Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Right in the centre of the old town. Great view at breakfast from the rooftop.
Hotel:- *Excellent staff *Top spec *Decent breakfast Location:- *Super location in the heart of sultan ahmet *Metro is a 30 sec walk
Breakfast could have been slightly better.
The view over the city while eating breakfast, the comfort of the room. The staff are helpful & the hotel is in an excellent location. Overall, a very good hotel.
The breakfast was ok, but nothing outstanding. While we were staying there, there was some construction going on (not the hotels fault, but just so you're aware).
Its location and proximity to Tram Station and Eating Outlets.
Lorries passing the narrow streets.
I liked: The location, close to all the important sights of Istanbul and the small old streets of Sultanahmet. Breakfast room with a roof terrace, a nice way to start the day with a view of the city. Nice room, excellent service and helpful staff, good value for money. Good advice about restaurants
The guided city tour of a Turkish tour company the hotel had a brochure of and which I booked with very bad experiences. I informed the hotel about this company and advised to not suggest this company to guests
Location, being in the centre of the old city, where the Istanbulus live a 21st century life surrounded by centuries-old buildings and fragments of the Byzantine and Ottoman past. Ease of access to wider Istanbul. The calls tp prayers, particularly beautiful at dawn and sunset.
The overwhelming numbers of tourist and touts: but that's the old city in the tourist season!
Excellent location. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
the lady at the reception was so helpful .all reception staff were speaking English, cause in Turkey hardly people speaking English. 2 minutes walk from Agia Sofia and Blue Mosque.
breakfast needs some changes.no fruits at breakfast. room 405 had a small smell of humidity in the shower.
The location was great, just a few minutes walking from the Sultanahmet square and nearby restaurants. Our room was clean and wi-fi was good all the time we were in the hotel.
We asked for the room on the upper floor, and we got one on the 4th floor, right under the rooftop terrace. We stayed there 3 nights and during 2 nights I had to call the reception (at about 2-3 A.M.) because of the noise from up there. Our stay was during Ramadan so there were people who were having their meal at that time there. The receptionist first told me it was Ramadan and that' s the way it was. I expressed my understanding, but also the wish to get some good sleep as we had full day tours on all three days so I really needed a rest. I heard people talking and the noise of moving chairs and dishes was really disturbing. Apart from this, I think front office staff should be more professional. They were not impolite, but, since I worked in tourism, I did not feel their sincere and friendly relation to the guests, not only us. I had a feeling that they were there just because they had to, waiting for a chance to leave the reception desk and have a cigarette in front of the hotel, right on the stairs. I think that was unprofessional, as two receptionist (a young man and a girl) were kind of flirting with each other. I am fine with that, but I think the guests should not notice that. Breakfast was the same every day and if you come at 9 A.M., do not expect much left or that they will refill the plates. There was nobody assisting during the breakfast as well. Terrace has a nice view, but it looks like they do not care if anyone will use it: no flowers, no pillows on the chairs, but a lot of pidgeons that are waiting for you to leave your table and grab the leftovers. And they were huge! Apart from all of this, hotel looks cute and it has a great location, plus it was cheap. Since we came to Istanbul because of Istanbul, I would recommend this hotel as none of the above did not ruin my holidays, it' s just my opinion as we have travelled a lot around Europe and Asia so I am just comparing my last experience with the others.
I really love the beautifully furnished room during our stay.It was very spacious and very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful, and also the wifi connection was excellent. The view from the rooftop restaurant was breathtakingly beautiful.
Construction next door they were loud and working all afternoon it wasn't pleasant to come to the hotel after sightseeing in the morning and try to rest with them bring do loud drilling and hammering
Good breakfast, and location.
Tidy rooms, location is great for sightseeing
This hotel offers a straightforward, friendly and good service. The breakfast buffet was enormous and colourful, the location ideal, and the price - quite good. Smooth wifi and helpful staff. Don't undstand why more people don't book this hotel.
The noise of the nearby mosques. But this is an issue everywhere in istanbul..
The location was perfect for a tour in the old part of the city. Only 10 minutes walk Topkapi Sarayi and Hagia Sofia. The room was new and clean and they have international socket for your chargers.
The staffs were not as helpful with tourist destinations as I might hope. They were trying to sell the day tour when we already said we want to walk around by ourselves. And at the taxi they got us to take to the airport tried to charge us a fixed amount and not use the meter.
I like it, very good location, very good value for money. Very very friendly staff.
The only thing I don't like is ongoing construction works for neighbor building.
The location is ideal (close to the sights, but just off the main drag so no traffic or chaos), the breakfast spread was top notch.
In my room, the mattress was well past its time.
The position near to many major attractions was just right. It was also interesting just wandering around the surrounding area.. The fact that the tv coverage of the world cup on my set was installed for me on my first night.
When I arrived and during my stay the toilet was grubby and some of the furnishings were shabby. The fact that no one could install the coverage of the world cup on my tv the second night, although it was playing in the foyer. With so much interest in this event and the fact that many of the surrounding restaurants were featuring it I wonder why tv sets in the rooms were not automatically tuned in to it.
Location, room designe and personnel
Brakfest and terrace

The hotel manager and his handling of the bad with me and reached the hotel and told the receptionist that I will go out five p.m. instead of clock 12:00 for the existence of delayed flight and Wenta and forbearance Mandk any problem on the second day related to the hotel manager ask me looks or pay and without any respect and treated CNN and say I am the manager and I am who I decide.
Comfortable clean room in great location. Friendly staff. Good value for money!
Good location in Sultanahmet - a touristy area, but you can easily get to most of Istanbul's major sites from there. Just a block or two from the tram stop, Blue Mosque, & Ayasofia. Rooftop breakfast was good!
Room was basic. Clean, functional, but no view.
The location and the wi-fi
Poor beds, poor breakfast, very unfriendly front of house staff, very unhelpfull
the location of the hotel was very good near the Sultanahmet tram station and near the city's main attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful.
the hotel is not clean!!!we checked in to a room that had a dusty toilet; hair on the walls of the shower as well as shampoo/conditioner stains. the other room had dirty cups and used tissue behind the nightstand. the hotel has thin walls so you can hear everything in the halls and neighboring rooms
