The hotel building, which was first built as the house of Sokhollu Pasha (the prominent Ottoman Grand Veziir who lived between 1512 and 1560), was later restored to become a modern accommodation for visitors.
The hotel, having a typical 16th century dwelling in its periphery is at a short distance to the centre coastal road and the sea, which can be reached with a few minutes walk.
