The staff were wonderful, the free buffet breakast was substantial and the location of the hotel is incredible! The bed was spongey and not what I was used to. Other than that, I have no complaints. |

The staff and location are both top notch. Very helpful in providing information for walking tours of the area and things to do. Lovely lady helping with the breakfast which was quite good. This is an older hotel so the rooms were a little small but that was expected. |

The location and how quiet the hotel was, as in street and traffic noise, excellant. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed, the room was comfortable with a mini bar, kettle and drink facilities. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in, and finally Ibraham and his staff, polite, friendly and so helpful, what more could you ask. |

Clean rooms, good beds, superb location to visit old city, mosque and catch the tram to Taksim. Rooms are small, but that is normal in the old city of Istanbul. Excellent service by Ibrahim, the hotelmanager. He knows where to eat the best fish and where no tourists come, just around the corner. |

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The delicious and generous breakfast was served at the roof top terrace with magnificent views of the Sea of Marmara and the Blue Mosque. Location was perfect for sightseeing and the street itself was quaint. Our children (ages 8, 12 and 14) felt very welcome as well. We would definitely stay here again. |

The hotel is located in a central touristic location, close to many attractions. It is also located very near to the sea. I prefer to stay in small "boutique" hotels. My girlfriend and I were given a room on the 3rd floor and it was ok (everything worked including A/C, WiFi). The breakfast terrace had a nice view. The hotel is in bad need of a facelift. General decor looks stale; the room was ok but the shower stall was on its last legs (old and barely functional). The quality of the terrace breakfast was barely acceptable. Given that Turkey is a land of oranges, the orange "juice" served with breakfast is horrible (some type of powder mix). A traditional Turkish breakfast with eggs, cheese and olives would have been far better. The part that really turned me off, is that the receptionist guy tried to hit on my girl within seconds of my leaving the reception room to get luggage!!! |
