Location was good and an easy walk to the tram and main sites.
Jackhammering started roughly 7am and continued throughout the entire day. Not very conducive to getting rest after a long journey. Staff did not seem to care and told us we should have upgraded from a standard room if we wanted to be away from the noise.
This is the second time we have stayed there. The Manager and staff are extremely helpful.
The walls must be quite thin as we could hear the guests in the next room very clearly.
Very helpful staff, fantastic location and cleanliness
Wifi network was weak
It is near to all attractions of the historical city
They don't offer a free airport ride
There hostess was pleasant and helpful. Handy location, well priced.
Had an issue with aircon, basically told it was working okay and we should be happy at 22 deg we like it cooler so said we would change hotels which got them to fix it. Generally need to be more convivial to guests.
Every time we travel to Istanbul there is no other choice of hotel for us. Prince Hotel is perfectly situated near Topkapi and just a tram station from Aya Sophia and Blue Moschee. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quality of sleep is very good. Breakfast is ok. They offered the guest a free 45 minutes massage which was great after days of walking through the busy streets of Istanbul. Aquarium and Delphinarium are a must in Istanbul. Also Miniaturk is great.
Everything was great. The only option for us in Istanbul.
Location ,breakfast, room space
Not helpful staff specially the bold man in reception noise of construction room service entering without permision not allow us for late check out although we inform them when we booked and the hotel was not fully booked
Location Clean Friendly staff
Noisy from building works around the hotel
Cleaning , staff , location , breakfast very very nice ,,
Price come up three time in a week time ?? We are trying to book for the last three days of from 30 Aug to 3 sep but prices very high ,,
Breakfast very poor. If you like orange juice you must pay 5TL. First time I see something like this. Not worth fot the money
Hotel was within walking distance to main attractions, good selection of restaurants and shops. The room was immaculate & very comfortable. Free access to turkish bath made our stay a very chilled out and relaxing visit.
Location was good.
There was water leak from the ceiling from air conditioning system as soon as we entered our room. We had requested an early check in while booking, but on arrival our rooms were not ready and we were checked in at 1430.
Nice room size (junior suite) and views. very close to the Park and attraction sights. Quite. nice breakfast. The staff was great especially the restaurant's female boss. The hotel is in a very convenient location on a (quiet) street, the beds were comfortable.
Work on the building next door was a bit distracting
Friendly staff (esp. Ms. Richards) Great location (close to many historical landmarks/ restaurants) Clean rooms, comfortable beds
Breakfast employees faculty and staff members Very clean hotel
Hotel Location is excellent for tourists. The Breakfast is good with rich variety. The staff is helpful and polite.
The Website says that Hotel offers Airport pick & drop; but we found out that this offer is not for bookings made through booking.com or other such sites.
The location was alright.
Staff aren't cooperative at all. They can easily ignore you while talking to them as soon as they hear you speak in English. I found that in most times, only one person available at the front desk, who would be answering calls, talk to guests, etc all at once!. There is a Guest Relations Office but it was empty all the time.
The location is fantastic. In few minutes you can reach Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace. I always believe that people can make the difference and in my experience at Prince hotel Jack gave me the best welcome at the Hotel and he gave me the support you could expect only from a an old good friend. Until he will work there Prince will be my first choice. Thanks Jack!
A lot of people that works in this Hotel don't speak english at all. In the morning if you forget to hang on the door the notice "please don't disturb" you can expect people going inside your room without giving you even the time to cover a little. The facilities are poor and I got really upset about the gym where to save energy they usually keep only the emergency light on without A/C. In addition when you explain the problem instead of being sorry they try to convince you that light is fine and A/C is on. During night time there were several people extremely noise and when at 3.00 a.m. in the morning I explain at the reception that I couldn't sleep they just said that they knew it but nothing could be done.
Shower drainer was not working . Wifi do not work as well .
The hotel is right in the middle of the old city and close to everything you will want to see in Istanbul. It is close to the Tram line so access to all other sites is easy too. Rooms are clean and largely sound proof so you are not disturbed by the call to prayer. The Turkish bath downstairs is a must and a great place for a family water fight! The shopping is better and cheaper at the shops near the hotel than in the spice markets or grand bazar. The small three story restaurants near the hotel are so friendly and accommodating. The food is great, the prices cheap and the families will not let you leave without giving you a small gift when you pay the bill. The view from the third story is always a fabulous slice of Istanbul!
Doesn't have a pool like some resorts but your in the middle of Istanbul and you won't have enough time to see anything anyway!
We have stayed in this hotel every year we visited Istanbul. I'm afraid to look for a new one as this one offers us what we want for Istanbul. The location is perfect! Walking distance from Topkapi Palace, 4 tram stations from Taxim, 3 tram stations from Grand Bazar, 1 tram stations from Hagia Sophia, 2 tram stations from Blue Moschee. The rooms are very nice, the bed is very soft, i loved the soft carpet also. We stayed at a room without balcony so we could only smoke in the front of the hotel or on the terrace above. There are some rooms at the last floor with balcony in which we stayed last year, they are also nice but smaller. Don't expect to have a wonderful view at the hotels located in the touristic center. You will only see other buildings. Luckily this hotel doesn't have a crowded street in front and this is very good because it's more silent than the others. The breakfast is pretty consistent. We were satisfied. The furniture is nice and modern and the bathroom is also nicely equiped. The staff is helpful and they help you with your requests with a smile on their faces. They also speak pretty good English which is a plus in Istanbul :) If you have a car they will arrange parking for you. We always leave the car in the parking place during our visit in Istanbul. We found that it's best to visit Istanbul using the local transportation. All in all, we reccomend this hotel with warmth.
got a fairly good massage for free
Had to move to other rooms 2x because airco broke down. Breakfast poor.
It was a good hotel and in the old city where everything is near by. Thanks for Sevaca who had helped to arrange our rooms and our extention to stay.
My room was a bit warm and small.
