Hotel Atrium    

Great value. I went for the half board package ( I think everyone there gets breakfast and evening meal) . The evening meal was very hearty, not a huge choice but plenty, and cooked by a Turkish chef with Turkish influence. The hotel is near the bus station 10 minutes walk from the harbour Little bit noisy, beside a chicken coup and a childrens playground.Very good wifi in the rooms.Good mosquito barriers on the windows

Not really a pretty area, but convenient enough

Excellent value for money- I paid 38 lira for a single room per night on a H.B basis. Guest rooms are clean and have free air conditioning, a small television, mini fridge and a nice bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Pool area is very nice and clean and it's a pleasant area to have a drink from the bar and relax. Meals are typical basic Turkish fare. Hotel is very well run and the staff are efficient. Location is excellent- Literally just across the road from the otogar in a quiet side street.

Superb Value for the Price, Cheap prices, The Pool, Clean , Central Location (good for traveling but can be bad during the night). Near to the City Busses (Otogar)

It Could be very noisy if you are on the First Floor, few days later i had to switch to a another room on the second Floor. Not all Rooms are equally good maintained. Safe is only in the Reception.

The location of the Hotel near the otogar suited us. The half board was very good as it gave the opportunity to try a variety of different food. Enjoyable stay with a nice pool and surrounds to relax.

Very little if any English understood/spoken but we got by.

Budget hotel - simple, old but very well kept. Good breakfast and dinner. The location is just excellent for those who want to be in the middle of the city. Good place just to sleep over some nights and continue traveling.

The pool area is rather small and unpleasant to spend a day there. If you are looking for a beach holiday, it is not a hotel for you. Very poor internet connection in the room.

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed every minute staying here. Very good breakfast and dinner with large variety of food and desserts, clean and comfortable pool, friendly staff. Room was cleaned every day. Perfect location, just 10 minutes to the beach. Nice atmosphere with relaxing music, so at night you can sit near the pool, surrounding with trees, and enjoy starry sky above yuor head. P.S. Beautiful cats! ^_^

The location.

I moved rooms three times. All the rooms smell musty and damp, so to does the aircon. The tiolet in the second moved room flushed sewage from the room next door, we moved into a third room. The tv didn't work and it took 24 hours to fix. I only stayed two nights if any longer I would have booked out on the first day.

Ideal hotel for central location to shops, bars seafront and nightlife. Easy walking distance from bus station. Staff helpful and friendly. Half board food tasty and plenty of variety (in Turkish style). Lovely pool and everywhere clean. Room (we were 3 girls together) was perfectly adequate and clean, bathroom with good size shower. Great value for money for family run Hotel. Very relaxing break, and would stay there again.

Maybe offer of poolside service instead of us going to bar to order drinks ?

We enjoyed the pool and the relaxed atmosphere. Reception employees weren't too helpful, more interested in social stuff behind the counter than the customers on the other side. Also not helpful when it came to dinner suggestions, they are very young and seem to only know where to go to party Good location but can be very loud until late.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help. The location was close to bus station, which enabled us to access different beaches easily.

Simply fantastic, this hotel absolutely made our holiday. First mention must go to the staff, who were so friendly, accommodating and thoughtful it was truly sad to wish them goodbye. The welcome, service and farewell we received was heart-warming, and made us feel instantly at home. The hotel was pristine. Our room was comfortable, tastefully decorated, air-conditioned and with a pleasing view over the pool. The whole hotel 'feels' Turkish, avoiding the impersonal 'Travel-lodge' feel of perhaps the larger resort. The hotel is centred around large a courtyard containing the pool, which, while note built for an Olympic swimmer, was perfect for a much-needed relaxing cooling-off. The food was the greatest surprise - many reviews seem to dismiss it as 'school-dinnerish', but during our stay, the food was fresh, varied and always delicious; as enjoyable as any of the meals we had out at restaurants during our stay. Breakfast consisted of fresh salad, bread, cheese and meat, with cereals and pastries. Dinner consisted of fresh salad, a varying range of cooked vegetables, a side (chips, rice, pasta) and a changing main course (roast chicken, pizza, casserole), and also a large range of puddings. There was even enough variety to satisfy my vegetarian partner each night. The position of the hotel is also wonderful. The bus station is 5 minutes walk, for easy access anyway (even for cheap access to and from airport). The main highstreet of Bodrum, packed full of tour companies, banks, and shops is equally close. The beautiful marina, beaches and many seafront restaurants are a mere 10-15 minute stroll down the highstreet. The friendly and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel is even more astounding considering how close it is to the busy hustle and bustle of Bodrum centre. Overall, for the price, it is surely unbeatable. Speaking to other tourists at different hotels, many had problems and grievances, but I strain to think of even one.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, beautiful gardens and pots, not manicured and arty, but they gave a feeling of being cared for and of shady courtyards. Easy to walk to the centre of Bodrum.

Difficult to find. I was driving and even though I had thoroughly researched where it was and I have a fair knowledge of Bodrum it took me a good time to find it and I had to go past a No Entry sign and the wrong way down a one way street (only for 20 metres) to get to the car park. The car park did get so full that cars were blocked in. Somehow, perhaps luck, I was only blocked in once and, in a few minutes, the staff found the owner and I was freed.

Having breakfast and dinner included in the package was excellent. Standard range of Turkish fare for meals. Great pool and an excellent location. The older garson was exceptionally friendly.

I would recommend that they have a garson to go around the pool to be encourage guests to buy drinks or a meal instead of having the guests coming up to the bar every time they wanted something- great potential to make more money for the hotel.

The Atrium is an attractive hotel - a peaceful, green patch in the middle of a bustling city. It is within walking distance of the castle, museum and is at the edge of old town. Great location, excellent value. Has a parking lot if you dare to drive on Bodrum's busy one-way streets. (Bring your gps to find the location.) The half-board plan is convenient, although he food is average, but economical.

Feels like you are in Turkey, not cocooned in a multinational faceless hotel. Excellent price. Lovely pool. Extremely convenient for beach, restaurants, shops, and to bus station. But in quiet street.

This hotel is the best budget hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean,staff great,nice gardens,pool,easy walking to downtown Bodrum and the bus station. It also comes with breakfast and diner all for a very good price.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the bus station, beach, shops and harbour. The staff are helpful and friendly without being over bearing. The food is very good, plentiful, well prepared and good value. The hotel is clean and feels cared for...the gardens are well tended and attractive.

Our stay was slightly out of season. The sun beds had no padded covers for the first few days but when they were provided they were excellent. Our air conditioning didn't work but was fixed within 24 hours. The shower leaked but again was fixed as soon as we reported it. There was a lot of daytime noise surrounding the hotel from a construction site & it's associated traffic & every time the mosque call to prayer sounded, a local dog howeled! There are only a couple of rooms with balconies which is a shame & there is a children's play area next door which is noisy during the day if your room is on that side of the hotel.

Nice welcome. Good value for bed, breakfast and very good buffet dinner. Near to shopping, restaurants and sea. Seen some negative views on line but thought it very good value.

Priced way below it's value, it's a very comfortable and pleasant hotel to stay at. The staff are warm and helpful, the rooms are simple but very comfortable, breakfast is decent and the pool is lovely. The location is a convenient stroll to Bodrum beach and to the marina. I booked a night and stayed 5!

There's almost nothing I didn't like about the hotel, but tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be a nice addition.
