Hotel Buyuk Keban  

Excellent Location, very close to the tramway station and 20 minutes walk to Sultanahmet and other historical attractions. Well maintained rooms. Friendly Staff. Excellent 5-star level Breakfast. Good value for money, even the rates were very reasonable despite of staying there in peak season.

No Toiletries. Internet was extremely slow. Room was a bit smaller then expected.

Everything was all right in the hotel. Good location, clean street, clean room and good breakfast.

Too much cheating from the local people. All the time they were cheating in prices in the restaurants, shops, taxi and market places. It was very depressing.

Excellent hotel, staff is very pleasant, rooms are very clean, breakfast is very good.The hotel is situated in the old part of the town, and it is very close to the metro/tram station.You can also reach very easy all important touristic sites by foot.

I stayed 4 nights in buyuk keban. . we were for. . we booked a quadruple room. . the staff gave us two double rooms! ! they were so friendly. . in each floor there are refrigertors that offer Cold/Hot water. . amazing! Close to city center and idel. For shopping Breakfast was amazing. . but no

Generally a very good hotel, with a very kind staff, open to solve accomodation problems of the client. I appreciate the simple design of the rooms.

all in all everything was good, since my stay was for two days, maybe next time it will be more and then i can give full description.

Room a bit small

Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff. Close location to the excellent tram network that runs in and around Istanbul. Very easy and simple access to all the sights of Istanbul by using the tram. Lots of shops close by. Clean and comfortable hotel that does the job for exploring a fantastic city.

Nothing really, although a better selection/variety at breakfast would be welcome.

it is located beside the shopping centers

1) much noise and knoking during the night, i did not know from where it came. 2) bad quality of food

There was no kettle in the room to make the tea or coffee. About the tv no english chanel,even euro news chanel.

There was a noise on my corridor every night,people were making noise while we were sleeping.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Room was cleaned everyday. I liked bathroom very much. It was little but you could find everything you need.Breakfast was tasty.There was no any problem with wi-fi. location was very good for city trip, business and shopping. I was satisfied of my choice.

The room was clean but there was a little dust on the furniture.

Room size and interior design was ok .

There were no soap in the bath , no drink in the fridge. We forgot a huge amount of foods in the fridge. And we phoned the hotel next day, but the foods are not kept for us. The foods had been brought all the way from Japan.

Hotel was very comfortable. Location was very suitable for business, shopping and for city trip. Staff was kindly. Hotel and room was almost clean and compact. I was satisfied of my choice.

They clean rooms everyday. The bathroom was clean. But there was a little dust on the furniture and on the floor in the room.

Nothing...Big mistake.i wonder if anybody there ,wend to school.

Attitude

Good Location.

I reserved double room but they gave me twin room then I asked them to change it, they change it for me. It was no AC in the rooms, they told me its their system to stop AC in November and all other hotels around. insdie the room was hot and can not open window because of noise.

Quite well-located hotel, not too far way from the main touristic places, but better to take a tram to go to Topkapi palace etc. The staff speaks quite a lot of languages (incl English and Russian). Fitting to the 3 stars expectations, good price for this location.

Hotel is surrounded by shops, so easy for shopping, but very noisy. Windows of our room were going out to the street and it was very noisy even with closed windows. The cleanness in the room is questionable. Breakfast is quite poor, not everything is possible to eat, but still can find some good things.

Very good localization.

Rooms weren't soundproofed at all. You could hear every whisper of your neighbours behind the wall or behind the door. Many Russians in the hotel, who were extremlely loud. It was impossible to sleep till 4 am... Staff in the hotel also very loud, they start cleaning at 7 am every day waking me up! Nobody in the hotel, but the recepcionist, was speaking english. Air condition was not working... Breakfast was awful... I don't recomend that hotel.

Very nice hotel, I liked it a lot, the only thing that I didn't was breakfast, could be more creative :)

Rude staff. Misleading facility usage. Pool and sauna require high payment to hotel. Poor standard of breakfast.

That the location was not really in Sultanamet and the price was way to high for the standard.

The lights in the room - very dark

Reception is open 24/24 h, the breakfast is a satisfying buffet, the location is good, it's at 5 minutes to tram station, the room is simple but well cleaned. Overall it's quite good.

The lift did not work very well, the breakfast trays already used were only emptied quickly and returned to the service, often they were dirty.

Staff were willing to assist with questions re directions and other queries. The location was central.

Lighting in dining room was poor.
