    The staff met all of our needs that we requested. Quiet room, good a/c. The breakfast they served in the morning was incredible. Staff was most helpful making us welcome and giving us information about the area.

    There was nothing about this place that we didn't like.

    The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

    Location wasn't the best doe Istanbul. Short walk to the tram but still put of the way. The bathrooms needed some help. You could hear the wind blowing outside when you were in the bathroom, and the lighting in there was gloomy. The walls were so thin! One night we heard a full conversation going on in our neighbours room and then heard him snoring all night long. They didnt have a clothes iron which is important to me. If you wanted your clothing ironed you had to pay to have their laundry department do it for you. Overall, not a 4 star hotel. I would rate it a 3.

    Really great location, clean, & friendly staff. For the most part, everyone spoke English. The room we stayed in was super clean and comfortable. Even the bathroom was clean. We had a queen size bed and a twin size bed. We asked for a crib for the baby and were able to fit between the two beds. The breakfast was pretty good as well. They had a large variety of different options to choose from. There was a guy in the restaurant named Aiden or Ayden that would play and entertain my son while we enjoyed our breakfast. I could tell he didn’t want to disturb us, but at the same time, he enjoyed playing with my little one. He was super sweet. Nazr at the front desk was very kind and helpful. He spoke really good Arabic and English as well. He checked us in and provided us with city maps and helped us book a tour for the following day.

    I’m not sure if it was coincidental or not, but when it rained we lost internet connectivity and the tv signal. No biggie, we lived! I'd still recommend this hotel to anyone as the positive outweighed this by far.

    - comfortable bed

    - poor and same breakfast, no fruits; - sound isolation (I can hear that doing my neighbour; - noise from road, view to highway - no information about cost of phone, expensive cost to local call;

    The staff at Bulvar Palas are not just good -- they are exceptional. Everyone spoke fluent English, were accommodating beyond belief (we arrived at 6 a.m. hoping just to check our bags while we went sightseeing and they offered to rush making up a room for us so we could get in there at 10 a.m. without being asked). They also let us check out late without hassle. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked with toiletries, and exceptionally clean. We didn't use the in-hotel spa, but it also looked nice. The hotel is slightly far away from the major tourist destinations, but makes up for it by being close to the Tramvay (Aksaray stop) and closer to the airport and main bus station, which makes getting in and out of Istanbul slightly easier.

    Distance to/from tourist destinations.

    Super friendly staff and very helpful. The room was huge and extremely confortable. Location is also extremely convenient - with very cheap taxi rides you can go to the best touristic attractions in Istanbul.

    The rooms were spacious.

    The location of the hotel is not very good. Although the breakfast looks ok in the pictures, the quality of the goods is rather poor. I do not know the ratings of the hotels in Istanbul, however, compared to european standards, this hotel can be given at most 3 stars.

    The room was clean and well eqipped.

    The receptionist was extremely rude and the room we had suffered with noise from the water system.

    Very clean. Excellent location - only 4 tram stops from main historic sights - 5-10 mins away. We had booked a family room which was two interconnecting rooms on top floor with a large outdoor terrace - spacious and comfortable. Breakfast quite decent.

    Many of staff do not speak English, except the main receptionist. Most were friendly, however, one or two not so friendly. Although location is convenient, the area is not so attractive, but we were out most of the time so this was ok.
