Central location Friendly personnel Clean and tidy rooms

Loud music from the café across the street till midnight. Maybe, a better windows sound insulation would do?

I liked the location very much. The people in the hotel were also very kind and helped us when we neaded them.

We enjoyed staying at Saint Sophia Hotel although it was just for a day. It is very well located at the center of the old city 'Sultanahmet' close to museums, mosques and the big market place "Kapalicharsi".

The location for this hotel is very nice. Close to St.Sophia and Sultan Ahment Mosque.

Breakfast for this hotel is quite poor

The location is good and it is good value for the price. Clean and efficient - it was sufficient for a simple stay as we needed a city hotel room only for a 10 hour layover for our flight out. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional in assisting us for our transfer to the airport.

The hotel is a little dated and in need of a refurbishment soon, but the hotel and rooms themselves while dated were clean and comfortable.and had decent amenities. The main entrance to the hotel was not on street level but required some stair climbing walking up to or down from the 2 alternate streets. This was not easy if you had any heavy luggage since you need to reach the entrance first before getting any assistance from the willing staff.

Really small bedrooms and bathrooms. Staff tried to rip me off at every opportunity and didn't offer anything at all. No other facilities like recreational, pool or restaurant.

The best attribute of the hotel is undoutedly its location, although a certain degree of traffic noise comes along with this. It may be considered relatively good value for money due to its location, but the hotel iand its rooms are quite dated and the service level, although friendly, is somewhat limited by the small number of staff. The breakfast service could certainly be improved upon.

The location could not have been better--right next to the Hagia Sophia. A block or two from the palace and all its museums and very near the blue mosque. Also it was close to several good eating places. The free shuttle from the airport was very good and solved the problem of accessing the hotel. [It is hard to get to this location.] Hotel staff mainly attentive and helpful. [Beds changed every day, ac worked well, two keys were provided when we asked for them for example.]

It is a very old building and the steps are uneven everywhere. Higher, shorter, often rough. Outside the access to the hotel is extremely bad. It is on a stiff slope with rough cobblestones and loose rock and dirt. You must either go uphill or down hill to the street. Nothing is level anywhere in the place. Also the bathroom is very small. But because of the location you can put up with a lot!!!!

Very friendly hotel staff. Good Cleaning service. Nice rooms. Perfect located.

The breakfast is not so varieted.

The room are really badly isolated. I had the feeling the tram was going through my room all night long. Also I could hear the TV from the room next door.
