location, restaurant, free shuttle to Ephesus and other places, friendly staff.

We bought a rug at the hotel store and was told it would be mended before it was shipped to our address. This was not done. Otherwise the rug is beautiful. The beer was overpriced at the restaurant.

The location is wonderful. Close to Enphesus and the guesthouse also offers shuttle bus. Room is small but very cosy and I love the balcony a lot.

    Almost nothing.

room was incredibly small and uncofortable. The room was somehow smelling but not suitabe to open the window due to other rooms air conditioning engine just in front.

This was an amazing surprise to find this gem in this area. The staff more than friendly and so helpful we felt like family. They could not have done more to make our stay as great as it was and as for the lovely meals in the evening on the roof terrace - just what we wanted after a full day on the go.

    The location

The service was unpleasant, putting pressure on guests and trying to cheat us with the Menu. The waiter is indeed in a hurry: he needs time to drink beer, smoke and use his computer during service time! The only friendly word comes when collecting your money. On top of that our room was small, dark, with no air, the wall paper was falling apart and the plastic door of the bathroom was covered with rust. The quality of hotels in Turkey has improved drastically in the last few years, but this place reminded us of 10 years ago standards. Wake up!

The quirky ornate Italianate / ottoman wall decorations were fun and unique. The staff were very helpful to us. The terrace breakfast and dining room was very pleasant. The location can't be beat as it is right beside the St John basilica ruins and newly reopened citadel.

Menu choices were a bit limited for dinner. The rooms were a bit small.

Very helpful staff who will drop you at the top gate of Ephesus and pick you up. Spectacular roof top restaurant to relax and enjoy the view and the storks. Associated shop has superb art ceramics and rugs.

    Rooms are small.

The location and free shuttle to Ephesus was great. The rooms were compact but beautifully furnished as was the hotel. Excellent breakfast on the roof terrace with great views.

The attitude of staff appeared to change once it was apparent we weren't going to buy a carpet. Some beautiful goods on sale in the hotel shop and interesting information about the making of the carpets but owners need to realise some people are on a budget.

Free shuttle bus to to Ephesus was unexpected and much appreciated

Rooms tiny, but hardly a criticism given their beauty and the overall ambience

Excellent location...a family run hotel with very helpful staff. The restaurant on the roof offers a wonderful view on the whole village and on St-John castle. They also own a carpet and ceramic boutique where you can buy beautiful piece of art at a decent price. A definitely + in my book.

We felt very welcomed. One of the owners personally sat down with us to work on a great itinerary which was perfect! An employee dropped my family off at a restaurant on his way home. Where in the world do you get that kind of service? I've never seen that kind of hospitality in my life! Highly recommend this hotel.

    All good!

Great deal and location. I know Selcuk and some hotels are very difficult to find with a car. This one is right next to St. John and has sufficient space for parking. Owner Erol Bey and staff Erdem were very helpful and polite. Good breakfast.

Rooms have been decorated in a little bit Orientalist style, not a big deal though. Very cute hotel.

Well designed, clean, comfortable, awesome food, helpful staff, great value.

Being asked multiple times (every day) by the owner to look at rugs and ceramics. I am sure they were great, but it's kind of rude to expect all your guests to go through a carpet sales pitch, as if there is not enough of that already going on in Turkey. A hotel should be a hotel, if you have a store attached, don't pressure your guests to look in it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful in planning our activities. The decor was rich and our room, though smallish, was quite comfortable. But Bella Hotel's best asset is it's rooftop terrace and restaurant, which for us was the perfect place to relax, eat well, and enjoy the view after an energetic day sight-seeing.

The location was convenient and the hotel itself was beautiful.

My room was smaller than simillar grade hotels and with a window facing other room's window in 1m distance. It was beside the stair and I couldn't sleep because of noises of passing people.

Location was ideal and very close to where main part of town is. Staff are very friendly and makes the effort to orientate you the surroundings and attractions. Food at hotel restaurant is pretty good and the dining terrace is lovely. They offer complimentary drive to and from Ephesus

Do not that the tour packages offered by the hotel. They may tell you it's a small group of max 15 people but your pickup bus joins a large group of about 25 people. I had 2 Full Day tours and on both days, the guides' English (different guides) weren't good and could not give in-depth information and history on the sights we visited. The rooms were rather tight and I had barely enough space for the my suitcase. However, I didn't mind it all that much. The bathroom shower head is rather odd. I'll try my best to explain... the jets on the shower head goes around the circumference of the shower head but not in the middle so your water kinda comes out in a circle but there is no water in the middle.
