The Breakfast The location The attendant, Shaker, who was fantastic
Rooms were a tad bit small but then again I chose the cheapest so no surprises!
There's is very little not to dislike about this place. Very close to the metro and craziness of Taksim Sq.
I only had two issues, and one was totally outside of their control. The first one was the construction going on outside of our room in the adjacent property which woke us up at 7:30 each morning. The second issue was make sure you dont get room 13. This room is on the bottom floor beside the elevator and opposite the lobby. With room 13 being on the ground floor all elevator traffic has to pass next to this room and people often congregated outside the elevator talking loudly, kids yelling, and luggage being hauled/banged around. This ordinarily wouldn't have been a problem but everybody seemed to checkout out very early in the morning.
Rooms interior and decoration Bed and matress Shower and batroom Hairdryer
Temporary construction at building across the street
The location is only few minutes from the havatas buses and from the metro station .. Although very central but not in a noisy street. The hotel staff all speak english and they try to help you in everything. .. They gave us very good tips which made our holiday better .. The bed is very comfortable and the room had a kettle too .. What you ask for will be in the room within minutes ... Very good service .. Keep it up
Sometimes no one to make an omlette for breakfast .. But the rest was great ..
It was our second visit in Istanbul at the same hotel: Borancik Suites. We enjoyed a lot being accomodated at Borancik Suites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about :) We are definetly going to return there.
I have been in istanbul 5 times but this hotel is the worset in my lifetime not only in istanbul , it smells sooooo bad and the toilet is so small but thank god that i am not fat so i manged to get in and out , there was a noise in the early morning so i could not sleep , and the bad smell lasted one day later in my nose ,any way i have alot to complain on but in short dose not deserve to spent one TL
The hotel is very clean and stuff very friendly. The hotel 4 away from the Taksim square which is very central and end-station for the airport shuttle.
There is a construction site near the hotel which started work at 8am every morning. This is quite inconvenient if you want to sleep in until later. Morning cuddle is out of the question.
The site very near to bus station, metro station and of course estiklal street.., staff are very kind and helpful., rooms are clean .. Its perfect for istanbul as u dont spend much time in your hotel.
Its better for them to cancel the breakfast. Not their thing
Very friendly and helpful stuff Quite quiet street :-) A few steps from Taksim Good Wifi You can have a fresh omelet or scrambled eggs for breakfast. AC is quiet and bad confortable
Nothing (just small disadvantage for us: king-size type of the blanket - we are not used to it. We were bit fighting :-)
I recommend this brand new, clean, and comfort hotel with reasonable price. It has elevator. Breakfast was so so, not bad..
Outside view was bad (at opposite direction, construction is on-going)
-The Suites are very close to Taksim Square (approximately 200 metres) -The staff working there is very kind and helpful -The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious -The rooms (including the bathroom) are very clean -Staying there is great value for money
-The breakfast could include more products. Also, considering that the place where it is served is at the roof of the hotel,it would be nicer if the food was not exposed to the sunlight.
Very good location, nice and kind staff, good breakfast, clean rooms..simply everything was great. I highly recommed this hotel.
Location, friendly staff, comfortable room, nice breakfast
Wifi cut out twice while we were there but once we informed the staff they fixed it straight away.
Hotel locates near Taksim on quiet street. Stuff is very friendly. Wi-fi good.
For the first time, it is hard to find hotel. Use phone navigator.
Borancik Suites, was a very good place to stay in Istanbul. 2 minutes walk from Taksim square. The Staff were very kind, helpful and have good advices and recommandations. Room was clean, the bed was good also, big and confortable and the wifi was fast. All good. Thanks.
Everything in this hotel is great! I will be back for sure!
Exceptional hospitality from the staff. A warm, relaxed and friendly (homely) atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and obliging at all times. No request was a problem and staff attended to all requests most promptly. Thank you Ercument and staff for a most enjoyable stay.
Location close to Taxim, cozy rooms, very clean, friendly and polite staff, rich breakfast, new furniture and beautiful embroidered curtains (each one slightly different from others), new elevator. In fact, we were even offered buffet breakfast on the roof terrace on the day of our arrival since we arrived early (around 8 a.m.). On the departure date, we received a HUGE breakfast in the room, which lasted us through the day. The staff accommodated every request and was available any time.
We booked a deluxe room, but the only difference seemed to be (as it was explained to us by the staff) that deluxe rooms were on the back side, which was supposed to be quieter. Unfortunately, there is a new building being constructed right next to the hotel backside (not the hotels' fault), so the street side (where we changed on the second day) seemed to be quieter. The bathrooms are small in all rooms, although the shower is quite spacious. We changed rooms because the shower door did not close properly owing to a missing roller. The hotel description on booking.com says that the rooms have authentic furniture. We have not seen any "authentic furniture" as all the furniture was new and quite standard (this is not a problem, just a discrepancy with the description). It would have been nice to get a more detailed tourist map of the central tourist part of Istanbul. Also, we would have appreciated it if the staff could provide advise on the local public transport routes. In our case, we asked how we could get to the Maritime museum, and we recommended to walk there, although we figured out later that there were buses going there from Taxim and we could at least have taken the funicular to Kabatas to save some walking. Those were all minor remarks.
good location very clean room
Breakfast is brief Alley of hotel and surrounding buildings are very poor, you can see beggers are hanging out around but in general you experience a comfortable stay.
Very close to taksim and the metro. Staff was great and helpful. Rooms were cozy and lovely furnished
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean room. Ease of transportation to main attractions
Long time for hot water to come in bathroom Breakfask could be better
The hotel is located in a quite street near Taksim Square. The staff is very courteous and was available 24 hrs. The breakfast spread provided was good. The rooms are decorated very nicely and have a coffee and tea service. The hotel is quite new and the bathroom was quite modern and nice.
Please ask the hotel staff for getting a taxi in the area as taxi drivers around Taksim Square tend to over charge for even short distances.
very friendly and helpfull staff
very small bathroom, at least for the economy room
The staff was extremely helpfull. Ercument - who spoke English very well - was professional, nice, friendly, available to you at any time and I would say the best receptionist I've ever met. The underground station close to the hotel provides easy access to the rest of touristic points.
