The room was very small and hotel did not arrange for our pickup from airport as we had instructed.
Was comfortable and clean
Staff were not helpful.
The staff were very helpful and catered to our needs... very close to attraction areas and nearby park just walking distance... I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget as it gives you Great value for money and the staff are very accommodating...
The pillows were extremely high and uncomfortable... had sleep only on the mattress... AC only blew out hot air and the room was so hot!
Location was perfect, kind people, nice breakfast, good service, modern rooms
It was too much hot and dry in the rooms. There wasn´t calmness for sleeping for my father in his room/building a new house/.
Bad smell in the bathroom,,;(
Cleanliness Friendly staff Location of the hotel Roof top restaurant
Front desk staff very helpful, thanks to all
Bed size and room lighting which is not enough
Cleanliness of the hotel The place of the hotel Very helpful staff Very nice breakfast Very good service to the room and finally an excellent welcoming
Noise of constrict work
Perfect location with most historic places within walking distance. Value for money. Good ambiance. Something to be commendable is that their Guest Relation officer Mrs. Richards almost supervises all activities personally, and access to her for the Guest is easy to address any issues.
Nothing that I did not like but the hotel can make an effort to improvise and that is their breakfast menu. They should change the menu at least alternate days as I found it to be almost the same for the days I stayed there.
Its a 4 stars hotel, not more not less, well worth the 100 euros/night I paid, great location between Eminönu and Sultanahmet...
Becomes noisy in the morning due to the activity of the dining room.
Breakfast Location Shower
Just returned from 5 days in Istanbul, staying at the Prince hotel. What a fantastic location! Very central to all the main attractions and great restaurants and the tram line. The hotel is modern with friendly staff, the rooms large, clean with very comfortable beds. We were a group of four and they put us in 2 interconnecting rooms which was perfect. Breakfast plentiful and loved the honeycomb! Richards, the hotel rep, was so helpful. She even made me a special tea for an upset stomach!! The spa was great and I had a fantastic massage. Definitely recommend and will stay there again.
As other reviewers have mentioned, there is noise from the hotel being built next door...but as you are out sightseeing during their working hours, it wasn't a huge problem. We came back early, one day, when it was raining, so heard it then.
Location Resturant Staff are very kind and friendly
The receptionist at the hotel spoke with us badly We were tired from traveling and moving from the airport to the hotel Employee left at the reception for nearly half an hour, and when check in he insisted to withdrawal extra money more than mentioned in booking.com We were tired and I had to accept in spite of the intransigence of the employee .I've tried to explain to him but he didn't listen to me I've contacted Booking.com administrator by telephone and was very cooperative and contacted the management of the hotel to refund the extra amount that the employee withdrawn from my account through visa Rooms are small than what is mentioned Booking.com There were no hot water in the shower Cleaning lady was very slow and it does not clean up until after noon she wasn't the bathroom changing tools and often leaved the room unordered
- location - rooftop restaurant
- spa facilities were not always ready (heated up) - some fruits at the breakfast were spoiled - cleanliness was just okay
Location Cleanliness Comfort Staff helpfulness Restful Good breakfast
Dining atmosphere was functional
Very good location
Non-smoking room that smelt of from being occupied by smokers. Poor sound insulation between bedrooms. We could easily hear the next door guests talking. Poor bedroom lighting. No drawers for clothing, only hanging and shoe space.
Stuff can speak many languages including English. Stuff were very helpful and nice specially Ms. Richard.
Food Not good for vegetarian
New indoor terrace restaurant on the 6th floor for when the weather does not permit operation of the outdoor terrace area.
Large amount of construction going on around the hotel at this time (October 2014) creating a lot of noise and dirty conditions in the roads around the hotel
The location was very convenient; within walking distance of many Istanbul highlights, & close to the tram line if wanting to venture further. Rooms were clean & spacious.
When we wanted to extend our stay by a couple of days, the staff at the front desk told us they were unable to help us & we needed to do it online.
Great location for the sites!
location is perfect for the old city
- The terrace view is not so pretty - They offer service for a very high price (airport shuttle, Bosporus tour) - Many things are extra cost, e.g. tea bags ... "take care of your money and look around for better options"
Close proximity to all major attractions and shopping/eating Excellent breakfast which was included Comfortable rooms Helpful staff
Cold, no heating Unhelpful staff Overpriced Charge for tea bags a breakfast Charge for fitness, sauna etc I had the biggest suite for 3 nights and paid about €300 a night
