Oda temizliğinin yapılacağını önceden bildrimemiz gerektiği söylenmedi ve odamız biz söylemediğimiz için temizlenmemişti.Personel çok sıcak kanlı ve misafirperver olduğu söylenemez.Deniz manzaralı oda en üst katta ve asansör malesef yok.kahvaltı salonu güzel dekore edilmiş fakat herhangi pencere yada gün ışığı olmaması sebebiyle sıkıcı.

Lovely rooms, beautifully decorated. Friendly owner who gave us a free ride to Ephesus. Great views from the rooftop restaurant.

Bella Hotel is a delightfully quaint Turkish hotel. The staff is very welcoming and made us feel at home. The Turkish decor was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast (included) was very generous and tasty and our dinners there were also very good. Staff was extremely helpful with suggestions and transport to local sites. Couldn't have been happier with this hotel!

Decor was lovely,art work, no pressure to purchase goods. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Great terrace. Storks were a bonus.

Superb location on hillside near places of historical interest. Roof top terrace for breakfast and evening meal with great views. Attractively decorated interior of hotel. Excellent breakfasts

Room a little small and cramped

Beautiful carpets and ceramics everywhere. Transportion to Ephesus was a great perk. Dinner on the terrace was good and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for a visit to Ephesus.

Room was very very small so really couldn't open a suitcase and use the bed at the same time.

Friendly staff, brilliant location, very good breakfasts and evening meal as an extra at a very good price.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I arrived Erdal, one of the owners, met me on the beautiful rooftop terrace and explained the different tour options in the area to me. He made a lot of effort to see that I was able to visit the sites I wanted to see and arranged for a few hours in Srinice as well as helping me find a tour which would take me to Priene, Miletus and Didyma. The rooftop terrace was perfect for people watching, drinking tea, etc. and the set meal is an excellent dinner option for a very reasonable price. The shop attached has some of the most beautiful ceramics that I saw while I was in Turkey.

A chair in the room would have been nice.

Cramped/small bedroom and bathroom (standard room at least); our friends' room (facing street) was noisy from street and smelled unpleasant (like sewage); compact small hotel where can hear other guests (doors, walking, bathrooms, etc.) (somewhat normal for small local hotel)

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Dinner and drinks were good and well priced. Free shuttles appreciated. Presence of a shop would be good for some..not for others. I felt a bit like a hotel guest and potential client at the same time. For me one of these is enough. Nicely decorated and ok value

The meal we had at the restaurant on the top floor was excellent. We've enjoyed all of our food in Turkey & this meal was as good as any. Breakfast was also very good. Transport to/from Ephesus + the loan of a guide book.

Not really a dislike but the provision of tea/coffee/kettle wold be an improvement, as would a refrigerator.

The Bella Hotel was a wonderful place to stay--the staff was helpful and friendly, the lobby, rooms and lovely, roof-top breakfast area decorated in a tasteful and 'traditional Turkish' fashion. It was one of the most beautiful and delightful hotels I have stayed at in my travels throughout Europe

Everything was well-done

It was wonderful to be opposite beautiful ruins of a Roman aquaduct and the church dedicated to St John. If only we'd visited a few weeks earlier we would have seen storks nesting justacross the road! The roof terrace was a relaxed and beautiful place to sit and read, enjoy a drink or have a meal - a real delight. The staff made appealing animals from the clean towels - elephants, swans, snakes - a humorous touch that we appreciated. We felt that any request was no trouble for the staff who were really helpful in directing us to the best places nearby. Having a beautiful shop attached was a great temptation to spend!!

We felt that we would have been treated a little differently if we'd been rich Americans.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated in Turkish decor. Access to beautiful terrace for relaxing as well as meals was appreciated.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to locate our glasses which were lost in buses or taxis between Izmir and Selcuk. After locating them, they arranged for us to collect them from our next forward destination. An outstanding level of service which was much appreciated.

Overall a good value for money. The hotel decoration is very nice. We also like their terrace restaurant.

Some of the hotel staff are not very friendly, especially the man who probably is the owner was quite rude to us when he knew that we bought a carpet from other shops (they run a jewelry-cum-carpet shop just next to the hotel). I think we don't have any obligation to visit or buy from their shop even if we stay at their hotel.

Everything! My Turkish colleague recommend this place as the "perfect hotel in Selcuk" and she was absolutely right. The rooms are gorgeous, the location excellent, the staff exceptionally helpful and informative, and the meals were terrific. It was worth having dinner in their lovely upstairs restaurant. If you are going to Ephesus (Efes), I would strongly recommend that you make this quaint part of Selcuk your base. I wish I had allocated 3 days to just relax and enjoy the hotel. I should add that they have a shop in the hotel that sells high quality ceramics, boxes, rugs etc. We bought some tiles rather on impulse and was pleased to see that the bazaar in Istanbul was offering less nice items for twice the price. For a lot of haggling you might do as well in Istanbul as you can get at the store price at Bella.

It was perfect, honestly!

We liked the hosts of the hotel. They were very courteous throughout our stay. The proximity to Ephesus and orher sites is a great plus point.

I found the room too small for the price (75 euro per night). Food for vegetarians is a bit of a issue due to the set items cooked
