Good location between 3 different transportation lines (Tramway and 2 metros); clean rooms and spacious; tidy hotel; good breakfast; good shower; available WiFi
Noise from outside at the rush hour and other rooms
location is near the touristic location of sultan ahmed
small bathroom it's more of 3 star hotel
Location is excellent bus station is direct in front of the hotel , tram is 3 min walk, metro station is 7 min walk(metro station is new so you will not find it on map) alot of shops and supermarkets and restaurants is around the hotel every where. ....... public park behind the hotel... Room was big and comfortable beds..... Check in in 10 min ....... 2 hours late check out ....... breakfast was standard with cheese , meats , soup, and cakes........value for money. ....... great hotel will go back again
Definitely a hotel worth staying for many nights. Cleaning was just perfect. Location was extremely good. It is right in the middle of many historical and other sights, you could either walk (between 1 and 4 klm you will find Hagia Sophia, Taksim, Orthodox Patriarchate, Suleymaniye, Capali Carsi -covered bazzar-, Tower of Galata, etc) or take a bus or the tram. All is right there for you. The service was excellent too, especially two members of the stuff with the same name (Yunus) were so kind and helpful! I will remember them! Finding service like this, is rare. Also, the waiters were fast and effective and they gave us treats. Do not forget to use the spa service also.
The food was too spicy for me but they were still willing to help me with my stomach problems. However, this is the food in Turkey and we travelers have to accept that! Furthermore, the sound proof of the building wasn't excellent, but it didn't bother us. Moreover, there was a small problem with the T.V. There were numerous channels but most of them were locked. Still, many Arabic and Italian channels were available.
I liked the staff, their smiling faces and cooperation the food was ok ..Thank you
The breakfast buffet variety was poor wished for more ..and the bathrooms banio was not comfortable...
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Big rooms, comfortable bed, the room is clean. The hotel is 200 meters from the tram station - t1 line (Aksaray station). Good breakfast.
The check in is at 14.00 and at 9.00, the same day, before I got to the hotel, they charged my card with the cost of the stay. The sauna is not for free. It costs 10 euro/person.
The staff met all of our needs that we requested. Quiet room, good a/c. The breakfast they served in the morning was incredible. Staff was most helpful making us welcome and giving us information about the area.
There was nothing about this place that we didn't like.
Brilliant breakfast , happy and helpful stuff, always clean and hygienic.Short distance to tram station easy to access old town so location is perfect.
The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful.
Location wasn't the best doe Istanbul. Short walk to the tram but still put of the way. The bathrooms needed some help. You could hear the wind blowing outside when you were in the bathroom, and the lighting in there was gloomy. The walls were so thin! One night we heard a full conversation going on in our neighbours room and then heard him snoring all night long. They didnt have a clothes iron which is important to me. If you wanted your clothing ironed you had to pay to have their laundry department do it for you. Overall, not a 4 star hotel. I would rate it a 3.
The restaurant in hotel was good. Internet in room was good.
You can hear neighbours. Need more electrical outlets in room.
*the room with bad smell The bathroom was dirty and no shampoo replacement The room without isolation Breakfast charge me for fried eggs The rate was expensive in compare to value I don't recommend to book at this hotel at all
Really great location, clean, & friendly staff. For the most part, everyone spoke English. The room we stayed in was super clean and comfortable. Even the bathroom was clean. We had a queen size bed and a twin size bed. We asked for a crib for the baby and were able to fit between the two beds. The breakfast was pretty good as well. They had a large variety of different options to choose from. There was a guy in the restaurant named Aiden or Ayden that would play and entertain my son while we enjoyed our breakfast. I could tell he didn’t want to disturb us, but at the same time, he enjoyed playing with my little one. He was super sweet. Nazr at the front desk was very kind and helpful. He spoke really good Arabic and English as well. He checked us in and provided us with city maps and helped us book a tour for the following day.
I’m not sure if it was coincidental or not, but when it rained we lost internet connectivity and the tv signal. No biggie, we lived! I'd still recommend this hotel to anyone as the positive outweighed this by far.
- comfortable bed
- poor and same breakfast, no fruits; - sound isolation (I can hear that doing my neighbour; - noise from road, view to highway - no information about cost of phone, expensive cost to local call;
Home feeling of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help.
Thin walls. Quality of toiletries.
Excellent family room (4pax) in Penthouse, huge terrace with view to Bosporus!
poorly sealed doors and from there noisy room
The staff at Bulvar Palas are not just good -- they are exceptional. Everyone spoke fluent English, were accommodating beyond belief (we arrived at 6 a.m. hoping just to check our bags while we went sightseeing and they offered to rush making up a room for us so we could get in there at 10 a.m. without being asked). They also let us check out late without hassle. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked with toiletries, and exceptionally clean. We didn't use the in-hotel spa, but it also looked nice. The hotel is slightly far away from the major tourist destinations, but makes up for it by being close to the Tramvay (Aksaray stop) and closer to the airport and main bus station, which makes getting in and out of Istanbul slightly easier.
Distance to/from tourist destinations.
I like this hotel. It's a very small hotel but it's nice and clean. Staff are friendly. They have good breakfast .
The breakfast was very good, the room big and comfortable, the staff friendly.
Reception barely spoke English, the room key had our room number on it (not safe)
The stuff. The position (near to tram) but very noise.
Not value for money. Not clean. Not very good breakfast.
