff was not rude and the hotel was not so expensive.
Hotel and rooms aren't clean enough. Rooms need heavy maintenance and they are dirty. Rooms and bathroom/toilet are too small and in bad condition.
I lost My luggage at istanbul airport and it hadn't made it to denizli. The staff at Artemis were very understanding and friendly, always welcoming and made me feel very comfortable! I have already recommended Artemis to my fellow traveller friends
Don't book bus tickets or package tour in the tourist agency shop at the opposite side of the road just facing the hotel. I think the hotel manager must have some relationship with the agency as the agency guy sometimes boss around the hotel staff. For the bus tickets from Pamukale, I got it from other passengers in the same bus, I was charged 50 Lira more in total for two adult and two kids. Feel being cheated!
Good value, very good location.
When checking in we were told we can buy Pamukale - Selcuk bus tickets from the tourist agency at the opposite side of road (one facing our hotel acrross the road). Later we found out we were fooled as for the passengers were travelling on the same bus, we were charged much more. Other adult passengers paid 10 Lira less each, children paid15 Lira less each. So we were charged 50 Lira extra in total. I obserbed the hotel and that tourist agency must have the same owner as the tourist agency guy some times were giving orders to the hotel staff.
Good location, in the centre of Pammukale.
The Sauna and Jacuzzi are not in conditions to be used. Quite misleading, considering we picked the hotel because of it.
Dirty sheets, smelly bathroom, dirty kitchen. The staff was really umpolite, they didn't wanted to help with anything and lied to keep make more money. They are not right.
This hotel is located in hights and so commands a fantastic view of Selcuk. The terras is beautiful and breakfast is good.
Pool and buffet were nice. Close to Terraces and air con worked! Staff were kind and saw them helping lots of people connect with busses and so on.
Bathroom shower door had broken and in general everything needed a bit of a facelift. Air con leaked and was loud till you found the 'happy/ quiet setting' once it got going ...but so glad it worked.
The pool is great. The price can't be beat. The aircon works. The buffet is an amazing deal - all the chicken kabobs you want, grilled fresh plus all the salads, yogurts, etc. for the cost other places were selling a single kabob plate. The room was fine and clean but pretty old and dated. Overall the place needs some paint and core fixing.
Although I am sure that the people who were constantly arriving or leaving enjoyed that they could hang around the lobby before and after their buses it made it feel somewhat like a transient lounge. At all times it seemed that there were at least a dozen people sitting on their backpacks and it crowded the space. Also the wifi is overburdened and doesn't actually effectively work. Basic pages take minutes to load - don't count on it.
everything else is perfect!
not enough power point
There is a swimming pool
All the rest : evereything is in fast decay
This room only cost €25 per night. That's why we booked it.
Generally a scruffy feel. Uncomfortable beds. Crowded. Bad breakfast buffet. Unfriendly staff. I would only recommend this if you really need to save every penny. Otherwise, look elsewhere
Plz use hot water
They offer a dinner bbq buffet for 15 liras, which is a great deal for the area and the food was great. They also have a free breakfast and coffee and tea and out at night to enjoy for free. It is also a 5 minute walk to the hot springs.
The bed sheets were very dirty and stained; I definitely didn't feel clean sleeping on them. It was also very chaotic in the hostel and the staff didn't have their stuff put together. They were nice enough, but not very helpful. A family with young, screaming kids were also extremely loud in the pool area after midnight, and the staff did absolutely nothing. We couldn't sleep with all the noise they were making. The staff also said that they take credit cards, but they wouldn't even try to use mine, saying that it probably just wouldn't work, but I could pay in liras or euros. I tried to pay in Euros, but they didn't have change, so I went to an atm, but they also couldn't give me the 2 lira in change that I would need back. I had to come back 4 times just to try to pay.
The hotel is well located in Pamukkale. The swimmingpool and the garden was nice.
We did not have any hot water for the shower and the room was very old and not very clean.
The swimming pool, nightly bbq, location
Lukewarm water in the shower.
Very basic backpacker accommodation. Offered very reasonably priced food. Lovely swimming pool.
Room was not particularly clean. All the rooms overlook the pool.
