The location is just superb. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is well maintained and cleaned. Has an elevator. The room was plain and small, but had a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Excellent hotel for the cost. Would stay there again.

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly at reception. The central location is perfect for sight seeing and the tram is on the door step which makes travel around the city very easy. This hotel is all about location.

The hotel is aged and could be doing with some money being spent on repair to bring up to a standard. Breakfast very basic and the same every day. Cleaners have no respect for do not disturb signs and continue making lots of noise. 10 oclock is when breakfast is finished and as far as house keeping is concerned everyone should be out of the hotel.

The location is good and it is good value for the price. Clean and efficient - it was sufficient for a simple stay as we needed a city hotel room only for a 10 hour layover for our flight out. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional in assisting us for our transfer to the airport.

The hotel is a little dated and in need of a refurbishment soon, but the hotel and rooms themselves while dated were clean and comfortable.and had decent amenities. The main entrance to the hotel was not on street level but required some stair climbing walking up to or down from the 2 alternate streets. This was not easy if you had any heavy luggage since you need to reach the entrance first before getting any assistance from the willing staff.

We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and hence I choose to stay in this hotel again. But this time round the hotel room that was given to me was really bad. Most of the roof dripped all night long. When I told the Hotel staff in the morning they told me that "thank you for telling us we do not know of these things since the guests in the room". I was astonished as to how they did not know about a dripping roof, don't they check the hotel room before giving it to the guest. Anyway I used to recommend this hotel to people going to Istanbul but would now ask them to look for a different hotel in the same area.

The best attribute of the hotel is undoutedly its location, although a certain degree of traffic noise comes along with this. It may be considered relatively good value for money due to its location, but the hotel iand its rooms are quite dated and the service level, although friendly, is somewhat limited by the small number of staff. The breakfast service could certainly be improved upon.

We like location best. This is a very good hotel for those who come to Istanbul to see the city tourist attractions (near Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, near Bazar, etc.).The rooms are clean - a suggestrion: do not stay in triple room. Ask for a double and a single room instead! Waiters and the ladies who clean the rooms are more helpfull than the staf at the reception (with one or two exceptions).Recomand.

Very close to famous attractions as hagia sofia,(next door), blue mosque, dining, transportation stops,tour starting points

1)Lighting inside the room was bad as we could not read anything in the night and the visibility inside the room was too low during the night due to bad lighting. 2)FOR BREAKFAST AT THE RESTAURANT, NOBODY TO ATTEND THE GUESTS
