Great patron and staff very attentive to everthing .Superb views accross the lake. Big breakfast and we dined there for the evening too. A wonderful long weekend stay. I'm sure we'll make a return visit.
People were very attentive and friendly. Flowers and tea glasses as presents on our further trip, from the owner and his wife. Great hospitality. Food was delicious.
Staff were very friendly and helpful right from the beginning. I arrived with my disable mother in law and my partner. We all loved the hotel style and the room. It looks much better on the inside than the outside. The rooms at the back face a beautiful gentle lake which you can admire also from a number of terraces with chairs. (I don't know if they have rooms facing to the front, but I would not want one of them as they face a ghastly motorway 200 metres away,) Unfortunately we arrived when the weather was turning towards cool, so no chance of sun bathing in the sandy beach below or swim in the lake. Still it was good fun to have a stroll along the beach. Food is extremely good, with a number of starters available, followed by home cooked dishes, beautiful salad and delicious hot creamy looking helva. Good tasty dishes are available for vegetarians too. I tried some and were just delicious. Staff were helpful all the time and engaged us willingly in conversation. The owers even gave us a bag of bread to feed the ducks roaming near the lake. You can have lunch or dinner in the patio outside looking down to the lake. Lovely view. There is a camping side next to the hotel, but when we got there there were no tents, so the hotel was fairly quiet in the second half of September. Overall a great experience. Would have easily given them ten out of ten score if it wasn't for the negative points mentioned in the 'What didn't you like?' section.
Unfortunately I must be critical to the fact that, dispite a large sign in the dining room forbidding smoking, there were a couple of tables taken where people were smoking freely without challenge. The smoke went all the way up to the corridor upstairs, so I had to close door and open the windows to breathe clean air. The hotel may not be suitable for very disable people. My mother in law had to struggle to get to her room upstairs. The other negative point was that we were asked a couple of times to give the hotel positive feedback. Surely they more than deserve excellent feedback, but I'd rather not feel the pressure or their request.
Motivated helpfull staff. Excelent breakfast. The location is on lake if you like to avoid city noise its good.
I liked the dog there but was noisy during the night sometimes. Nothing negativ.
The breakfast was great and the people at the hotel were very helpful with us
Everything - I can't believe a place like this is so inexpensive. The people are lovely, the food is great, and the lake is its own paradise.
lake side position, about 10 min drive away from city; good breakfast; helpful staff; good value; campgroug in complex with a few rooms in concrete bungalows
many mosquitoes despite mosquito nets on Windows (not in bathroom, close it!); but after a 30 min fight, we slept ok; be carefull at night and in summer; rather small room
Very quiet Great view on the lake The only beach of the lake Very nice owners with very little english knowledge, but enough to stay for one night Good food (fish) in the restaurant Reasonable prices
Very nice people. Very good breakfast Close to the lake with a beach
Place is little far away of the center (10km) and because of that, it was difficult to find in the night.
Great lakeside location, fed the ducks, Great food, very friendly staff.
Smoky dining room.
Every thing! Every thing you want in a hotel for this price.
Even with poor English practice, the staff shows a lot of efforts to meet your needs or your wishes
Nothing! We go back again!
Beach lovely - views from the rooms are amazing; it's a shame there's no balcony. Dinner was good.
Room smelled of smoke.
All in all very good experience. We had a little accident with our dog there and the hotel staff was very nice about it, even called in their vet friend to come and check on our injured dog in the middle of the night, who could sleep with us in the room. They certainly went beyond their duties.
The place The view to the lake Breakfast very good
The first night the room temperature was rather low eventhough the previous days it had snowed and the outside temperature was at minus 12
Beautiful lakeside location with its own beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean with lake view and good bathrooms. The evening food was good.
No balcony, wines in the restaurant were expensive. Breakfast buffet was poor.
Get stopping point on a long trip. The staff was lovely and the room simple but clean and right on the huge lake. The puppies the staff let us go see, the sweet kitties playing with a bit older puppy, the food and the lake.
No heat (already turned off for the season - even though the nights got down to close to freezing). The food was fabulous but we were shocked at the bill. We asked for a good local wine, and silly us - we didn't ask the price. This was a simple, local hotel and never dreamed the wine would be $50 a bottle (and we had 2 bottles!)
Nice view and parking close to the hotel
Relax place to stay outside of the city with great views of the lake
