Hotel Asiyan  

Central location, cleanliness, politeness of staff, good pool, great for relaxing

Boring breakfast, lack of atmosphere, cramped bathroom with inconsistent water pressure to shower

This hotel is friendly and small, meaning you receive a generous personal service. The pool facilities are the hotel's main attraction - it is pristine and has plenty of room. Great location, fabulous staff - nothing is too much trouble. I would happily stay here again.

Rooms are quite small and not great for laying about in - but in summer in Kalkan who wants to stay in their room? Some variety at breakfast would have been a nice change each day, and perhaps extending breakfast by another hour to allow a nice sleep-in?

Inizialmente avevamo scelto un altro Hotel a Kalkan, ma poi abbiamo optato per l'Asiyan perchè era vicino al centro e non lontano dalla spiaggia. Ci siamo trovati bene, hotel tranquillo, pulito con una bella piscina. Avevamo la suite, quindi camera grande, spaziosa con due balconcini, la consiglio, visto che non costa molto di più della camera standard. La colazione non è speciale, ma comunque buona. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Staff disponibile. Hotel da consigliare.

L'unica cosa che balza all'occhio è il bagno cieco e piccolissimo (nella suite). Con tutto lo spazio disponibile in camera e nel salottino, avrebbero potuto ingrandirlo di più. Il servizio cassaforte è un pò caro rispetto al costo della camera.

Small scale hotel with friendly staff, lovely garden with decent size pool. Rooms exceptionly clean. Only a short walk to the centre of the village, but far enough away to avoid the noise. Peaceful hotel, ideal to relax, not really suitable for partying crowds.

No safe in room. However there was a safe at reception but you had to pay for it.

They should avoid to mention or put warnings saying sentences of the kind: "it is forbidden to...". Although the did not seem to me normal restrictions (do not jump into the pool, do not bring any food from outside the hotel or you have to pay, etc) these are minor restrictions, but at the beginning you might feel like you will upset them quite easily (which is definitely not the case).

We had a wonderful stay at the Asiyan, the hotel is kept to a fantastic standard and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is big and kept very clean and there are always sun loungers available. Lunch is served by the pool or on the terrace and is fresh and good value. Overall, we loved the hotel and would definitely return.

It was the personal service; as a guest I felt incredibly well looked after by Tuna, Omar and the others. Being a small hotel we appreciated the complimentary extras (drinks by the pool, french toast with breakfast etc)
