We do requested quite rooms and higher floor if possible. Instead we were given rooms on the 3rd floor, facing the main street.
Requested non smoking rooms. The sheets in my room, including the pillow, had this heavy cigar-smoke smell, plus the curtains had few burned spots.
We paid for breakfast upfront. On the other day we had to pay in cash TL 30 per person, which were later on refunded, but still.
Arrived at the hotel and we were offered 1 apartment instead of 3 single rooms. Reason - electricity problem. After a short discussion, it suddenly turned out that the single rooms are just fine, with no sign of any problem at all. And I can keep on counting issues, as well as the lack of decent Wi-Fi but let's put it this way - it is Turkey, i-net sux everywhere, and people do tend to repeat all the time "OK, Alright, no problem" when it is all wrong and messed up..
Besides the cigar-smoke, the room was clean. Hotel looks new and nice, situated on a business street. Good breakfast. Many shopping areas and restaurants on a walking distance. Close to subway station.
