This converted Ottoman Mansion is along the banks of the Bosphorus Strait, 325 ft from the Blue Mosque. Its breakfast restaurant features panoramic views of the Marmara Sea.
Score from 553 reviews Very good
Staff were very helpful. Hotel was very comport.it was very cheap hotel.they recommended me In Kumluca restaurant so It was horrible food.I don't recommend touristic places,s restaurant. There is fantastic local fish house In Samantha. It was soo good.very small house but everything is fresh.
The view breakfast the staff the evening snacks and drinks location the heating in the room
Location, Staff and the room cleanness. Also, they offer free tea and coffee all day.
Some of Tv channels are not suitable for children. I prefer to delete these channels. In my room, the cell phone reception is weak
Staff will do anything to maintain a 9+ average in what is otherwise a pretty standard hotel. Very friendly, so many little "extras". Great location for visiting the main tourist sites. ( I'd recommend staying here for a couple of nights, but for a longer stay you really should check out Galata / Pera area too, so you're not stuck in the heavily touristed area.)
All of the little "extras" (food, drink, souvenirs) ultimately come out of your nightly fee! It is not a cheap hotel for Turkey, and part of this is spent on using extra gifts to drive up their score on sites like this. ("I've been generous with you, so you be generous with me, *wink wink*) Seems a little... cynical? Sure this place deserves about an 8.5, but a 9.1? I'm not so sure... No real view from our room, moderately noisy (glass bottles being shuffled around) and bathroom is too small, with sitting on the toilet feeling really cramped. It's a bit of a tired hotel, with the quality of the stay elevated by great packaging and very eager to please staff.
This hotel is what they say have everything right
The hotel staff we excellent and nothing was too much trouble. There were also lots of free extras eg. free drinks and snacks between 5pm and 10pm. Great location too.
The bed was particularly firm and very uncomfortable, a shame really as everything else was excellent.
The reason we initially booked was the fantastic price. But once we arrived, we found it was anything but a budget hotel; Gokan, Muhammed and Yusuf made us feel like family, their service, advice and hospitality is a credit to Turkey, not just the hotel! Breakfast was always good, complimentary tea/coffee throughout the day always welcomed! Location could not have been better - just 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque and AyiaSofia. The rooms themselves were immaculate, clean and tidy, and always tidied and restocked daily. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend Best Point Hotel to anyone wanting a hassle-free stay in Istanbul, whether alone, with friends or family.
No English channels on TV - I missed my football! ;P
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful during the stay Real fast was nice
Initial welcome by some member were very stressful especially the delay in getting room and paper work
Close to public transportation and easy to locate using a map. But had few problems with taxis to find it. Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming. Price was Okay for the location but the room would be small for two people. Close to attractions and a Bazaar. Loved it and I would stay there again.
The room was small specially for two people.
Everything was great - location, food, room, bathroom, large nad varied breakfast, thoughtful touches like towel warmers, free food and wine in the evenings, and a coffee at check-in. Fast wifi and a very comfortable sleep. But the staff really shone - they were warm, helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Probably the most welcoming and hospitable experience I've had over hundreds of hotels at every price range on five continents. Best Point was a fantastic value and I can't wait to go back.
Can't think of a single thing I'd change about my stay.
everything was excellent highly recommended, location, extremely helpful and organised staff etc
Great location, helpful staff and excellent evening refreshments. Would book again and would recommended.
Staff, breakfest, afternoon tea, clean, confortable and near turistic points.
Room to small.
Very welcoming staff with great attention to our every need and beyond Great breakfast with plenty of choice and nice view Location is perfect in the old city district for visiting Istanbul's most famous monuments, everything is accessible on foot
Sound isolation in the room could have been better but far from being an inconvenience
Great location, near to Blue Mosque and all other landmarks. Walking distance to all. Excellent staff, kudos to Mustafa who helped us with information about tours, Ozan and Thaksin for making my stay with my friends really a pleasant one and comfortable. They are so friendly and funny. View at breakfast terrace was awesome. Just to take note, no lift but worth the 5 level of stairs climbing.
The staff are very friendlyv
Very small rooms
Hotel locate in old city. It's take just 5 minute walk to Sultanamet square. There is so many restaurant surround hotel area. Staffs are very helpful, polite. Breakfast is great.
Terrace restaurant is on the top of hotel(5th floor), so aged traveller can have problem to go for breakfast.
very spacious room and toilet full of all necessary amenities the hotel serves complimentary cold mezze, wine, cakes, cookies and tea in the evening. They have a very friendly guy at the reception who introduced us to the area when we arrived. Later when we came back in the evening from a tour, he invited us to the complimentary snacks and asked us if we wanted to sit outside. Since it was cold, he told us he would turn the heater on. It was really nice of him and we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. excellent breakfast, huge variety and everything was delicious. Mohammed, one of the server, looked after us really well and asked us to feel like home rather than hotel. The hotel terrace where breakfast is served, offers stunning views of the blue mosque and hagia sofia.
No orange juice at breakfast; the only breakfast that I have ever had without an orange juice I could hear people walking outside the room whenever they walked past.
I not only found a great hotel in a location Clair to the major attractions, I found a staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Wonderful breakfast, appetizers, including wine or beer, in the afternoon. Suggestions for restaurants and shopping were excellent. A staff member even accompanied me to a shop on my first morning.
I liked everything!
Location, staff, breakfast
A drone like noise at night was a bit annoying. Maybe it was the main air con unit, not really sure what it was.
All part is perfect
Location, the guy from the reception was very kind. Welcoming coffee and water in the room (free of charge).
Poor WiFi, breakfast, annex room (near reception so noisy.. ) This place is much overrated.Too expensive for how it is, what it offers.Pictures create false impression.
Highly recommend !! This is a very good hotel in a good location, good service , good Apple tea ( it's free ) . Very nice staff and professional service .
Drinks and snacks available during the evening and sage advice for the times of the mosques\sites. Shuttle service from airport was free.... If you stayed longer than 3 days. 25 euro if not--take a cab instead. Very nice room with cute amenities and local feel.
300 channels of satellite tv and nothing good for English speakers... Maybe 3 channels. View of Blue mosque as advertised was only from the roof terrace, not the room
Location, breakfast in the terrace, And friendly attitude of the staff
